Rene Alexander is guilty. She's guilty of love, guilty of being faithful, and guilty of being a dutiful wife. She helped make her husband, William Alexander the man that he is today. She held him down when he went back to school, she took care of him when he was sick, and when the world told him he was nobody, she told him he was somebody. Rene always had William's back.
One day she catches him in the throes of passion with another woman in their home. Rene takes matters into her own hands costing her five years of her life in prison.
Now Rene is three weeks from being released on parole only to find out that her husband has since married again. Rene wants the life that William promised her. Only now there is another woman in the way, Tiffany Alexander.
Her ex, Thomas Anthony Young will stop at nothing to get her back. Thomas recently discovered a way back into Tiffany's life where she can't say no. Two women want the same man and two men want the same woman. The question is who will walk away and who will be offered Congratulations?
I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, but by the time I got to the end of this book I was just disgusted. I feel bad for Tiffany, it seems like she just keep getting the short end of the stick. Rene, I applauded her for suing her husband for his infidelity, but after telling her prison mate that she only likes men, she is so in love with her husband, now she’s heart broken and ends up being a lesbian, serious eye roll. The men in this book are not even good men, and the women are seriously crazy that they risk their freedom over a man that doesn’t give two F’s about them.
Made a mistake by skipping to the end. Don't like how it ended so therefore don't really care what's between 50% and the end. It might be good but right now I'm off to tackle book four.
