Just finished a Chinese novel “北去来辞”, unfortunately there’s no English version. It is the story of a girl from her country life with her family to the adult struggling in Beijing with his husband and her dream of writing. Young and fighting for freedom, while in the time of the huge changes in China, her dream broken. She back to home live with her husband even they already divorced, together worked hard for their daughter while this daughter became another “herself” and fight with them. She getting old and want to back to hometown while she realized her hometown also broke apart because of fast development. The whole book is a time line of China from 1930s-2010s, reminds me many memories back in China. It is a good book!

是近几年看过最精彩的小说。文笔流畅到让人不忍看得太快，生怕看漏了一个绝妙的描写。非常有侵略性的语言，一把攥住五感。她写个人个样，不管是海红这样始终不放弃自我和文艺的主角，还是银禾这样的生机勃勃的乡村妇女，每个人物都让你觉得你在人生的某些时刻就是她。主角的感情线没有流于俗套，反倒是几个男性角色寥寥几笔，太过瘾。看到作者用了两年时间定稿，果然好书都是磨出来的。
