"Do you think she'll be willing to barter now or is this something she might black mail me with at such a time as it suits her purposes?"
"Right now you have nothing I want, but thank you for being so amenable in helping me try out my new video camera. I think the picture quality is tremendous."
"What contest in hell did I win to end up with you?"
"Hmmm...a smokin' hot guy who's both popular and nice? When I get home I think I'll check the weather channel to see if they're ice-skating in Hell."
***WARNING*** This review isn't really a review at all, it's an open letter to Jenn Cooksey. I tried five times to write a proper review, and just couldn't. You can read my Shark Bait review here, and my "re-review" here if you are interested in actual reviews - or haven't read the series.
First, I must tell you I hate roller coasters. I hate them. I once went to six flags with my husband (before he was my husband - when we were Camie and Tristan's ages!) And I barfed. Lots. Then I cried. Lots. It was bad. And you know what? This is what your stupid book made me feel like. I was back on that roller coaster puking my guts up.
But the ending of this book? It's not really fair. It's not. At all. I don't know how you expect to make friends with a cliffhanger like that. I really don't. In fact, the whole last chapter? How the hell do you sleep at night? Because I couldn't, not after reading that. I couldn't sleep. And now? You have me hanging off the damn cliff, wondering just how I feel about some of my favorite characters.

“You find out who your real friends are when you call and tell 'em you just accidentally killed a hooker and they show up with a shovel and a full tank of gas.”
"I'm totally on Facebook, my alias is Invisible Nightmare."
