About the author

Author and artist Jordan Castillo Price writes paranormal sci-fi thrillers colored by her time in the Midwest, from inner city Chicago, to various cities across southern Wisconsin. She’s settled in a 1910 Cape Cod near Lake Michigan with tons of character and a plethora of bizarre spiders. Any disembodied noises, she’s decided, will be blamed on the ice maker.

Jordan is best known as the author of the PsyCop series, an unfolding tale of paranormal mystery and suspense starring Victor Bayne, a gay medium who's plagued by ghostly visitations.

Lucky in Las Vegas...

The people who live in Vegas are a tough, stubborn folk who don't take well to coercion. It's better to prey on the drunken revelers who are just passing through.

Just a short little glimpse at Michael and Wild Bill living the good live in Viva Las Vegas. This story is told from the POV of Wild Bill.

Some gambling, some vamping, some blood sucking... and no sex... Which was a little weird for this series, but whatever.

It was nice to get a quick look at one of my favorite couples. Like a smoke-filled, slightly twisted "Where Are They Now"...

They're back! Reading this reminds me of how much I missed Wild Bill and Michael. Unfortunately, this was a nice taste, but so not enough to quench my thirst for more.

Book: jackpot


There wasn’t really a plot to this. It was just a blip in the lives of our heroes. But it was good to revisit them. It was too long though because I didn’t remember that Michael’s arm was permanently injured.

Best quote: “Just because you’re able to vamp someone’s head doesn’t make it right.”

Sometimes I think these guys are amoral and then they go and say things like that.

I didn’t love this shortie as much as the rest of the series (and there's no sex in this one! 😳), but I’ll read anything featuring these two!

This short, free download pulls us back into the world of the gorgeous vampire Wild Bill. Thanks to JCP for the free download for her readers! I appreciate visiting with my favorite vampire. I hope that this means there will be more stories to come! While I enjoyed this short, it was really a tease and made me want more!

Oh how I've missed these boys! Loved to be reunited with Michael and Wild Bill, and especially loved that we got to see their antics through Bill's eyes.

To me, Bill's POVs, though funny and riddled with dry humor, always have an air of melancholy to them. He just gives the story that extra feel. And his perception of Michael never fails to endear me.

Another taste of Bill and Michael, but they did not taste each other No sex. Bummer. Sometime I too have felt about those faucets as the same Bill. Maybe many of us keep cining at life from the wrong angle and do not walk away while we are ahead.

Can we have more of Wild Bill and Michael? Maybe one little look at their life each year????? Please!

I just love JCP's writing. Wild Bill's analyzation of why the water from the restroom sink wouldn't spew out was hilarious. Good thing Michael was there to save the day.

Favorite line: " 'Who's to say why some people are always in the right place at the right time, and other people can't catch a break to save their lives.' "

An unnecessary short story in the Channeling Morpheus/Sweet Oblivion series. The tenth book made a good impression and also a good end for the series. The story really should end there. This short read doesn't add anything new to the characters or the plot.
