This is an oldie but goodie! I remember reading this book as a child, but it is amazing how well it stands up to today's understanding of weather. Of course, some basic principles never change and this book covers many of those principles with fun easy to do children's experiments which point out basic elements of the weather. The book includes much more text and more content than modern books on the subject, but it is still a good read for upper elementary and early middle school aged kids. Bravo! I love this book!

As a boy, this is the book that started my lifelong interest in closely following the weather.
I just missed be accepted to the U.S. Air Force School of Meteorology.
(There were no more vacancies in the summer of 1977).
This is a great book for kids!
