Haru and Yuzan
The most awaited heartbreaking tale of lost brotherhood all because of competition for fatherly love and sense of belonging. The whole time I was aching, the evocative voice is once again resurfacing, coming to life. This is what I love about Robico. Finally, we get the depthness in Haru and Yuzan's strange characteristics. Shizuku let up her real frustrations about Haru that caused both of them trouble. What is to come of Haru and Shizuku's relationship up to this point?
I was mostly curious about Shizuku's mother's sudden appearance though. I was eagerly waiting for them to have a chance encounter at least on the restroom but they didn't! And the Yoshida brothers' mother! Such an unfeeling woman, how could she?

This volume was something that I had mixed feelings about. The first half was super cute and fun to read. But the second half was frustrating and I was so upset with how things turned out. I didn't expect for certain things to happen and it's crazy because the series is almost over. Before reading this, I was watching the second season of Kimi ni Todoke and was frustrated by that as well. I want to read the next volume as soon as possible and hope that everything is alright.
"If you leave, I'll probably be sad. However, if there's somewhere else you'd rather be, you should admit it. Don't lose sight of what you really want."
Shizuku is a studybug who keeps her studies as her first priority and everything else comes after that, including her social life. Haru is a guy who had a fight on the first day of school and was suspended, since then, he hasn't returned. Shizuku is given the job to give Haru his homework and somehow convince him to come back to school. After they meet each other, they feel more confident and happy. They are confused about their feelings for each other but are making a huge impact on each other's lives. But where will they go from here?
Haru is so blunt and hilarious, I hope everything will go back to normal after this volume.
I wish Haru would stop running away after he says unexpected things. It's sad to see this relationship drift apart. I feel for Shizuku and I love how honest she is. Sasayan is looking out for Natsume and I love how honest he is. Natsume doesn't understand Sasayan, but I hope she does soon. Micchan is the same old cool guy from the beginning of the series. And I feel like Haru's brother is ruining everything. Takaya is such a cute sibling, he is so much like Shizuku. Yamaken is another amazing character but I'm not a huge fan of his sister.
While reading this, I learned so much more about Haru and I understand why he hasn't talked about his past. It's sad to see Haru go through so much, but I wish he would talk about it. And I wish that he would tell Shizuku everything instead of hiding it. And I hope he learns that you can't always run away from your problems.
I can't wait to read more and I recommend this to everyone! It's amazing and funny, but it also hits you with the feels!

I'm giving this volume 5 stars because it was a great addition to the series, a great read. This volume reflects on Yuuzan and Haru's past, how the brothers started to drift apart. Yuuzan was a loving brother, he loved Haru so much, but because Haru was special or an all-rounder, Yuuzan became jealous of him and so became a bit selfish. Haru also loved his older brother Yuuzan, his smile was where he belonged. But after they moved to their Father's house Yuuzan stopped smiling, so did Haru. Haru also became violent because of that and they eventually drifted apart.
There were a few flashbacks of what happened when Micchan's mother died. Because Haru started living with his aunt and he grew fond of her, and it seems like when she died Micchan begged for Mr. Yoshida's help and Haru did the same to Yuuzan but they both denied Micchan and Haru. So that is why Haru is angry with his father and Yuuzan on that matter.
Both the brothers loved each other and looked after each other but because of their father they grew apart. One got jealous by the other and other thought he was burdening or getting in the other one's way. This happens between siblings, but it can be sorted out, which didn't happen here.
Coming to Yuuzan's birthday party, Shizuku got a very cute and stunning makeover, thanks to Andou (he sometimes acts as a devil and sometimes as an angel). In the end, the party didn't go that well. Shizuku realised Haru had everything she wanted... and so yet again Shizuku got jealous of Haru. WHY IS EVERYONE JEALOUS OF HIM?? geez! LEAVE MY HARU ALONE!! *sigh* Haru was not in a good mood and Shizuku had to say that he didn't understand her feelings, that she was jealous of him because he wants to leave everything that she wanted and how different they both are. This made Haru angry and he said something bad.
Some people have everything, the stars, and the moon, so they crave for simple things like a walk on the beach. Haru is just like that, he wants nothing to do with all the fame and name that his father has, he wants a simple life. Or maybe he just doesn't get all that fancy stuff. Yuuzan thinks he is oblivious, and yes he is. Or maybe he is not and he is aware of what's going on but pretends to not know.
Anyway, this was a pretty big review. This volume sure was intense. The past can be a little ugly, but we have to move on from it. Learn from mistakes and make better choices. I hope everything gets simmered down in the next volume.

Okay I'm really not a big fan of "the dramatic back story"TM so the whole chapter of Haru's brother didn't do it for me.
I did like the party chapter, and I enjoyed seeing Shizuku with make up and a different style because she wasn't annoyed by it, she knows is not her thing but she didn't complain once because she knew she had to go like that. It was nice
Except the ending, seriously what was that??
AND THE extra chapter with mini Haru and mini Yamaken !! I just love those two :)

I devoured this series in 2 days. It's 13 volume's and it's the cute love story between Mizutani and Haru. Along the way they have challenges but overcome them. They are joined by a group of friends along the way on their adventures. The story is sweet it was totally binge worthy as I read them all in a little over 48 hours.
The author has created beautiful artwork to match the adorable story. This is a perfect slice of life romance manga. With great characters it was easy to be captivated by their story. I love how the series ended and highly recommend if you enjoy manga.

There are so much to digest in this volume, I had a feeling that something like this was going to be happen especially with how haru's history hasn't been looked at much!

Not entirely clear what the deal is with Haru's family. His father is absolute scum; his mother, I guess, divorced their father and abandoned her kids without ever bothering to keep in touch with them? They were sent off to the countryside to live with some unidentified woman, which is an odd choice, but I guess their father didn't want to deal with kids. Then they discovered that Haru was a genius, so they brought both kids back to live with their father?
I'm not really understanding what the value would be in any of this, or what they were expecting Haru to achieve. His interests certainly seem aligned with the scientific field, but sending him to live with his scientist aunt was seen as punishment...and for some reason Haru seems to hate his aunt's former colleague, who still wants to keep in touch with him.
So I'm just a bit confused by a lot of the backstory suddenly being packed into this volume, plus that weird unexplained appearance of Mitty's mother in the crowd? What is she doing in those circles, and what's the point of showing her if Mitty wasn't going to find out she was there?
I was also a bit disappointed that Yamaken didn't get to see Mitty all dressed up, but that's a minor complaint. He has sadly been disappearing from the action, and I'm not a big fan of that.
The Haru and Mitty fight was...I don't know. It didn't make a lot of sense for either of their extremely straightforward personalities. There was a good emotional punch at the end, with the fight resulting in Haru not coming back to school, but I can't say it was in character for that disagreement to have happened in the first place.
For one, I'm not sure what Mitty was actually upset about? I guess she feels like Haru has all the comfort and status and family he could ever want, if he was just willing to accept it, whereas she's been trying so hard to make her home a place her mother is willing to return to. But...Mitty's not stupid? She can see that Haru's family is awful and that there are solid reasons for him to not be a part of these posh events.
The best part of this volume was definitely the twist that Haru and his brother used to be super close, and that's why everything is so horribly strained between the two of them now. Their father played them against each other - probably not even intentionally, just out of pure selfishness - and it broke them apart.
That's a pretty devastating loss, but I'm not sure if it's something they can really recover from at this point. Haru forgives a lot, but he seems to hold some really unique grudges against his brother, in a way he hasn't done with anyone else in the story - including Yamaken and that whole group.
Interesting volume that felt like it had a pretty dramatic tone shift. Not sure where it's meant to go from here.

Este tomo realmente me dolió, sinceramente sentí que me caló demasiado el hecho de que literalmente Haru mandara al infierno a Shizuku…
Aunque logró comprender, que el esperaba apoyo por parte de ella y que de repente ella le empezara a decir mil cosas aun cuando ella sabía que él estaba mal.

I absolutely adore little Haru. I love that this one has many flashbacks that explains how they (Haru and Yuuzan) have grown to be who they are. Kind of makes me sad that the have changed so much towards each other, because that brothership they had was lovely :(

Haru and Yuuzan as children were so 🥺 and Shizuku and Haru seem to have another bump in the road but this might be because Haru literally refuses to tell Shizuku anything about his family DHSHSJS
Next volume will have to be about Yuuzan and Haru and just what the hell Haru had to go through. I’m quite excited for this!! I’ve been waiting for this since Haru jumped out of a window at the sight of his brother LMAOKAJAJ
ALSo somehow I’ve never said this before but I really love that this manga follows the same pattern of having 4 chapters per volume! Like I feel like every chapter is satisfying to read and then I can also tell how much I have left of a volume pretty well. Idk I just find it so neat!
Anywho 3 more left!

Pensé que ya lo había puesto pero no, agosto se esfumo demasiado rápido para mi gusto.
Una vez más me va gustando este shoujo, me arrepiento de no haberlo leído antes pero no tanto porque en ese momento me importaba más comprar el manga para leerlos al tirón después.
La relación va desarrollandose en una forma natural, ahora conocemos más sobre la familia de Haru y su pasado, porque no desea estar con ellos o porque se alejaba de su hermano. Fue muy bueno y el final te deja con ganas de más. Los amo mucho, demás de que conocemos como se conocieron Kenji y Haru cuando eran niños.
Me muero por saber más de esta historia.
Buenas lecturas les deseo.

La relación va desarrollandose en una forma natural, ahora conocemos más sobre la familia de Haru y su pasado, porque no desea estar con ellos o porque se alejaba de su hermano. Fue muy bueno y el final te deja con ganas de más. Los amo mucho, demás de que conocemos como se conocieron Kenji y Haru cuando eran niños.
Me muero por saber más de esta historia.

Wow. Some background on Yuzan and Haru. Poor Haru.... Yuzan didn't like how carefree and smart Haru was so he had him sent away so their father would pay more attention to him. Poor Haru just wanted his brother.
And how dare Yuzan say that to Haru at the party, Shizuku did not say that Haru made her sick. Poor Haru told Shizuku to go to hell, he thinks she turned against him too. They need to talk but they are both so bad at communicating. And then he didn't come to school! I hope Shizuku doesn't just expect Haru to come back to school and goes to find Haru!!

Waffling between a 2 and 3 stars, so I guess that means 2.5 stars.
I am so torn on this because the core of it- Shizuku and Haru's relationship and them being jealous over each other's positions despite those positions coming with painful, ugly, hurtful traits- is a very juicy development. All of the peripherals piss me off. Ando continues to exist, and now seeing Haru's womanizing dad being portrayed with woman falling over themselves to throw themselves at him as opposed to him using his power and influence to treat women like objects is just blehg

3.5 in this volume we got more back story to Yuzan and his relationship with Haru. This volume was also a bit sadder but I also didn't enjoy it as much as other volumes. I also think there are going to be relationship issues between Mitty and Haru in the next volume which I don't look forward to reading about. I need 3 more volumes but I think I will take a small break from this series for a bit.

I like the story's progress in this one, because I have been curious about Haru's past and his relationship with his family. The previous books have been focusing more on his and Shizuku's school life and relationship with friends, which is mostly typical shoujo manga's plot and conflict. I also get to see a more serious and honest side of Haru in this book, usually he's either acting all crazy or evading things, which frustrated me.

Conocer la versión de ambos de pequeños es muy lindo.
Es el cumpleaños de Yuzan y Haru es obligado a ir, pareciera que van a salir bien librados, pero al final las cosas salen mal, que pasará ahora entre Haru y Shizuku?!

Przerywam tę serię. Nie chce mi się tego czytać. Manga miała cień potencjału, ale okazała się nudna i wtórna. Romans był nijaki, oboje najpierw mówią, że kochają drugą osobę, a potem nagle stwierdzają, że jednak nie.
To nie jest najgorsza manga, jaką widziałam. Ale nie widzę sensu w czytaniu jej dalej, skoro tak bardzo mnie nie rusza.

Melihat Haru dan Yuuzan rasanya sangat lucu, bagaimana mereka iri satu sama lain dan membuat mereka saling menjauh. Seandainya mereka saling menyadari perasaan iri itu, mungkin tidak akan ada salah paham dan mereka bisa kembali bersama lagi.

por fin pudimos ver más sobre el pasado de Haru y Yuzan, nos explican por qué se llevan tan mal, lo cuál es un poco triste ya que cuando eran chicos parecían muy unidos, muchas explicaciones que habíamos estado esperando, y mientras más nos acercamos al final, más preocupada me tiene.

In this volume, we find out more about Haru's family life and his relationship with her older brother Yuuzan and I am here for it. The past couple of volumes have felt like the plot was treading water due to Shizuku and Haru constantly misunderstanding each other, but now that they're finally a couple, things have picked up (though it is really frustrating that the volume ends with the two having an argument, aaarrggg JUST BE HAPPY FFS).
My only disappointment is that I want more Sasayan and Natsume!
