Creo que quienes le han puesto menos de 4 estrellas lo han hecho por el título, pero realmente es un libro muy empoderador, en especial para todas aquellas mujeres que han crecido bajo la sombra de un padre machista

Llega a ser una autobiografía y no queda claro la razón de que tipo de puta fue que le fue mejor, pero quizás es tema del lenguaje... Es buena actividad de catarsis las cartas que el lector se lleva de posible tarea.

TOTALMENTE irrealista, demasiado aburrido no encuentro que tenga algún mensaje que se quiera transmitir, no lo recomiendo en nada es una pérdida de tiempo.

A priory it seemed like a good premise. To fight female stereotypes in a male dominated society like Latin America. However, the writing style and the awful editing put me off.
Marroquin's country is a very conservative Christian one, with Catholics and Evangelicals making up most of the population. So for most people there, appearances count for a lot.People giving a holier than thou public facade, while secretly having and affair with a married person for example. Marroquin, writes against that type of hypocrisy and in this semi autobiographical account she recounts her journey from a conservative childhood to a realization in young adulthood that keeping appearances is not worth the effort.
However as I say, her poor writing style, and the horrible editing of the book (complete with many a typo) put me off and in the end just made the reading of this book a veritable CHORE.
