Three months into her job at Caractacus Jones’s Paranormal Investigations, Hollie Blythe has found herself equipped with a new kettle and a slightly more stylish pair of spectacles.
However, she and Cary have much more important things to deal with when they find themselves taking on the case of Alistair Bracken, a man whose death wasn’t the weirdest thing to happen to him that week.
Fast paced, full of action and quirky dialogue, Sherwood delivers a great novella. I read this on the bus to and from my university and found myself laughing out loud on a few occasions.
It's nice to see more of connection with Hollie and Cary, which I hope to see more of.
