What I don't like is the pace...it feels rushed and they're talking about how Leila is different and she's special to Jacob but I don't get it...What exactly makes a woman whom he knows for four days special?

In the last part Leila said yes to being billionaire Jacob Whitmore's assistant and submissive. This means for her a totally new world...a whole new wardrobe worth thousands of dollars, private jets, and a first assignment in Venice, Italy.
In Venice an old flame of Jacob's comes back into the picture and Leila has to face the fact that she is falling for her boss.

Like the first one, I really enjoyed reading this. Another amazing hot sexy installment.

I honestly don't know where this is heading off.

There's a lot to take in. A lot of characters to digest in such few pages; and to be frank, that's not helping the story in any way..

This book starts a whirlwind fantasy for her, getting her new clothes, private jets, trip to Venice. At every turn there is a woman saying things to her to make her feel like she is just one out of many woman he does this with and there is nothing special about her. Leila struggles with low self esteem, she was bullied in high school and she still has a hard time anytime someone makes a comment about her body, why someone would be attracted to her, things like that and this is a subject that hits home for many women. They have so many encounters that they get hot and heavy then something takes over and he gets scared and he pulls away and it hurts her heart a little more each time. We get to meet Allegra, we don't learn who she really is in this book but she is kind to Leila, sticks up for her, and really likes her. She sees how Jacob feels about Leila and tries to push him to face it but he is closed off to a real relationship, just a contractual one. It feels like so much happens in this book, way more then in the first one. We also get to meet their client Rachel and she is a spoiled snot that is threatened right away by Leila and this leads me to believe that her and Jacob were once involved. Rachel says some terrible things to Leila to put her down such as "On what planet would a girl like you end up with someone like him?" Rachel pushes Leila too far and she blows up on her and when Jacob tells her to apologize to Rachel Leila storms out and goes to her hotel room thinking her time with him is done and she is now unemployed. What happens next is great so I will leave it here so not to spoil anything.

Well now it's interesting. Not that it wasn't before. Business trip Venice, little notes of instructions ie; 'No underwear'. God can it get sexier. Leila for all her trying, is convincing herself that there isn't any feelings on his part one minute then falling deeply the next. Letting jealousy get the better of her.

Yes she has a degree, but doesn't mean she smart when it comes to submitting. Jacob, Jacob, Jacob, are you just a Dom or is there more. Thinking there is more from him to, as she isn't the normal sub he would choose.

That client of theirs Rachel, Leila's right Rachel is a bitch, I think it's prerequisit for being a movie star. But hello jealous much, if the new assistant 'Leila', isn't a threat & as she says Jacob's not interested, then why push the point & treat Leila like shit. Not sure of the history there, but no good can come from that one.

I'm enjoying the suspense so far & finally the hot & heavy at the end, but I feel the Leila needs to grow a little & try to submit better. But definitely reaching the interesting, need to find out more about Jacob & why he is this way.


Hopefully the advice givers will stop trying to put their 10 cents in, obviously not something Leila likes to continually hear. She has to learn to control her temper more, but by god it seams to turn Jacob on when she blows her top, quite amusing.

Part 2 of this series.

Leila signed the contract and agreed to be Jacobs personal assistant as well as his submissive. The mini story picks up where the last part left off preparing for Italy. Shopping spree, new cloths are just the beginning of the changing rapidly taking place in Leila life. A private Jet to Italy and Jacob running hot/cold makes for an intresting start. Ariving in Italy we met Allega, who mysteriouly gets a smile and a laugh from the stone Jacob.

Also we met Rachel Lamby who we got a couple intresting scenes from so far. This part 2 ends with a bang we finally get Leila and Jacob together in bed sorting out some lust and sexual attraction.

I plan to read part 3 soon. I would recomend this series. It is intresting so far and kept my attention.

To say that waiting for something to happen between Leila and Jacob is a understatement, because Leila does not know what to expect for her first as an asstistant. One thing I love about Leila is her sassiness and the way she speaks her mind with a cutt-troat thong and I liked very much because although she feels and wants to be submissive she does not anyone not even Jacob step on her to show who she is. LOVED it!!!!

We join Leila as she is getting her new clothes, new toys, and making her way to Venice as the first experience into her new world.

Jacob is confusing, dominating, and closed off towards Leila and it's confusing not only her but me as well. They finally have full out sex and Leila makes a stand for herself when it comes to Jacob's ex. A character who doesn't take crap from the horrible exs. It's refreshing.

I purchased the entire series and read it as one book (to read them one by one would have seriously annoyed me). I thoroughly enjoyed the series especially the fact that the BDSM was low-key and there was a story and other characters to it (a lot of the books lately are just soft-core porn). Thank you very much for a very enjoyable book that I couldn't put down until I finished the last page, Ava. You did yourself proud. xxx

Within 4 days of being hired, Liela is promoted to Jacob's personal assistant and submissive. He takes her on a shopping trip, then to Venice. All the while, various women warn Liela away from Jacob but Jacob tells everyone he knows that Liela is special. Why she's so special, I don't know and it's never explained. They don't spend much time together and there isn't much chemistry between them. Not reading further installments.

Just not feeling the chemistry between these two. She was "known" him for 4 days and is acting like this. Jacob and Leila are just not doing it for me - there doesn't seem to be much story. I was expecting more - I will try book 3 and 4 just to see if it gets any better. I don't want to count the author out for such short books right from the start.

I am not sure about this series yet. It has the potential for being a great story but everything is just so rushed. Jacob is all over the place and for a dominant doesn't seem in control all the time. Leila is fun to read but I don't feel any great chemistry between the two. I felt the like the most interesting part of the story was when Rachel came into the picture.
