If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers' dismay. All efforts to make her produce "normal" stories failed.
Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She's the author of the NYT-bestselling "Women of the Otherworld" paranormal suspense series and "Darkest Powers" young adult urban fantasy trilogy, as well as the Nadia Stafford crime series. Armstrong lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.

Kelley Armstrong’s Otherworld series is one of my favourites in the genre. I was hooked throughout and adored how many spin-off stories the author gave her readers. As you would expect with a series that follows many characters, everyone has their favourites. I belong to the minority where Paige and Lucas are my favourites.
As Paige and Lucas are my favourite characters, it is no surprise to know I love the stories that follow them. Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic were wonderful reads that kept me hooked throughout, opening many new opportunities for the world. I was sucked in by everything that was introduced, and I could not get enough of the characters. Wedding Bell Hell and Case of the Half-Demon Spy were fun short stories, offering yet more insight into the world.
Without a doubt, I recommend the Otherworld series, and will always be happy to recommend Paige and Lucas to people.

This book has both Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic in it so I skipped over those and read their books instead but I did read the stories and loved that little bit of extra information on Paiges life

Sometimes hard to follow characters and felt too drawn out at times, however, I enjoyed it:)
