Rate this book
The magic continues in SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH: THE MAGIC WITHIN!
Sabrina Spellman’s life is intense. On top of the usual stresses of being a teenager, she’s a witch! And that means two schools and twice the work, from her Mortal Realm high school and the Magic Realm’s Charm School.

It should be simpler. But in addition to a regular spelling bee, she has to study for a magical spell-ing bee. She’s finally dating her childhood Sweetheart—but he doesn’t know she’s a witch! She also has a crush on a cute young wizard—but he’s dating her best friend! On top of the drama, Sabrina keeps being dragged into the middle of strange and dangerous events in the Magic Realm.

Written and illustrated by acclaimed artist Tania del Rio, THE MAGIC WITHIN 2 is the second collection of Archie's critically praised American manga!

The story line of these is really becoming interesting. I like reading these as graphic novels/mangas (I don't know the correct terminology) much better than as scattered stories in the Archie comics. In this way, there's a whole story line to follow that develops from chapter to chapter. I enjoyed this one, and I'm looking forward to the continuation.

Sabrina tonårshäxan i mangaform.

Rekommenderas!

The romance was just trash, but the overall storyline is somewhat intriguing.

Now that the story has gotten going and all the important characters have been introduced, it's gained a more serious tone.
I kind of hate Harvey in this series. I get he's supposed to be shy, but he's also been Sabrina's friend since they were little. There is no good reason he shouldn't be able to talk to her openly about his problems.
The romance in general for the series seems kind of meh. The love triangle is pathetic. Harvey should just be written off. It seems like he's not around most of the time anyway. The story seems to focus on Sabrina, Shinji, and Llandra.
I noticed a lot of grammar errors and sentences that were worded a bit strange.
I didn't see any of this in the first volume, but it's all over the place in this one. It's like the writer thinks the reader has the memory of a goldfish. There were reminders all over the place. Any time a reference was made to an event that happened in any previous chapter, there was a reminder to tell you what chapter it was in, or tell you what happened. It was so excessive, at one point, I finished a chapter, and on the first or second panel of the following chapter, it had a reminder for the chapter I had just finished. I can see an excuse for this if the chapters were printed separately and far apart, but for a book like this where they are all together, it just seems silly.

I love this series! It’s a lot of fun. It isn’t like the other Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics or shows I’ve watched before.

There are a lot of fantasy elements to the story. The magic realm plays an important part in the series. Sabrina and her friend discover that the Mana Tree is dying, which represents the life of their queen. They also travel under the sea to the world of merpeople. I love these fantasy elements of the story. Rather than seeing a witch in the real world, which is what the other series are usually about, we get to see the magical world that Sabrina comes from.

One part that I found surprising with this series is Harvey. I can’t stand him in these stories! He can’t make up his mind about liking Sabrina. He likes her, but once they get together, he changes his mind. I was rooting for her and Shinji to get together (even though he is dating her best friend).

I highly recommend this series for fans of Sabrina! It’s a refreshing look at the teenage witch!

This book was still a cutesy addition to the series. I wasn’t expecting the emotional roller coaster that I was taken on. One we started with Harvey breaking up with Sabrina I kinda had a feeling we were in for a ride. Shinji reveling he was the child of the leaders of the Renegade Blades. Witnessing his parents dying in front of him. Sabrina and him kissing in front of Llandra and causing them to break up. Then Shinji and Sabrina kinda being together. That’s fucked up to do that to your friend. Llandra and Sabrina figuring out the Mana tree is dying and that’s why monsters are coming into the Magic Realm. I was hooked and I can’t wait to continue the series.

The romance was boring but the rest of the story was quite interesting. I like the mystery behind the Mana Tree - I want to know what happened and this is why I keep reading - but Sabrina is quite unlikable because she keeps changing her mind. And all the teen drama is too much.

The part about the underwater town was the best, in my opinion, but I do have a soft spot for sea creatures.

I guess I'll finish the series. It's quite interesting even if, for a manga, it surely does have too much text. Really, it took me forever to finish it.

bad friend! sabrina is a bad friend!

listen. boys are bad news, it doesn’t matter how old or young they are. sometimes you find a gem, but shinji is not a gem! he cheated on llandra with her best friend!

this one was infuriating. i hate harvey. and amy. and shinji. and honestly sabrina. the queen also seems useless.

a mess.

This was fun like the first book though I wish there was a little more moments with Salem. And I am annoyed with the back and forth between Harvey and Shinji. But I do wonder what is going on with the Queen.

Generally I enjoyed this way more than the first one and I am hoping the third manga will be at least as good as this one. So yes this one definitely deserves the five stars!

Fun like the first volume. Still lots of back and forth in the romance department but we do get more character background on Shinji.

This volume had a lot of great chapters & plot twists. I loved seeing how all of the characters and their relationships evolved throughout the book as well as getting to know more about them and their pasts, especially Sabrina & Shinji's pasts. This volume also introduced a new character that looks like he will add a lot to the story.

Chapter 01.) Wish you were Here
Chapter 02.) Four Blades Day
Chapter 03.) Spell it Out
Chapter 04.) Grand Prize
Chapter 05.) It's Nice to be Ice
Chapter 06.) Going Once, Going Twice
Chapter 07.) Web of Secrets
Chapter 08.) Past and Present
Chapter 09.) Shared Burdens
Chapter 10.) Deep Sea Secrets
Chapter 11.) The Four Blades Day Return

The story does better as it goes on but it needs to decide whether time moves forward or not. If next book starts with them entering tenth grade I might explode.

I enjoyed the introduction of the Four Blades, and I'm still loving the series. I'd like to see more crossover between Sabrina's mortal and magical life.

I'm still not so sure about the whole love-triangle-as-plot-device trope, but that's just me. Adding political intrigue helps a bit. We're a long way from Riverdale.
