Willow’s journey continues in VITAL, the fourth book in the INSIGHT series. Combating a crumbling family life, a circle of suddenly inconsiderate friends who seem determined to anger her, and a plethora of emotional trials too numerous to withstand, Willow feels overwhelmed. She has pushed herself beyond her own limits and in so doing has closed her mind. Dreams are no longer coming to her.

As she deals with this tumultuous environment, Willow also notices a change in her beloved. Once her source of support and compassion, Landen is suddenly filled with a newfound rage. Fierce and possessive, he forces Willow to wonder whether the bliss of their love has faded away, or if something darker is affecting Landen’s soul. Always watchful of Willow, Drake sees this change and the growing rift between the pair. Both he and Willow remember all too well what happened during Venus’s passing; will Drake take advantage of Landen’s compromised emotions?

Amidst all this turmoil, Willow finds herself obsessed with finding her: the elusive twin. The girl who looks exactly like Willow, and who must be Drake’s soul mate. Willow knows in her heart that to find this girl will remove a tremendous weight from her shoulders, clearing her mind and heart. But a mysterious warning about the chart of her past forces her to consider this course carefully.

And she must consider it soon. Even now, Mars approaches and Willow’s most important battle is at hand. Will she finally break beneath the torment the universe has set upon her, or will she stand beside her friends and loved ones as Mars unleashes its wrath?

SO amazing!!! If you haven't read this or the INSIGHT and SEE series GET THEM!!! This book goes so well with the others and is bringing the SEE series so seamlessly into play. The writing is great and really makes you not only visualize what is going on but feel what the characters are going through. You really root for the characters you love and want to beat the crap out of the ones you don't although there are not many characters I do not like. On edge and excitingly awaiting the next books.

I liked the others in the series a little bit more. This one has one heck of a Cliff hanger and definitely has me wanting to read the next (can't wait). I felt like Vital left me with a lot of questions.

The love triangle continues as Drake, Landon and Willow fight the Devil himself. Both Willow and Landon are a bit more fierce in this one. I'm definitely intrigued by the new characters coming in and can't wait to see where this takes us.

Keep them coming Jamie Magee. I'm fixing to read the See Series.

& on a happy end note the grammar I complained about in my last review is fixed!

I have to say 5 STARS for this book. The first book I knew it had a powerful message but for me spent too much time on the details. The emotions that have been escalating exploded in this book. For you psyche majors that love the entanglement of extreme emotions of self expressed through relationships, this book is for you. the power of the mind, emotions and perseverance.

Fourth book in this series. Some interesting twists and developments, but getting hard to see how the writer is going to keep that up for the remaining six trials (epic good v evil challenges). This is especially curious as I have found only two more books in the series, and previously there has been one trial per book. As I have enjoyed them so much, I'm game to find out.

Cliff hanger ending. Over all pretty good. The emotion vs intention thing is starting to bug me. It was a while since I read the last book so it took a bit for me to get all the players straight especially since a lot of the character names start with "a".. Hopefully the next one comes out soon!

Willow,Landen and Drake's lives are so intertwined. I would not want to be in her position.
One man is enough for me.

Continuing my reread of the whoooole series with this book. Technically, I should have read See, but I decided to continue with Chara, Esterious, Willow and Landen. I felt like it was a better place to take a break of these specific characters than after Image.

I debated a long time before taking this decision but I think it was a good one : I really liked (re)discovering the mentions of Charlie and her clique through Willow and Landen's eyes.

Overall, I feel like this book is more of a path towards the other books and it sets the tone : it's dark and full of mystery but our heroes get stronger and better with their insights. All the while, they get the help of their family with understanding the lore and trying to plot a victory against a demon.

In Vital, everybody gets angry at one point, showing the "almost" influence of Mars, while Landen and Willow try to get through this trial that happens just barely 2 weeks after Venus!

I was happy to finally understand what happened with Dane and also the looking glass. My English level wasn't that good when I first read the book and some things got lost in translation.

At the end of Vital, poor Willow is left with a new power but in a dire position for sure... I can't wait to read Vindicate, when she'll meet Madison, Charlie and the twins!!

This is a very entertaining and heart wrenchingly annoying read, I love the storyline and all the connections all the characters have with each other it's exciting and I adore reading relationships like this. As a reader you get all their personalities and desires for helping support their main leads and the devotion they all have for each other is awe inspiring. The plot thickens with the trials of the demon angel getting harder and lessons needing to be learned longer, I like how this was an in your face kind of read when it came to figuring out what the trial is. The twists that get thrown in climate are particularly engrossing and greatly appreciated. Personally I don't care for love triangles, this one is especially bad. I'm a sucker for happy endings and I love the main leads but I don't see any happy ending in sight for them everyone is gonna burned. I will happily say I'm ecstatic for the merging of series within a series here.

I really like this series so far but am getting quite tired of the repetitive use of the words "slyly" and "addictive". I'm not sure a "sly grin" or someone "slyly smiling" is always being used with the correct meaning or context. Everything is addictive! Lips, smiles, dimples, eyes, skin, hugs, caresses and so on lol. Also people never shake their heads. They move thier head side to side, sometimes slowly or quickly. Perhaps if I wasn't reading the whole series back to back I wouldn't have noticed.

Willow and Landen

This is the sixth book in the Web of Hearts and Souls series, and the fourth book in the Insight series. Willow needs to learn how to control her emotions in this installment. She is focused on finding the one meant for Drake, and feels that his soul mate will end the turmoil between Landen, Drake, and herself. Her emotions are all over the place in this book and she needs to relearn how to dream and rest so her emotions can be resolved.

Dane and clarissa ate still staying away from the family. Something is different about dane. Willow has developed a new insight and she is dealing with how to control it. The musicians from infante become a big part of all the trials. This trial is incredibly difficult because it pits family members against each other. Very good, keeps you on your toes.

Love the story

I love the story. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the typos/editing. There was one part where the wrong character's name was used. Toward the end there were grammar errors that hurt my eyes.

That being said, I am interested enough in the story and dedicated to the characters that I will read on!

Willow is a little whiny for my taste she is a little caught up in herself sometimes instead of whole picture. Again can not put down once I have started
