The most profound impact that this book has is in the way that it leaves you to observe a possible future reality, and connect with a possible future solution. The important part is that it ends, as it begins - leaving the reader to contemplate how it will continue. It is beautiful and full of lessons.

This is not your usual book for entertainment. It operates on many levels... it is a must read for those reflecting on the future of humanity and the Earth. The author's brilliance, vision, and idealism are all manifested. The vision of the world in the midst of collapse is compelling and the characters and story are engaging.
