While “Each One Teach One” began some thirty-five years before the writing of this book as a way to teach and win non-Christians in illiterate areas, it now begins to reveal immensely wider possibilities as a means of witnessing for Jesus. Teaching one student in the right way gives the tutor a leisurely opportunity to drop little witness stories about Jesus at the end of each lesson. If his love is sincere, his burning heart will set the heart of his student on fire with the love of Christ which he himself has. The method of “Each One Teach One” can be used in a wide variety of teaching illiterates, foreigners desiring English instruction, children needing remedial tutoring, and educated people wanting to improve their reading speed. Every sincere Christian can find a place where he can tutor, and can witness that he learned from Jesus to do it without money. Service, plus witness, plus prayer, is the trinity on earth that can save the world – if enough of us do it!
