I'm not a huge fan of shifters, but I found this to be (mostly) enjoyable. I loved Jayson. I loved that he loved Laina for who she was and that her size didn't matter to him. My absolute favorite part was when he stood up for her against the whole pack and put them in their place.

I’d never felt so out of control. I’d never been so close to committing mass murder. “Shut up! I’m ashamed of every one of you. I’m ashamed to be your alpha! I didn’t raise you this way. I didn’t teach you to alienate any one.”

I wish Laina had more love for herself, but I realize it was hard for her to love herself when all she heard was how lacking she was.

This was definitely a nice steamy quick read.

This book spoke to me. Both as a plus sized goddess and as a plus sized women dealing daily with societies cruelty. I think deep down we need more and more books like this so plus sized goddess's will reach out of their own personal darkness and come powering into the light. This story of longing and passion was beautifully crafted by Christin and I hope many women read and enjoy its message.xxx

As a whole this series is about being comfortable in your own skin. Weather your extra curvy or your boat floats a different way no matter who you are you deserve to be happy and find love and that's what these stories are all about. With a slew of hunky alpha males who were willing to help each heroine see the true beauty in themselves. I loved this series as a whole and how each story had a different way each alpha was able to show their mate that they were beautiful not in spite of but because of their curves. "The definition of beauty is different to everyone, just as our ideas of perfection are different" (Two times the Charm) Some of these heroines were afraid to allow themselves to think that someone could love them as they were and I loved how the alpha's were able to reassure their mates of their worth and learn how to be happy with themselves without fear. "Fear never encourages freedom; it supports oppression. It is those that live with no fear that achieve the most." (Two Times the Charm)

Loved how their paranormal aspect was incorporated in this series and I can't wait to read more!

This is by far, the best in the series so far. This book had so much more "meat" in it than the previous ones in the series.
I loved the fact that Christin was able to dig deep and delve into the emotions of an abused woman, and use this to create a strong character, even though she is not aware of it herself.
This novella was also much longer than the others, giving us more time to really get to know the characters, as well as their wants and needs.
The internal conflicts between wolf and human for both Jayson and Laina, have been going on much too long. It's time they acted on their fears if they are ever to find their HAE. A great read.

This was another "what?!" entry to the Alpha Doms series. So for four years he let everyone be mean and nasty to his mate, because he loves her and accepts she doesn't want him?! And her entire family is mean, all of them? Not even a little bit nice? Luckily Christin Lovell does write pretty smoothly and the sex scenes are fairly good because some of this stretches the imagination a bit too far.

this is another hit out of the park for this series. Laina is the typical shy girl who has been mentally abused for her weight. Jayson is the alpha who thinks her curves are just what he needs. This story is about a battle of wills each person wants the other but is waiting for the other to make the first move. Laina knows she is Jayson's mate but is sure that someone smaller and prettier would be better suited for the alpha. Jayson knows Laina is his mate but has been waiting for her to admit it before he claims her. This is a amazing book and I would recommend this to anyone.

I seriously love this series. It has hot Alphas in love with real people (or weres ;)). This one was not my favorite because some of the things she was feeling in it hit too close to home to me. That being said, that means Christin nailed it. This book really follows her philosophy that people do not have to be perfect to be perfect together and I love that message. Oh and get a fan out for some of the scenes.

I believe I liked this one more than any of the others. First this one being longer we got a little more story. You get to see the journey of a broken abused girl. We also get an alpha that truly loves her. What he did at the end for her wolf was amazing and wonderful. I just wish we got to see what happened to her family or the pack. There could have been so much more here.

Didn't quite like it. The author seriously has something out for the plump chicks. I wonder if she got over her high school experience? I'm a 'bigger' girl but I don't have an issue with commanding respect or anything else for that matter. This novel bordered on a lot of abuse, it kind of made me sick to read. I'm tired of the woe is me crap, stand up for yourself already!

Tears

Lovely story that had me in tears because of the emotions Laina went through. I felt her pain but also her struggle to love herself and give it to Jayson. Then there was Jayson whom was dealing with a her unforgivable family, a hateful pack, and Laina rejection of him. I had to breathe deep until the end. Not a typical were story but Awesome none the less.

This book is another great read from Christin Lovell. I loved how well this book was written and how well the characters were developed.
