A soft, sensitive, astute collection of poems. Here's one line I particularly loved from the poem "Crossing Over":

"We skim along in great peril, / having to move faster than ice goes under / and still find foothold in the soft floe."

I love this book. I've read it twice now and I can't think of another poetry book that does what this one does, part narrative, part dream, and as lyrical as nature itself.
