This book is nearly perfect; I love that Seidel doesn't give a fuck what you think.

This poetry collection wasn't for me. I found the poems hard to follow. Most of the references were so specific to the time they were written that I just felt lost. It's no longer the 60s and 70s. I don't really remember the impact of Robert Kennedy. Nothing here was resonating, which is unfortunate because I'm sure if I was older and I read this with the proper lived experience this collection would be impactful to me. But it just. It wasn't.
