Some sweet true stories told by several LDS authors. The memories of the Christmas’s that brought the Christmas Spirit. I enjoyed them all and felt the same magic.
In the book Christ mas Spirit by Sarah M. Eden it tells about a girl who got three coins from her great-great-grandfather. The coins where made of really old silver and so they were worth a lot of money. They where very special to her. Then one day she moved to another city and a when she opened all of her boxes she couldn't find her coins. She was super sad about this event. Then she found this box filled with papers and at the very bottom of the box was her beloved coins.
I think that the theme of the book Christmas Spirit is to have faith. Because she had to have faith to think that she would eventually find her beloved coins. And she also refers to have faith in things.
I liked the book because the pages where smaller that a lot of other books. And how I could relate to the story about the coins. And that the chapters were smaller then some other books. And last is that it had a great story that made me feel worm inside and happy.

This collection of twelve Christmas stories ranges from funny to touching, as the authors share stories about topics such as learning to receive, learning to look beyond the tangled Christmas lights and other obstacles to see the true meaning and spirit of Christmas, and other such topics. This short little collection can be read all in one sitting, or stretched out to enjoy one story per day, but either way, most readers should find a story here that touches their hearts with the Christmas spirit as well.
These twelve TRUE Christmas stories will bring the Christmas spirit into your heart. Stories from losing and then finding the special "Christmas Coins..." To the memories of "Sugar Cookies and the True Meaning of Christmas..." To "The Best Worst Christmas Ever." These stories will remind you of what Christmas is really all about.
This is an excellent little book, and a very quick read. If you want an extra measure of the true Christmas spirit (with a few chuckles added in), pick it up and read it post haste.
I loved this little book. It gave me hope. The economy may be bad, but no one is dying of cancer on the eve of my wedding. It gave me a lot to be thankful for.
Such wonderful and touching stories compiled all together in this short book. I found myself crying at several points from the stories shared from the different authors.
This is a very quick read full of short personal Christmas stories either experienced by the authors or told with permission from the person who experienced it. Each of the stories are sweet and touching with a spiritual message. Despite it being February, I really needed to hear these stories today since it hasn't been the best of days. I found them uplifting. Some made me laugh and some made me get teary. I appreciated them all.
I recognized the authors as writers I was familiar with. I enjoyed their excellent writing and enjoyed their individual stories. I was pleased with taking a break from reading fictional stories. The Spirit of Christmas was present in this collection of stories.
