Now that Lucas has declared his love for her, Sienna is sure the drama between them is over.

She’s not afraid of Lucas’s ex-wife or whatever secret the other woman is holding over him. For two blissful days—the remainder of Sienna’s contract with Lucas—they hole up in a vacation house in the mountains of Tennessee, consuming each other. At the end of their stay, Lucas comes to Sienna with a proposition: his band, Your Toxic Sequel, is going on tour with Wicked Lambs, and he wants her with him the entire time. Sienna agrees to work wardrobe and be his official girl.

Life on the road is different from anything Sienna has ever known. Not only does she have to deal with Lucas’s band members, but she’s also forced to be around Cilla, the lead singer of Wicked Lambs, who’s clearly in love with Lucas. Despite horny band mates and a persistent gorgeous rock goddess determined to sink her claws into Lucas, Sienna stays by his side.

Then the threats start.

Lucas’s ex-wife Sam isn’t happy that he’s moved on, and Sam begins harassing Sienna—everything from threatening emails to phone calls and even fake accounts on Your Toxic Sequel message boards slamming her and spreading vicious rumors. Sienna keeps this from Lucas since she knows how bad Sam is for his music.

It’s not until Sienna is attacked by a crazed YTS fan hired by Sam, and Sam starts to aim her verbal threats at Sienna’s grandmother, that Lucas finally reveals his secret. And it’s a big one...

Almost 4 'Because of Lucas' Stars.
(probably more like 3.5 *I feel a bit sad* stars)

Consumed is the conclusion to Lucas and Sienna's story. We finally get the answers we've been waiting for.....

Sienna owes Lucas 2 days from their agreement. She commits to this but will she commit to anything more??? Will she go on tour with him??? Will his ex-wife or Cilla ruin their happiness....??? What is Lucas Wolfe's big secret??? The answers are all in Consumed!!!

"...you come along and make me need you."

I was so looking forward to this book, it had been a long time coming.... But I'm sad to say, for me, it was missing some epic book sparkle. Lucas Wolfe was one of my first book boyfriends and a memorable one.... I wanted and expected more.

The feelings
I don't think I've ever felt more conflict within myself for a book, on the one hand I loved it.... The sentiment of the story... Still lovely. Their relationship... Beautiful. Love the dynamic between the characters, their loving action, and I simply adore Lucas Wolfe..... *He makes me smile with his words and actions*

"I'm going to lick and taste..." Mmmmm, delicious!!
"I want you everywhere, everyway."

It's just that I found so much monotony in the story; it felt like we were going over the same old ground....

The Secret....
What will his secret reveal? Could it shatter their lives?? His reputation? Would there be any recovery from it?

"It's just a matter of time before he crashes and you go down with him."
"Have you asked what he's keeping from you?"

His secret and the way it plays out is....???? Disappointing, if I'm honest. Disappointing in the way characters react to it and the final outcome... The way everything concluded showed me that in book world anything is possible....... In the end, for me, it was too tidy, maybe too contrived????

I can't say anymore without spoiling it. In my opinion, All Over You, Devoured and Consumed would have worked far better as one book with the addition of Absorbed as a novella.

***

♥ On a positive note, I enjoyed reconnecting with Lucas Wolfe, still love him, and Sienna, and the series as a whole. I needed to see their story through to the end and although it wasn't as epic as I expected, they still gave me some gorgeous moments that made me smile and swoon, a book well worth reading.
Enjoy Lucas Wolfe ♥

P.S. One thing is absolutely certain I want MORE of the other characters in this series!!!!! PLEASE!!! Especially Sinjin!! Love him ♥

The continuing story of Lucas and Sienna. They've tried to be together twice now and Lucas' ex's and his secret have kept them apart. Does Lucas love Sienna enough to trust her with his secret and can Sienna put up with Lucas' ex's and their abuse while living the life of a rock star's girlfriend?

Likes:

"Lucas-Fucking-Wolfe" ...'nuff said.

• Definitely hot stuff between Lucas and Sienna and I just love how much she affects him!

• Love when Lucas calls her "Red"

• I really like Kylie...seriously have to read her book!

• Sinjin and Cal and Wyatt...Wow! I really enjoyed these three in this book and I. Need. More! I saw there will be a second book for Wyatt and Kylie. Now we just need a Sinjin book!

• Loved having both POV's.

• I really admire Lucas' and Kylie's relationship. I just wish we had more of an in depth view.

• The Epilogue and what Lucas did with the last song.

description

Dislikes:

• After such a long wait, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I missed the intensity between Lucas and Sienna after things got more involved.

• And I wanted more! The book was just too short and I gobbled it down in one day...even with trying to go slow!

Lucas still keeping his secret!

• Both Sam and Cilla were a bit too much! And I didn't feel we get any resolution with Cilla.

• The "secret" wasn't anything I thought it would be!

• Had a feeling Sam might do what she did but didn't expect the reason.

• I felt like Lucas left Sienna hanging a lot and thank goodness for the other guys picking up the slack and looking out for her.

• I expected more romance out of Lucas.

• And I didn't like how he just left her alone after what happened in the parking garage.

Overall:

I was thrilled to finally read this book! I really enjoy Lucas and Sienna and am wishing-on-a-star for another book. It seems like there is more story for those two. But I wouldn't mind a story about Sinjin either. After all, beggars can't be choosers! ;)

ღ "You’ve worked your way into my goddamn head, into my soul and everything else.”

ღ “Because you couldn’t keep those hands of yours out of my fucking hair the last time I had you to myself.”

TEASER!!!

From Emily Snow's FB Page <3

-------
“You look like you’re up to no fucking good, Red,” I drawl, coming up behind her. She gasps and spins around to face me, her long fingers balled into fists. I grab her bare waist, and she gives me a scowl as I splay my hands out on the smooth, damp skin.

“Thanks for scaring the crap out of me,” she breathes.

I can’t resist grinning. I know better, but even flustered, Sienna’s a fucking sight. She leans back against the side of the bus. Strands of red hair cling to her neck, to her shoulders, and to her tits, which are teasing me through that sorry excuse for a bikini.

“That fucking top needs to go,” I growl.

“The bus is currently”—she glances behind her, at one of the tinted windows—“occupied by Sinjin.”

“And here I am with noble intentions.” When she cocks one of her eyebrows, I add, “Believe me, every time you move I want to fuck you, Sienna. Unfortunately, I’m not the only one thinking that. The roadies can’t stop watching you.”

Her blue eyes widen, and she crosses her arms over her chest. If she thinks that’ll help she’s fucking wrong. It just makes her more irresistible. She needs a bigger top. Or a goddamn T-shirt. Or just me, covering her up.

Fuck.

Ignoring what her mere presence is doing to my cock—at least for the time being—I start to pull my black tee over my head. She stops me, placing her left hand over my forearm.

“What are you doing, Lucas?” She doesn’t unclench her other hand, and I think nothing of it.

I think of nothing but her and me on that bus.

“You’re killing me,” I tell her in a low voice. She responds by pressing her body up against mine and digging her left hand into the fabric of my shirt. This all feels new for me—loving someone and giving a shit about the future of my relationship—but I know that she’s what’s right. And that the past couple weeks without Sam’s demands have been the best in my life. “I need you.”

Squeezing her eyes shut, she lets her head fall back. Her neck is completely exposed to me, and I seize the moment, digging into my pocket—I live for the perfect opportunity.

“I hate when you say things like that because—” she starts, but then she goes still, every inch of her long body suddenly taut. “We’re in public, Lucas,” she finally says through gritted teeth, lowering her chin so that she can focus her blue eyes on the smooth guitar pick I’m trailing between her tits.

“Don’t clench your teeth, Si,” I warn.

Well Holy Hell Batman, the unthinkable has happened. It appears to be live http://www.amazon.com/Consumed-Emily-.... It is only 176 pages long, and is being released by Emily Snow and not her publisher, but it is now only $3.99. I may give in and read it. Absorbed is free on her blog, read it first if you decide to read Consumed.

4 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well I am very happy to say that I was able to devour the book I've been waiting to read for over a year, and I was consumed for a few hours. I think it was a lot shorter then I could have been, with so many mistakes like wrong and missing words but all in all it was Lucas-fucking-Wolfe and I can't say I didn't enjoy it. I am glad I decided to read Consumed, I am an avid romance reader and a big supporter of self published authors, I just hate being made to feel like an author is jerking readers around. I don't understand why a book would be pushed back so many times and be released with half as many pages, so essentially half the story as was listed in the description the author originally put out there, but I did enjoy was was released. I think we are all going to want to know what happens next, a longer epilogue or more of the story can be told and of course I will be one of those who will be ready to read all about what happens next.

I'm done, I'm out. I don't think there is an acceptable reason to delay a book an entire year, now it is looking more like 18 months. Seriously Emily Snow should fire her awesome new publisher because as it stands none of her fans are going to give a shit about her books when they finally do get released. I cancelled my Amazon pre-order tonight and don't plan on reading Consumed, if it ever is released.

9/17/2013. Seriously???

I just received an email from Amazon stating that this book has been pushed back yet again! I think it is absolutely absurd that a book that was originally slated for a Dec. 25, 2012 release and has been pushed back several times, is yet again pushed. So happy for you Emily Snow, yeah, you got a publishing deal... Woo hoo!, You keep treating your readers like this and we won't read your books! I am strongly considering canceling my Pre-purchase. I had all of my friends read your book, not sure I will do that again. Better be a damn good book, you will have to step it up!

Nevermind my "It's live comment" below...
It's already been taken down by the publisher.

Holyyyy sheeeyit! It's LIVE!!!
I can't believe I just changed from "To Read" to "Currently Reading"

Previous Comment:
I CALL BULLSHIT. This book's NEVER gonna be released.
Even if it is, I'm not buying it. Ms. Snow told all of us months ago that she "hit publish" repeatedly and for "some reason unbeknownst to her" was not going live..... Then we were told she's getting the rights back. Next it was she was DNF "whatever she could to clear up the issue with Amazon" (this was the beginning of Novemebr).... So needless to say, i don't think this book will ever go live. Emily Snow should have stepped up & been honest with her readers instead of the BS that was spewed for weeks on end.

DELAYED AGAIN!!!
Seriously , WHAT THE FUCK?!??!?
Total fucking bullshit.
Can someone please explain to me how and the hell does a book get repeatedly delayed?? I'm glad I didn't pre-order this & I'll be honest, I haven't decided if I'm gonna read when and IF it really ever comes out.

Between repeated book delays and charging double for books I'm thinking of sticking with indie authors.

Prior Release dates:
Dec 25
Jan15
Unknown release date
Summer 2013 release date
Sept 17
Now Oct 15?!?! Will we ever get to read this book?!?
No, I don't think we'll ever have this book & it's bullshit. I contacted amazon to cancel my pre-order.
New release date per Amazon, NOV FUCKING 1st.
The real question is....... Will this book be released in 2013?!?

Current release date?!? There isn't one. Amazon had it listed as JUNE 2014, however it's been taken down from the website & isn't even available for pre-order. Looks like us Lucas Lovers will never get their story.

3 STARS

I waited for this book to come out for sooo long, was beyond ecstatic the day it came out only…

description

The book was too short and the conflict resolution was weak! I was looking forward to see what Sam held over Lucas and when it was revealed, I thought this is interesting and could not wait to see what will unravel next. Unfortunately the way it was resolved was too 'easy', unbelievable and so not in keeping with the character at all. The story was too rushed and lackluster.

It wasn’t all bad, there were things I enjoyed mainly Sinjin, I am so looking forward to his story, the banter between him and Sienna had me smiling every time they got together. Lucas was amazing, loved how he loved Red (Sienna) whom I thought seemed much stronger and more sure of herself in Consumed. I just would have loved more interaction between Lucas and Red and them having more time with each other. I needed to feel more connection, whether me with the characters or between the characters themselves, this was sadly lacking.

This book just emphasizes the point that not all stories need to be told in series, some can be told in one long well written novel.

1/11/14: Well I guess it is a good thing that I bought this when I did because it was pulled from Amazon after being up for less than a week. It is still up for purchase on her blog but she states on the Your Toxic Sequel Support Group facebook page that she will be pulling it from there after the weekend "until everything is resolved" whatever that means. Anyone know what "everything" is? Is she still having issues with her former publisher? She posted on 1/9/14 on the same facebook page that Devoured #3 Sinjin's book will be out "in the spring". Ummm, I am not going to be holding my breath for that one.
Consumed's goodreads rating is currently 4.13

1/4/13: 2.5 Stars. Well hmmm. It was just, OK. That is about it. I purchased the book from a link on Snow's blog as it was not yet available on Amazon. But, it was an e-pub file and I could not read it on my Kindle. Well after trying for over an hour to convert it I read in the book's facebook fan page that many where having issues and that if you emailed Snow she would send it to you in Kindle format. I did so and luckily Snow was able to send me the book with in 10 minuets of sending my email.
I do have to wonder if this was the book that we waited over a year for. Snow had previously stated that the book was 300+ pages and the goodreads description states that it is 320 pages long. But the published book is a mere 176 pages long. Plus, I am curious to know why a book that was pushed many, many times supposedly for "editing" had so many spelling and grammatical errors. Too many to count. I think that it was rather anticlimactic after all the drama with the wait of being published. I saw Lucas's "secret" coming a mile away and figured that was what it was all along and even that other characters where involved the way they where. I think that I even said this is what it had to be in one of the discussion groups. The end also felt rushed. We literally don't find out the "big secret" until 86% and then it feels like filler to the end since we all knew that it would have a HEA. I definitely am wondering if this is the book that she has been sitting on for over a year as I am not convinced, especially after reading it, that she didn't only finish writing it within the last couple of weeks. Also, I can't put my finger on it right now and will have to dig through some of the other books I have read but is reads very similar to something I have already read. I am not calling her a plagiarist at all, this just feels so familiar. Maybe it is just another rock star story, wash, rinse and repeat. I think I am almost as anxious to see what others say about the book and how many people actually do buy it and read it. The current goodreads rating is 4.16
I am hoping that Snow uses this as a lesson in the future when it comes to putting her books out there. This has been a hot mess and it was all her doing.

1/2/14: Well finally published and am getting to read. If I wasn't so excited to find out the conclusion I might have given up. But I guess better 1 year and 1 week late than never.

12/31/13: Well Christmas came and went and all we got of this book was the first 2 chapters on her blog. I guess "the plan" just didn't work out. Surprised? No, how could I be? Now the day is tick, tick, ticking out of time and still no Lucas as promised. And no official word from Snow on her blog or facebook. Again, surprised? No, how could be? I didn't even bother with reading the 1st two chapters - I want the whole f'n book! But alas, I have a strong feeling that the 19th release date will come and go with no book and no word from Snow except excuses for not publishing and possibly yet another projected release date by the fabled author who cried publish.

12/22/12: Whaaaa? Snow responded "that's the plan" to a follower's post on facebook yesterday asking if Consumed would be published before Christmas. I think that she is going for the record on how many times one author can change the release date of a book - She is up to 18. But, she has made no official postings, either on her blog or facebook, regarding the move up of expected publishing. I will say it again - I will believe it when it shows up on my Kindle.

12/9/13: O' Lookie! We have an update on the blog-

Hi everyone! I know there hasn't been an update since late November, so I wanted to make a quick post and let everyone know that I'm working hard to get everything resolved so you can still get Consumed this year (that's not a promise but me being very, very hopeful).

Goodreads has December 31, 2013 listed as the new release date. Really, that is only 371 days from the original release date and the 17th posted release date. Sorry for the snark but I hope that no one's New Year's Resolution is to have Lucas on the 1st even though she is very, very hopeful. Though we can dream about it......

12/2/13: Crickets on Snow's end, no update since 11/20/13. Still no Lucas. But I do know she is behind 4 episodes on the Walking Dead because she posted it on facebook. Has anyone even been lucky enough to receive and ARC copy? She continues to not approve comments to entries on her blog and I find it difficult to believe that no one has tried to leave a comment. Hmmmm.

OK, so here is a recap of "release dates"

The last several dates obtained from her blog, facebook page and Amazon.

11/26/13: If I wasn't so desperate to find out the conclusion of the cliffhanger this would almost be comical. This is now posted above here on goodreads- "publication: June 3rd 2014 by Self-Published" I am beginning to wonder if this book actually exists.

1/24/13: Surprise, surprise, still no Lucas. And so much for keeping her fans updated with "frequent updates". No blog posts since the 20th in which she stated that she is still working on getting the rights back and that it was taking longer than expected. I think that this shows her naivety in the whole process of canceling a contract with a major publisher. I also find it interesting that there are no "comments" to her blog posts since 10/31/13. She has to approve every comment and you know that there are people trying to comment so why is she not allowing it? I am also not understanding why people are so quick to lay blame on her soon to be former publisher. I honestly think that the blame lies with Snow herself. I just can't see why Touchstone would postpone over and over a book that was already complete when they signed her in January of this year. It just doesn't make financial since for them to postpone over and over and over all the while pissing readers off. There had to be some reason on Snow's end. I am now thinking that she didn't start the process of reclaiming the rights to the book until the end of October. And if this is correct, it further shows how naïve she really is. Somebody said that though she has not posted another post on facebook she did respond with a comment to someone's question about a release date. Evidentially she is now saying that she is SURE that she will have it published by the end of the month. I defiantly would put any money on that since the end of the month is only 6 days away. But that is pretty par for the course for her - she is either overly optimistic or extremely evasive about the release when it is asked.
I also want to know why it says here on goodreads "Published November 2013 by Self-Published (first published September 17th 2013)". Uh, I thought that was the whole issue with people being pissed off because it HAD NOT been published much less a 1st printing on September 17.

11/18/13: Well despite saying to stay tuned to her blog for more frequent updates over the weekend, nothing further was posted. Amazon's page for Consumed says that it is "currently unavailable". I really can't tell if my pre-order was canceled. It is still showing up under my open orders but does not say "pre-ordered" like the others do. B&N has only the paperback for pre-order with a release date of 4/1/14. It has a price of $9.87. It has been a long time since I have bought a dead tree book but that seems like a lot. This goodread's page states "Published November 2013 by Self-Published (first published September 17th 2013)". I am thinking NOT! Her facebook page shows that she has a new cover for it though. Call me crazy but I personally think that the old cover was just fine and would rather her publish the book instead of developing new covers.......

11/16/13: Well, "this week" has come to an end and Snow has yet to go live with Consumed as promised. Am I surprised? No. Today she posted on her blog as an edit of her 11/10 post: "EDITED SATURDAY @6:42 AM: Quick Update: Working my hardest to get this book LIVE ASAP. Stay tuned for more frequent updates over this weekend, guys.". Quit saying that it is going live ASAP and making promises you can not honor. Do you not see, by being the author that called publish too many times, you are pissing readers off? She would be better off by just saying "listen guys, I am doing my best to get this book published but I have no way of knowing when that will be.".

11/13/13: Well Lucas is still a no-show. I also just noticed that the paperback version on Amazon states that it will be released on 4/1/14. What is up with that? Kindle version still states auto delivery on 6/1/14.

11/10/13 12:38pm: What did I tell ya. So, she just responded on facebook in response to someone else's post asking about the Amazon preorder link for the book. She states "That won't be the link that the book will be available from once it goes live this week". And then at 5am she made a blog post that says "And the final update before posting LIVE!" saying that it "will be going live this week". So what happened to the book releasing on Sunday (today)? It is now "this week"? Why does she keep giving dates if she doesn't know when she will legally be able to release it? So, with this change today it will be 12 different stated release dates. It is obvious that she is clueless in regards to the situation. Honestly, I need to just get over it, it has lost it's shine. It will be out when it is out. Maybe.

11/10/13 12:50am: *Tapping Foot* I know that it is only 50 minuets into the 10th but I don't have a good feeling about this book actually coming out today. But, can anyone blame me? We are sitting at 289 days since the book was supposed to be released. She has said absolutely nothing on her blog since the 4th and on facebook since the 7th. I know I am being overly dramatic about this book but damn, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SECRET HE IS HIDING! Can anyone even remember what Devoured was about? Snow needs to shit or get off the pot, quit stringing your readers along - the ones you still have because by reading the goodreads comments they are dwindling with each passing faux "release day" you post. Hopefully I will be eating my words later today!

11/8/13: I was wondering. I know that it might be more difficult to get Amazon to change the release date from 6/3/14 to her "current" release date but why does it say 6/4/13 here on goodreads? Are those dates not put in by the author?

11/7/13: Guess what! We have the 11th release date for Consumed! November 10th. Once again not holding my breath.

11/4/13: SURPRISE! No, not really. Well the weekend came and went and still no Lucas. Thinking that Amazon's 6/14 release date is true, lol. Emily posted on her blog this afternoon that the book is not yet LIVE but I promise that as soon as I am allowed to make it available to you I will, blah, blah, blah. There's unfortunately quite a bit of red tape involved with taking the rights to the book back, blah, blah, blah. At least she didn't say the book will definitely be out on xyz date. I am almost willing to bet that my updates will be longer than the actual review for the book if and when it comes out, lol.

11/3/13: Emily posted on facebook this morning that there was no new news and that when she could move forward she would let everyone know. Why can't she just say that she does not know when she will publish this book? Really, I think that her readers, especially the ones that pre-ordered this book, would respect her more for her honesty. Quit putting up dates or saying tomorrow, this weekend, etc if you really don't know!

11/1/13: Whatever. I am not holding my breath that it will come this weekend. Snow has listed the following dates for her release of this book:
December 25, 2012
January 15, 2013
Unknown release date was posted in January of 2013

Well, it is November 1st and she is stating that she is "very hopeful" that she can put it up this weekend. Honestly this is just ridiculous and unprofessional whether it is Snow or her publisher stringing readers along for almost a year. BIG FAIL!

10/23/13: Is anyone holding their breath for November 1st? I'm not. If it got pushed AGAIN, after being pushed a whopping 6 times, it would not surprise me in the least. And with no word from her publishing company or Snow herself, I am thinking that she is doing a disservice to her readers. I would be curious to know how many people have cancelled their pre-orders.

9/20/13: UGGGGGG!
So over the wait! Why, even taking into consideration that it was picked up by a publisher, did this book need a FULL YEAR to be released after the original release date? And why, just DAYS before the latest release date did it get pushed back another month? I think that it is totally awesome that so many self published writers are getting picked up by publishing companies but they are going to have to start taking their readers into consideration with the never ending delays - cause they will end up loosing them. Really? A full year? This book better be gold plated!

11/11/13: UGGGG! BUMMER!

4 stars for the whole series, 3.5 stars for this book!

This was supposed to be 320-page or so follow-up to Devoured. As it turns out, we only get a half or so of that, around 175 pages, I think. So that in itself was a letdown. I had so many questions I want answered and I want them all answered here. Well, they did...most of them actually. But was I satisfied? Fuck no!

We did find out about Lucas's big secret. I guessed it but I was only half right. I had to admit, I didn't understand why it was dragged out and then after we find out the big secret, the real culprit just admitted to the whole thing. No harm. No foul. WTF?

It was totally anticlimactic. I couldn't believe how easily it was resolved. And the Cilla thing was teased from the very beginning and the nothing really happened there either.

Yet in spite of those things, I did love Sienna and Lucas in this book. They both grew up and are actually trying to have a semblance of a healthy relationship. I also loved the side characters, the other band members and the potential stories they might have in the future. Those were the things I enjoyed the most.

Oh well. Closure is closure. Whether I agree with how it was handled or not, at least Lucas and Sienna has finally gotten their happily ever after. ♥

4 “Consuming” Stars!
Amazing Finale to A Great Series!

The Review:
I put this read off for a while, mostly because when I read Devoured, I was left wanting. The story started off really well and I instantly loved Lucas and Sienna and I also loved the idea of what was to come, but for me, it left off with too many questions and not enough story. At the time, there wasn’t enough of a back story to make sense of what was happening in Devoured. But thankfully, this author went back to tell the beginning with an AMAZING novella and dual POV in All Over You and then gave us another fantastic novella with Lucas’s POV in Absorbed and then gave us this brilliant addition with a fantastic, sexy story to tie it all together (in dual POV’s of course!).

Re-reading the entire series, in order, I finally got all the answers I wanted. Combined with MORE I was craving... more sexy-hot scenes, a riveting, solid story and a more intense connection between the hero and heroine that was about romance and love and not just lust... all this combined gave me what I was hoping for when I started this series. There was mystery, hot-alpha male action and more interaction with the band and sub characters.

I loved that there were some really angsty, heartbreaking and heartwarming POV’s from both “Lucas-Fucking Wolf” and Sienna. Really getting inside Lucas’s head while he pined and lusted after Sienna was thrilling and exciting. I enjoyed seeing how he truly felt about her versus the indifferent air he cast off in the first book. The author did a brilliant job sorting out his thoughts and emotions.

And Sienna? Her character was perfect! I enjoyed watching her find herself. She ends on a completely different note than she started. Her strength and determination and love for Lucas, after everything they’d been through together, was fun to read, especially when she stood up for herself.

I also really enjoyed the other characters from the band as well as the awesome BFF dialogue. It was entertaining watching the brother/sister interactions between Lucas and Kylie and Sienna and Seth. This was missing in the first installment and I think it really added something “more” to the story in this book. There were little side stories going on with the band members, keeping the story going forward and filling in any little pockets of down time between our hero and heroine.

The ending and the Epilogue were amazing! Lucas’s secret is revealed and though it was a little predictable, I loved the twist the author gives us! Well played Emily Snow!

The Wrap Up:
All the books combined, make this a fantastic read and I’d give the whole series four huge stars! Lucas was hot and swoony and Sienna was sweet and fun. And that last paragraph? Absolute perfection!

CONSUMED IS FINALLY LIVE AGAIN!!!

Hey everyone! I know a lot of you have been waiting on a CONSUMED update—for those of you who don’t know, it was temporarily available in January but had to be pulled while a few issues were resolved. I've been working hard on getting it back up, which was the reason behind the WRECKED delay - I wanted CONSUMED to be up for everyone who's waited so patiently before I released another novel. And I appreciate that patience. So. Very. Much. I know that it's been a long wait for this book, but I sincerely thank everyone who has supported the DEVOURED series and Lucas and Sienna’s story.
I found out very, very recently (this week) that I was finally going to be able to put CONSUMED back up, and I hit publish this morning. So far it's LIVE on Amazon and KOBO, but I also published to Barnes & Noble and iTunes. As soon as the links go live, I’ll edit this post to update it here, too.

Once again, thanks guys. You all rock my world!

Well I will say this one was better than the first... I just really hate drama for the sake of drama and this book was full of that.

Lucas is determined to prove to Sienna that his feelings are real. So he invites her on tour with him working on wardrobe. Sienna accepts of course but soon finds that it's not all fun and games. Fans are dead serious about their love for Lucas, and that's not even including the lead singer of their tour mates. Throw in a crazy ex-wife and man, this tour rocks!

I will say that I liked Sienna more in this one. She stood her ground a little more and wasn't such a push over. Although, when she started getting threatening notes from Lucas's ex, she should have told him. Communication is key people! I say it all the time but I guess there wouldn't be a book if people were smart.

As for Lucas, eh, he's just okay. He doesn't make me all swoony. In the first book I just thought he was an asshat, while he's still very neanderthal here, I guess he's toned down his assholeness. But again, communication is not his thing either and of course keeping secrets is never a good thing.

This book seemed to be building up to a climatic ending that never came. The resolution was very weak and also very out of character that it just left me rolling my eyes. All in all, a mediocre romance series. Not horrible, but not great either.

If I had to describe this book in a word it would be "underwhelming". Really it just didn't do it for me. Si had no backbone. Lucas kept the secret from her, yet again. The huge secret comes out finally at like 86%. Why stay with a man that is keeping a huge secret that involves another woman so long?

I just didn't buy the story.
I know some people have been waiting on this book a long time and have been frustrated with the wait, but really y'all are not missing much.

2/4/14 Finally decided to read this and its no longer available. WTF.

1/15/14 Apparently this came out New Year's Eve. I deleted my Facebook page the weekend before and missed the memo. I still haven't read it. Not in the mood to pay for it just yet. I'm still pissed about the run around. I've also heard its half the length it was supposed to be. I'll read it eventually and posh my thoughts but not any time soon.

12/15/13 I'm sure you can all guess what I'm going to say...NO BOOK! Snow posted on her website blog on the 9th that she's still working on getting it out this year but made sure to note that wasn't a promise, just hopeful thinking. She still has not updated her FB fan page since November 20th. She's posting a bunch of nothingness on her personal FB. And apparently, she's addicted to Pinterest which is taking up a lot of her time. My updates are getting pointless as of this point. Check in with y'all later this month. Maybe we can get a Christmas miracle...but I doubt it.

12/4/13 Well...well...well. We've made it to December and there still is no book. She hasn't posted on her blog since November 20. Her website still lists October 13 as the release date with bad links to preorder the books. Her fan page on Facebook has not been updated since November 20 either. She posts several times a day on her personal Facebook page though. Claims to still be waiting on everything to be resolved and is working on a new book in the meantime. But no worries, we won't get that until Consumed is actually available. A comment on that same post in response to a fan says that it will be "this year". I don't know about anyone else, but my calendar is running out of days for 2013. If it comes out before January then she'll only be a year late from the original publish date she set many, many moons ago. Stay tuned for another update from Consumed Watch 2013...before the year is over. (See what I did there???)

11/19/13 It goes without saying but there is no book today. My post today is in reference to the craziness that is overtaking Snow's Facebook page at the moment. These chicks are attacking each other. Here's the thing, I don't care whether you like her or hate her. The point is there is no book and we've been continuously promised a book. She's not doing this for free out of the goodness of her heart. She's making money off of us. We have a right to be angry over it. This is a supply and demand world we live in. There is an extremely high demand and absolutely no supply. I want to read the book and once it comes out, I will. But I'm going to have to pay for it so I'm going to go ahead and be pissed that we're still waiting and getting lied to.

11/18/13 Still no book. And now it has been removed from B&N and Amazon. It's never going to be released. We're all left wondering what happened when Lucas-Fucking-Wolfe goes on tour. Does Sienna go with him? Does Sam finally get her comeuppance? How are things between Kylie and Wyatt now that they are married? Just what is the secret from Lucas' past that Sam knows and he's scared the world will find out? Will Sinjin stay clean? And what is up with his therapist's daughter? Create your own ending folks because the one she wrote may never be read!

11/15/13 Snow posted on her blog last Sunday that it would be going live this week. It's 9am Friday and still no book. I had actually forgotten about it. I decided to move on and read other books posted on time but Devoured was just suggested to me on B&N so I decided to check out the latest. Nothing new it seems. At least she's consistent.

11/4/13 Still not released and now there is no known release date. Only that it won't be June 2014. What the hell ever!

11/1/13 ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS BULL$#!£?!?!?!? Pushed back again. I'm over this.

10/13/13 New release date is 11/1/13... maybe... probably not.

Review 1/6/14

BotW1/13

Sooo this was.. well.. I honestly don't know.
I guess the best thing I can say about this is, it gave me closure on Lucas and Sienna's story.
But it left me wondering plenty - and about the story or it's character. No about the author, the publishing world and mostly why?

Then it also made me question about my rather awkward relation ship I have with the romance genre. It rather a love-hate thing me and romance novels have going on reading consumed gave me closure on that as well. Definitely an achievement- something all those romance novels I read before hadn't managed to do. I realised while I was reading this, that I am just particular, not just when it comes to romance novel, I am the same with other novels. But when it comes to romance novels I judge the book mostly by character building. So if I love the character building- I most likely will like the book. The fact that I like the writing style is a given, since that's the most important part of a book for me. When it comes to plot, i loath insta-love, don't like the one and only theme and am allergic to the tedious love triangle.... but if the plot is alright, the character building is great - I will like the book.
Now you must wonder why I blabber on about this? Well because those are the reasons why I liked Devoured...
Let's face it; Snow knows how to write. I love the way she writes. And while some of the smut scene, were uhm not my scenes, they are undeniable hot!
BUT after finishing Consumed, I can't say that I didn't like it. I wasn't in awe either. It just was. I don't know! And thats the crux.
The character building is not shabby- but there was no growth for either Lucas or Sienna.
I should add that this is written from Lucas's and Sienna's POV. And their voices are extremely distinctive. As I said, there is no doubt that Snow is a good writer. I love Lucas's POV! Seriously love them!

The plot was ok- well to be honest I kinda was bored in the middle and needed a break.
There was this super drama at about 90% - we finally heard the BIG secret. And then, it was all solved and over... Basically not much happened
I am one of these people who waited for the release of this book. Checked every week if it actually is finally out. Bought it on release day. And well, I feel a bit let down.
I don't feel that there was much gained by the sequel. I don't know why there was a sequel. I mean its not even 200pages. So like a few times in the last few months I am wondering why Devoured wasn't a stand-alone?! Why write a sequel at all? Why not finish Devoured, with a bit more closure than it was done? I am not even going to mention the continuous postponement of release date. But honestly this could have been avoided by not doing a sequel that doesn't do much for me...

Saying this- I think loads of people will love it. It does have some mooshy lovey bits, good smut and an ending that most adore.
I personally feel Snow could have done better. And I expected way more. Which left me wafering between ok and good - literally. So I guess this should be 2,5Stars. But you see... I just don't know! 2 Stars seem kinda harsh. It is well written after all. BUT 3Stars... well I as I said I just don't know.

Will I read more of Snow? You bet!

We have all been waiting a long time for Lucas and Si's conclusion. From the moment I picked up Devoured I was hooked on Lucas's dominating bad boy persona. After reading the serial Absorbed I couldn't wait to get my hands on Consumed. As you know there is a lingering secret that Lucas's ex-wife Sam holds over his head. And boy did I want to know what it could be that would make him push away true love like he did.

This book starts out literally where Absorbed ended. Lucas has made a video for Sienna call "Ten Days" to apologize and he's gone to win back his girl. But he's worried and tormented. As much as he wants to believe that he has "handled" the situation with Sam for the final time he wonders if she will truly be done or if she will keep up her games, and hurt the one woman that he loves.

As you move through the book you get that perfect mix of love, anger, lust, mistrust and angst! The heat in the bedroom is undeniable but Sienna's thoughts are still consumed and concerned that Lucas's secret is far from buried and that the power that Sam holds over him with undo them again. But Sam isn't the only one that Si has to worry about. Cilla is on tour with YTS and things are bound to get ugly!

The push and pull between these two is just as powerful as it was in Devoured. I don't think I could have seen this story going any other direction then what it did. Often sequels don't live up to the hype and expectations. Well that is NOT the case with Consumed. Emily does a beautiful job finishing out Lucas & Sienna's story all while weaving in the other key players. We get a lot of dialog from Sinjin, in this book. I'm pumped to read his story. Of course don't forget Kylie and Wyatt... If you read Absorbed you know what those two have been up to and I was so glad to see a little more of them in this story. Emily does such a great job writing in the secondary characters and making you feel like they are just as important as the main characters, but not too much that they take over the book. It's a perfect balance.

The ending was... AWESOME! If not even a little jaw dropping shocking! I must say I never in a million years saw that coming! I think I re-read the last chapter twice to make sure that I read it right and then the Epilogue was simply perfect! It left me in a good place and of course as always wanting even more... I love these two and truly don't want to see them go... When an author can make you hang on and always want more you know you have a well written book and series. Can't wait for more from Emily Snow!

Lucas Lucas Lucas

After Lucas wins Sienna back, he still doesn't come clean! What's the whole point of this? Most of this book was spent with Sienna AND Lucas keeping secrets. He's still keeping secrets about Sam and now Sienna is keeping her own secrets.... about fucking Sam!

Sienna was freaking weak! She asked repeatedly for Lucas to tell her the story about Sam. And she let him slide every time

So she's on tour with You Toxic Sequel, they are having amazing sex, keeping secrets. Cilla keeps trying to boink Lucas. Luckily everyone is faithful. The main focus was on the "thing" Sam was holding over Lucas.

The big Sam reveal fell flat on its ass. All that build up to the end of the book and the story ends.

Now that Lucas has told Sienna how he feels he knows he can't go without her again. Inviting her along on tour with the band is the only way to keep her close, but it also exposes her to the lifestyle of being involved with a star and the good & bad that comes with it. Sienna agrees to go, although she has some obligations that will tear her away for a few days at a time. But she knows if they are ever going to make this work, they need to get past the secrets... now if only she could get Lucas to fess up to what he is so worried she'll find out.

With rabid groupies upset that Lucas is off the market and a few women who think they still lay some claim on the man, Sienna is pushed to her limits as she has to contend with the rumors and threats thrown her way. Unable to worry Lucas with her fears, she pushes them to the back of her mind while she tries to get closer to the man she loves and to get him to finally explain the hold his ex has on him.

But Lucas isn't ready to let her see that darkness, not yet... but some choices aren't his to make.

Screenshot_4

I was so excited when I was finally able to find this book and buy it that I knew that it was a drop everything and read it, kind of book. I was not let down by the book, although there were parts that I wished we got a bit more of throughout the story. I didn't need all the angst of a rock star with his girl on tour stuff and was pleased that the drama we did get was not related to the typical rock star reads. I think there were times when I wanted to experience more Sienna and Lucas just interacting outside of the bedroom, hotels and tour bus... I know that my connection to these two began in the first books, but I really wanted to be blown away by their love and instead I was left without those butterflies.

I did enjoy the twist and am hoping that in the mix of the stories in ES's head, that somewhere their is a Sin & Zoe book - I am a bit intrigued by his character and oddly enough found myself drawn to his part in this story.

I am glad that although there had appeared to have been some hiccups along the way, that Emily Snow is working on new projects and new stories for us readers. When your profession is all about being able to find that creativity to have those voices in your head come alive on the pages, hitting a point when those voices quiet, I am sure can be devastating. I can honestly say that this is one of those authors that is an instant one-click for me and I don't see that changing just because I have to be patient as she creates.

"3.5 stars"

I wouldn't lie if i say that i was waiting for this book mainly to know Lucas' SECRET.

But I had to wait till the end of the book to know it..which was okay with me but this book has taken so much time to publish that i had thought pretty much everything Lucas' secret could be..though it was a lil bit surprising the way it came out.

I'm not going to reveal the secret but it would've been better if Sienna or even Lucas has shown some more reaction..hell any reaction to it..it was kinda like 'Okay'..it happened..and then everything happened all at once and the book just completed in a rush.

As the book was in Lucas' POV too..we get to see things from his point too.I liked Lucas in this book more than the first one..apart from being his usual dominating, hot self..he was really trying to make everything okay for Sienna and him.

Sienna on the other hand..was being patient with everything going on..but i really liked that she has finally stopped being pushed over by others..I liked her casual banter with Sinjin.

Apparently Sam was still being a threat throughout the book and alongwith the plot of threats and bitchiness of Cilla (Wicked Lamb singer)..the book was a good read for me.

We get to read more of Sinjin too in this book..and I really liked him..sometimes even more than Lucas..^-^
