435-Farewell to Heaven-Di An-Novel-2005

Farewell to Heaven, was first published in 2005. It describes their lives from the personal perspectives of Song Tianyang, Jiang Dong, Xiao Qiang, and Zhou Lei, and recalls them in high school - the warm and stubborn Tianyang, the gorgeous and fragile Fang Khan, with a touch of Xiao Qiang, who doesn't taste too bad, Zhou Lei, who is simple and honest, and Jiang Dong, who is obviously more sensitive than anyone else but is ashamed to admit it. The novel reflects the author's various views on ideals and reality by showing the stories of Tian Yang and others in their youth.

Di An, born in Taiyuan, Shanxi in 1983, studied at the French Institute for Advanced Social Sciences. In 2005, he came to prominence with his feature-length debut "Farewell to Heaven". Representative work, "Dragon City Trilogy".

On the first page of the story, the protagonist's mother died of childbirth. Does the beginning of every story need an "orphan" background setting? In real life, there are probably very few real orphans, and there are probably many children from unhappy families of origin. In addition to the child's own personality, the family environment before the age of 18 is probably an important factor that causes the different personalities.

The author does not write himself, but he is also himself, especially the first novel of any author, more or less will use his own life experience as the material, take the people he knows as the blueprint, and learn from his own, or familiar with himself. In the family environment, learn from your own character and way of thinking. Probably for every writer, the first novel has a unique meaning, and the writer himself is hidden in a certain corner of the work.

People who work in hospitals are accustomed to birth, old age, sickness and death, and the impermanence of life. Birth and withering, these things originally seemed sacred, but they happened so many times that it was numbing and even a little absurd. People who are used to seeing this are no longer sensitive, and bystanders can't really empathize. And people who are in pain can only struggle alone. If they don't want to be optimistic, it may be difficult.

How can a person who wants to climb to a high position without external blessings be stupid? Even so, the probability is extremely small. The process of growth is the process of climbing to a high place, and to climb to a high place, it is inevitable to sacrifice something. Because learning new experiences comes at a price. If you want to take it, you must first give it. It is obviously ridiculous and naive to imagine that a person who is a lot taller than himself will fall from the sky and save his life. That's why we're so fascinated with seeing this kind of plot in a work of art, right? It is precisely because it is too rare in real life that it desires to be satisfied in the fantasy world.

From my own experience, self-awareness seems to be awakened around the age of 10. Then use this as a starting point to spread out and grow. When you are a teenager, you imagine being in your twenties, when you are in your twenties, you reminisce about your teens, and when you are in your thirties, you reminisce about your twenties. The existence of the future and the past makes people feel restless in the present. It is probably very difficult to live well in this moment, not miss or regret the past, and not look forward to the future.

There will always be some people and some events that can evoke the collective memories of an era. It may be a song, it may be a movie, it may be a venue, and it represents the similar youth of those people. After all, life is to move forward, even if it suddenly occurs in a certain early morning or a certain late night, and people are forcibly pulled back, but after all, there is no way to go back. Because what happened, after all, has already happened. When the two people today meet, they are no longer the two people they were then.

Farewell to youth. No physical pain, no financial burden, no psychological anxiety, maybe this kind of youth is paradise? Maybe a few people can heal their whole life with their teenage years? But I also suspect more cases or use a lifetime to cure teenagers. If so, how can the time of the underage age be called heaven?
