A well-written sensitive fanfic that made me cry. Angel Castiel nurses Dean back to health following brain damage. Eventually Dean starts to remember what led up to his injury. You need to be a hardcore Supernatural fan to understand the flashback sections.

Ghost Dance starts out disturbing as we sink into the mindset of a brain damaged Dean Winchester. To be honest, I was debating if I had the resolve to continue with the story. After all, Dean Winchester is a man larger than life, and nothing of the person we experience in the beginning.
I decided to move on.
Ghost Dance is about healing. Dean Winchester's very own angel, Castiel, is there from the very beginning. We learn of the events that resulted in this very outcome and experience how knowledge can be one's undoing.
This fanfiction definitely hurt to read, but in a good way. I haven't read anything from this author before, but the writing was definitely a delight to read. I will definitely have to browse through his/her other works.

May 27, 2013It was good, slightly different than usual. Of course, I was expecting something more, as always.
I really like the beginning, but then the story started to drag a little... Not the best Destiel fic out there, but definitely worth attention.

Everybody is so in-character that it took me by surprise. And the story is so sweet and horrifying at the same time that your heart will break.
