All the elements I like in a book are alive in this story. A strong woman, a troubled past, the fear she keeps hidden, her strong protective nature, as well as a touch of romance. Here is a World Champion boxer, with a man's name, Jake, who fights her demons in the boxing ring. I don't believe I've read a fiction story about a woman boxer before and I loved this one. The author made it believable and intriguing. I'll be looking for more books from this author!
