*Sitting in Stunned Awe*

*Trying to regain the ability to communicate*

I don't know if there are words enough to describe this series accurately. It's exactly what YA fantasy should be like, an amazing array of characters- so there is bound to be at least one that a reader can really identify with and love. It has a heavy helping of violence and touches upon adult themes, but I do not feel it's out of reach or too much for a younger audience.

The story so far has spanned across three amazing books, and keeps surprising me more with each one. There is always some elements that are a bit more predictable, but the ones that you don't see coming (like in this book) really warp your noodle. It can be more of a challenge to keep so many subplots and characters together to keep each book, and the series as a whole, cohesive. The Eden series, and Eden-South really succeeds with this task, and knocks it right out of the park.

Another absolutely stunning thing about these books, just when you've 'assigned' someone as a 'bad guy'- you've accepted it in your head and are ready to 'hate' that character... *BAM* Everything is turned on its head, and you feel for that 'bad' character. In the first book, I was so conflicted because I loved the 'bad' boy the most. This book cements that, and continues this practice with other 'bad guys'. Very rarely have I see this technique pulled off to the degree it is in these books. Except for Aziz, that man (or whatever he is) is a snake and I can't see anything redeeming him in my eyes.

One thing I noticed, a bit different with this, is although Aiden is a HUGE unifying character across the books, this particular book is not really his story. I would instead consider this to be Elisa's and another character's story (I don't want to define the other character, as I feel even that knowledge may be a bit of a spoiler and I wouldn't dream of hindering anyone's enjoyment of this installment of the series.) We still continue with many of the beloved characters and the tension between Wolf and Elisa is taken to an entirely new level.

If you've enjoyed the series so far, this part of it cannot be missed. It was my favorite thus far in the series. Run out as soon as it's available! It's a great book, and series, for older and YA audiences alike!

I received an ARC directly from the author. No compensation was received, and my thoughts on the book are entirely my own.

Eden-South by Janelle Stalder

Janelle Stalder has written yet another fantastic book in the Eden series. Eden-South is one of those books that once you start reading it you cannot for the life of you put down. If you enjoy fantasy novels I would say this is a series you need to pick up and read.

Janelle’s writing is truly amazing, she writes many different points of views, her plot and character descriptions are great the story flows so well that there is not a time you need to go back and make sure you didn’t miss anything. Janelle’s writing is flawless....and did I mention fantastic!

Eden-South has a lot going, the return of my favorite characters, and she has even given us a few new ones to meet and get to know. There is suspense, there are some of the OMG moments and of course there is a war in the works. This series is only getting better ............it sucks you in and you end up late for work because you didn’t get enough sleep the night before because you couldn’t stop reading this novel.

I am not a huge fantasy genre fan, but I am a huge fan of Janelle and her writing. Oh did I mention she is fellow Canadian ......anyway I started reading this series because of my friends and I have to say if I knew all fantasy novels were going to be like the Eden series I may actually read more fantasy novels. This is a series you need to pick up and read.

So Eden – South continues from where Eden-West has left off, there is so much going on you will be shocked to learn that Elisa is engaged to Markus! And where is Wolf...OMG moment!!! This is why you need to go read this book!! Eden-South is getting a 5 star rating from me, as it is one of those books that you don’t want to end. I just know there is so much more to come and now that I know the author I will try to send her messages to write faster and get us the next book out soon so I can see what happens next.

If you have not read Eden or Eden-West I suggest you go grab copies now and you are truly in for a great experience.

Wow! That is the first word that popped into my head after finishing up with Eden-South. And well that came after a lot of squeeing and gasping and happy dancing and a 'WTF JUST HAPPENED?' I just adored every moment of Eden-South. Last year when I sat down to read my good friend's book Eden I never imagined I would be thrown into this phenomenal world that would suck me in and never spit me back out because no matter how many other books I read I always remember this one. It just sticks into my brain. It is that good and Eden-South is the best one so far.

Aiden is back with his friends in Eden... but a war is brewing. Aiden, Elisa, Wolf and the gang are back in the third installment in the phenomenal Eden series but this time everything is falling apart. Elisa is set to be married to another man and Wolf is letting it happen (WTF?) and Aiden is shocked at the dramatic change in his group of close friends. Can he help them to pull it back together or are the destined to be apart?
Add to that the fact that the war round 3 is about to start but this time things are more dangerous that ever. Aziz has a secret weapon that nobody knows about... will he be able to finally gain control of Eden?
As things reach an unexpected climax nobody knows what is going to happen to Eden... but one thing is certain the war has only just begun and they have a long way to go.

My reaction just after I finished this book was holy crap... just when I thought things couldn't get better than Eden-West Janelle pulls that out of the bag. I was just completely blown away. This series just keeps getting better and better and I have no idea what could possibly happen next but I know it is going to be epic.

Elisa... Oh Elisa how much I wanted to slap some freaking sense into you! Girl... Wolf is right there... and it's WOLF for heaven's sake. Why on earth would you go with some creepy ass man over hot... sexy... mysterious... bad boy... drool-worthy WOLF! It just does not make sense. She irritated me to no end with this but hey I was so ready to take Wolf off her hands. I love Elisa so much. She is such an awesome kick-ass character but yeah... her decisions were just bat-shit crazy.

Wolf... Oh my wolf... I love you. I love you. I love you. I always loved Wolf from the start of book 1 even when he was being kind of an ass. Well Wolf definitely stepped up his game in this one and my insides just melted into a puddle at my feet. I love love love him. I have yet another book boyfriend that I wish was real. Everybody should read this series just to meet wolf.

What I adored about this book is that we got to meet some brand-new characters and we also 'met' a character that had only been mentioned not seen. Aziz... Oh Aziz... I genuinely loved seeing his world and what he was doing. I went from being hmm he's not too bad to absolutely despising him and wanting him to die. It was really great to see his side of things as well.

This was without a doubt the best book of the series so far and I genuinelly have no idea where the heck Janelle is going to go from here. Janelle is not only a great friend but a phenomenally talented author. I love her and I will read every single thing she writes. I can't wait for the next and final installment in the Eden series to see how everything plays out and cannot wait for it.

Eden-South is jam packed with heart-stopping action, eye-watering emotion and breathtaking romance. I love this series and I will definitely read it over and over again, it is without a doubt a must-read for everyone.

This book is definitely the most amazing and addictive book of the year. Couldn't think Janelle was able to best the two previous books, but this one is by far my favorite.

In the third book of the EDEN series the story picks up exactly where it stopped on the second one, and I mean exactly, like at the same moment. Aiden is back with his friens, hooray to that and they are getting ready to face Callum's army in the South. In the meantime Rain is starting her new life with Aziz, the mad sorcerer.

This book had it all. Dozens of moments that just made me swoon and smile.

Hot, steamy scenes.

And of course there is the war.

There were also a few surprises in Aziz lair. One of them being Elex, who I adored. And then there is this whole history of Aziz and Aiden seems to be tied with him too. Now, that was awesome. There is also Rain. I am not ashamed to say I hated the girl in the previous book but now she is my second favourite female of the story, after Elisa. I understand her need to try and make her own destiny, not wanted to be shadowed by the men of her clan, her need for power and knowledge. She is pretty amazing after all. And I can see that she is realising that Aziz is crazy and dangerous and not who she thought her was. I can totally see her turning good in the end.

This book also focused a lot on Wolf and Elisa, my favorite couple. I am really glad that their romance finally blossomed. I loved them when they fought and I love them even more when they don't. Oh, Wolf, you are my favorite boy of the whole story!

But it wasn't just them. Everyone got a spotlight in this book and some things were resolved. The war between Jameson and Callum finally came to an end. And let me tell you it was the perfect end. I saw it coming but it still made very happy. Now if they can just kill Aziz I could die happy.

Oh, and that ending. OMG Janelle do you want me to stalk you down for more answers. Aziz's plans never seize to amaze me.

All in all, excellent book, with an amazing storyline and beautiful writing. The world of Eden has become one my favorites and I don't know how I could bare to read the last book, I don't want this journey to be over.

I think this girls says it all.

LOVE THIS SERIES

Every book just keeps getting better and better.

One of my big questions with this series has been "Why Aiden? What makes him so special?", and I am finally coming to realise why. Little clues are starting to tie together nicely & I am starting to understand why & who he is.

I love all the different POV's. Normally I wouldn't be a fan but because there are so many other things going on in other parts of Eden with other characters and the transition's between them are so seamless they really help round out the story & keep the action moving nicely.

I think my absolute favorite thing about this series and this author is how she keeps altering my perception of good and evil. You can be inside the head of someone who has been set up as "the baddie" and totally end up falling for them & rooting for them. This happened for me previously with Callum & Brutus & In this book it happened again with Rain.

I can't wait for Eden-South but apparently I have to LOL

PS I will neither confirm or deny the vicious rumors that I shed a tear in public while reading this book.

Gaaa! So good! It was impossible to put this book down around the halfway point, and I ended up staying up way past my bedtime. I was so worried about the characters in one section that I literally read with my hand over my eyes while peeking through my fingers. Yes, it was that upsetting/good. (You'll definitely know what I'm talking about when you get to that part.)

The characters are still the draw to this series for me. Based on the first novel, I would have expected the series to focus on Aiden, but he's actually one of many characters that we follow and end up loving. Ms. Stalder does an excellent job of managing these many storylines/characters and knowing when to switch character viewpoints.

I lost even more sleep the night I finished Eden-South, because I then stayed awake pondering all of my theories about what will happen in the next book. I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to predict what will happen next, but it's fun to ruminate about the possibilities. There was a pretty big surprise near the end of this one. I can't wait for the next book!

Message to Aiden: I'm sorry I yelled at you. You know I love you, but you have the worst timing ever!!

This series really knocks my socks off. I just love everything about it. And guess what, it’s not sex charged. Ha! Funny enough most of the books I totally love aren’t. Anyway, this story give resolution to a lot of lingering questions, but it also brings something new.

What. A. Great. Ending. I loved it! (Okay not the cliffhanger part, I HATE cliffhanger endings... I'm in total denial about the cliffhanger ending)

I love the Eden series, and all the amazing characters/stories in it. Okay all but one... The Rain/Azyz/Elex story just annoys me... Rain annoys me, she's shallow and stupid. Azyz has a god complex and Elex reminds me way to much of Edward (Twilight)...
Their storyline was the reason this was a slow read, cause every peak into Rain's thoughts made me lose attention...

But other than that, I loved all the little stories in the complete tale.

Wolf and Elisa's love story is my fave. I'm a sucker for love that has to grow and (since I've personal experience) could detect the denial in a heartbeat. I love the bickering and the push-and-pull game.
my favorite part in the whole novel was when Wolf carried drunk Elisa back to her tent!

"Ow!" he cried out, mostly in surprise. She had pinched his butt!
"Don't tell me to be quiet," she replied, snickering again. A huge smile spread over his face. May the Gods help him, but he couldn't help but enjoy her like this. He lightly smacked her butt, letting his hand rest there.
"Watch it," he said warningly.
She started giggling again. "I am watching it, it's right in front of me." Her laughter filled the space around them, and he found himself shaking his head in exasperation with her.

But of course I cheered them on with the first real kiss, in the tent, right before the battle. And the ending was just perfect (still in denial about the cliffhanger).

But also the battle and the one-on-one fight sucked me into the story. I loved every single one of those characters, and I didn't want anyone to die! Normally I'm a huge fan of writers killing off their main characters, but dammit , I cried when Jamerson and Callum fought. I didn't want anyone to die. I needed Callum to live to see his lil one grow old, and Rose didn't deserve to lose her last piece of family. But Dianna and Jamerson finally had found each other again, and poor Elisa made my shed some tears when she broke down and hugged the king. So I didn't want either side to loose. And that's why the ending of the battle was just perfect!

Everyone lived happily ever after! Yay! (Denial!)

Janelle has again written a great masterpiece, with lovable characters and a great (though sometimes predictable) plot!

I got a copy for review in exchange for an honest review.

Eden South was simple amazing! An emotional read and full of action. So much is going and happening in this book that I simple wanted to keep reading.

The story picks up little after the second book ended. The story is really well done and kept me wanting to read more and more just to know what would happen. It is again full of action and most parts are fast paced. there is also the big battle where the whole book is working towards and I kept thinking it couldn't end well. I just had the feeling that any moment now a character I liked could be killed off.

The story is again told from multiple pov's even though most of the characters are at the same place in this book. I still really enjoyed reading the different pov's and the multiple point of views is still one of the things I love most about this book.. I especially loved Elisa and Wolf their pov's, there is so much emotion and after what happened in the last book I just had to know how they would deal with everything. There also is a new pov in this book, namely from Rain. I actually have to say I didn't really like her pov and it was one of the few things that mde me like this book a little less. Her behavior contradicted what she believed and I just didn't understand why she did half the things she did. Also I just didn't think she was a likeable character and I didn't care about her side of the story. I still read everything, but I just didn't like her and I didn't think her pov added that much to the story. And the things I wanted to understand about her never were really explained.

The world building doesn't progresses much, but there is enough going on and so much happening tha I didn't really mind this. We already know most about Eden, but still there are a few new things we learn. Also there is hinted at some things and I hope we finally learn more about that in the next book.

To conclude: I really love Eden-South. The story is amazing and full of action. I still really like the multiple point of views, although there was one point of view I didn't like. There isn't much world building in this book, but I didn't really mind as there is enough going on.

Janelle has done it yet again! Another amazing installment to the Eden series. Along with our returning cast of favourites, we are introduced to a mysterious new character that seems like he may become very important, very quickly.

"It wasn't until she felt a slight change in the air that she looked up to see him fall gracefully through he opening in the ceiling, his wings spread out in all their glory."

Sounds very promising right?

Of course, like the previous books, Janelle allows you a glimpse into all her characters' minds which allows you to see all sides of the war. I think my favourites to read about this time around were Elisa and Wolf. Did I get my happy ending? Tsk Tsk, you have to read to find that out! ;)

Janelle has created a magical, intriguing, witty, high-fantasy that leaves you wanting more. After THAT ending, I need Eden-East like..now.

"He smiled down at her. By the Gods did she love when that man smiled."

Yay for another exciting segment in the Eden saga!! =)

Once again we're transported back to Eden where the world is at the brink of war. Aiden, Wolfe and Lily are reunited with their friends Wolf, Logan, Elisa and the rest of the kingdom. What I liked most about this book was that we finally get some resolution to the a couple of the plots. FINALLY. It was nice to see Diana joining in the fight as well.

Most significant for me was that we get to see the world of Aziz. Up to know he has been this evil master who we've only heard about. Now we get to see inside his world. It's all coming together and I can't wait to learn more about Elex and what the next chapter holds for Eden.

OMG, this series just keeps getting better and better!

The story was great, being able to go on another adventure with the gang from Eden. In addition we learned more about some of the characters that were introduced in the previous book.

So looking forward to the next book, seems how Janelle really loves cliffhangers!

Thank you for this fun filled adventure and eagerly awaiting the return to Eden!

You know that feeling when you're reading an emotional part in a book, and you feel a lump starting to form in your throat? And you're starting to fight little stupid tears because your family is siting beside you, and you're afraid for your mental reputation? Yeah probably.
Now, do you know a book that made you feel that way several times? Probably not.

It takes me a lot of courage to admit just how much this book moved me. Some scenes are just so beautifully written, you can't help it.

The second book in the series might have fell a little compared to the first one, but Eden-South picks right up and reminds me why I came to appreciate this series so much. This installment is an emotional bomb, that's for sure. Halfway through the book I even started panicking. You see, I thought this would be the last book in the series, and the though of parting with all those characters hit me. Thankfully, there's a fourth book.

But it also means I might have to wait an entire year for the next one.

You're damn right Bellatrix/Hermione, I don't.

But in all honesty, this book is worth the wait. I think the best aspect of this book was the different storylines finally coming together. All through the book, you have no idea how it's all going to end, because there's a lot going on.

Now, I can talk about each character seperately, but I doubt anything I say will be different. Every one of the characters is well developed, and has his/her own presence? Yeah, that's it. Well, except Rain. Technically speaking, she's not a poorly written character. I just found myself not so found of her. She's immature, which is not a surprise considering the position she put herself in.

In the last book, it bugged me how the storyline somehow slowed down. This book, thankfully, picks up on that aspect. There's alot of war strategies and action to keep you glued to the pages. The intensity as the second battle comes close is immeasurable. Janelle really knows how to build up the anticipation to the point where you are skimming the pages just to know what happens next. Yet again, I was torn up as to who root for in the battle. Each leader has so much to loose , so you're left with this internal debate as to who you're wishing would win.

Action aside, the emotional side of the book is one of the best in the entire series. I'm not sure I can coherently describe what happens, but there's some deep shit going on this time around. All the relationships are written in such a heartfealt way, you're practically thrown into their situation.

I once came across a reviewer that was gushin about how a certain author makes use of every character they write. At the time, I just shrugged it of. But come to think about it, every character here is written for a reason. The foreshadowing makes this story much richer.

I can't wait for the fourth book, but for now, I'll just have to sit around and wish Wolf was not a fictional character *sigh*.

Don't forget to check out my blog on the 3oth of march for a huge giveaway of the Eden series.

Ms J, if I didn’t love you tremendously I might shake you painfully! LAWD!!! This is the most emotional book EVER!!! I never thought I could become so obsessed with characters in a book, but trust me, I would so stalk each of them- and then I’d probably be beheaded for some kind of treason. I am 100%, utterly, completely, irrevocably IN LOVE with this series! Plus my book boyfriend is hilarious if not promiscuous and drunk a lot hahahaha I will not try really hard to not spoil anything for anyone.

So, Aiden is back, I absolutely love him. If I weren’t on a mission to snag Logan I would be very team Aiden. His fight skills as well as maturity level are growing. And how about him being down right good. He’s not so flawed or tragic, he’s just a good person and a wonderfully constructed character. Now I know everyone is team Wolf- except me- and I actually very much like Team Wolf, I even found myself cheering for him and saying a little prayer for him to catch a break. He definitely had some excellent character growth on this run. I feel like I’m finally getting to know the real Wolf. My spoiler comment-HIGH FIVE! I am still loving Moose as well. As Wolf’s brother, you expect him to be… More Wolf-ish LOL, but he’s a lovely amount of artist and fun haver. He’s also an excellent friend to Aiden as well as a loyal fighter. My boyfriend is last, goodness he is hilarious! I’ve actually also learned that he can be a good friend, even if he disagrees. He still stands by Elisa when she makes that crazy decision with Markus. He also knows how to lighten the mood in any situation.

Elisa has me both baffled but also proud of her. She made some crazy decisions but was trying to do the right thing. She’s fiercely glad Aiden is alive and back, she is my perfect heroine! I don’t think there’s a cooler chick out there! And Rose and Lily are completely excellent ladies to add to the mix! I love Rose for who she is and what she stands for! Lily is utterly fantastic! Her character set up and building is probably my favorite! She absolutely makes me smile at all times! I totally hope it works out for her and “him”- you have to read to know! Rain has me so damn mad, and I actually hope she gets what’s coming, but then I feel bad for her sometimes because she has no idea what’s she’s in for! Ugh!!! Elex is definitely going to be the mystery bad boy we all want to fix! I can tell with his appearances was gunna captivate me in the next book! And I cannot wait to see what will happen now with King Jameson and Callum!! Oh and with King J and Diana!!

I will say this, trying for no spoilers- YAY!!!! NOOOO!!!! OMG!!!! Bleep bleep bleep bleep!!!! Ms J, your cliff hangers are so well played but damn you!! I just… I need… I mean come on!!! Ok, spoiler moments over hahahaha ok so let me think… If I could pick one word for Ms J’s writing, I couldn’t, but these pop in my head simutaneously- PHENOMENAL, MAGNIFICENT, SPECTACULAR! It’s such a ridiculous amount of goodness that comes from the kid! I will say I am so glad she writes what I love because it would be a complete shame to miss out on this piece of art! I am going to go with one of my rare 6 AWE INSPIRING, AMAZING PAWS!!!

If you have never heard of this series than you absolutely NEED to get your hands on a copy of the first book! You will not be disappointed! Janelle is a wonderful writer and I love both of her published series so far:-)

This is the third book in the Eden series and the story just keeps getting better and better. This series is one that while reading each installment, Janelle takes you back to this unique world that she has created. After finishing, you can’t get this world out of your head and you continue to think about the characters and wonder what could possibly happen next! This is exactly why I love reading and what makes a book GREAT!!

A lot happens in this book and I was filled with all different kind of emotions while reading! I laughed, cried and definitely swooned!

I honestly am able to finish these books in one sitting since I can’t seem to PUT THEM DOWN once I start. All of my attention gets captured into the storyline and my poor family suffers for it!

My favorite character is Wolf. Of course it has to be because he is definitely a bad boy of sorts and makes my heart sway on many different levels.

I enjoy the way Janelle’s writing allows us a glimpse at different POV’s. We get the whole picture of what is happening all around the kingdom and are able to sympathize with many characters. Of course, we all have our favorites, but, we get a sense of the reasons behind everyone’s actions and the story does not seem one-sided.

I can’t wait to get the last and final installment to this series, Eden-East. It is due to be released in September, 2013. I must also add that the cover to Eden-East is my favorite out of the whole series;-)

*Huge fan girl squeal** Sweet book fairies do I LOVE this book!!! **happy dance** It's just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! **Much jumping up and down hugging Kindle** Just take everything you love about the first two Eden books and amplify it by 1,000 .... it's THAT good!!!!! I'd give it six stars if I could!

So much happens in this book, so much growth, so much craziness and some great conclusions to some big fat issues that will make you super duper happy!!!! But then there's even more darkness and danger and suspense that'll make you cringe and clutch your pillow! There's a new character in the mix and we also get to know more about Aziz. Then there's some hints about a few new things to know about Aiden, but we'll just have to wait to see that play out in the series conclusion, Eden-East (I get chill bumps just reading the blurb for that baby)!

As always, Janelle Stalder's writing continues to amaze me. The Eden series is all about dynamic characters and intense action. As an aspiring author, I can only hope to write characters as wildly dimensional as Janelle Stalder's! I'll be twitching in my seat for the September release of the series conclusion!!! **happy sigh**

This book is simply AMAZING! If you've read books one and two, you're going to LOVE this book!

Janelle Stalder picks up where book two left off. Aiden has reached the Capitol, with the forest girl Lily, to warn them of what's to come - a fight with the North. Jameson and Callum are still fighting, and Elisa is engaged to Markus, the King of the South. Aziz has taken in Rain and now is trying to capture Aiden.

And I must say, everything works out perfectly in the end - well mostly, but that just leaves us with another Eden book.

The book is told in multiple points of view, and although that can be distracting in other books, Janelle pulled it off beautifully. It helped to understand more of the story and the feelings of the characters in the book. And for that I was thankful! I loved being in all of their heads!

I love the new characters which were introduced as well.

Janelle kept me in Eden, and again, I didn't want to leave! I would rather curl up and live with those characters in Eden!

And yet another win! I look forward to Book Four!

I have one thing to say to you Janelle:
Okay so this was given to me in request for an honest review...sort of...either way its just a warning, but also you should know that i am not going to change my opinion because of that, in fact i am truly honestly in love with this series.

Okay with that said, and also this is a series, this is the third in a series and while I can promise you I will not do spoilers for this book, I will probably have spoilers from the first and second book please don't read this review if you haven't read the first two or you just don't really care if you know what will happen in those books. Thanks and yeah.

First thoughts: AMAZING, while i know most people worry with series that they start to digress but I think this series has remained very strong, and while yes somethings feel too easy I was okay with it because we have had a lot of time for the characters to change. I loved how more involved this was with the other characters, it wasn't Aiden's story anymore, it was evolving in the second one as well but I felt this was really went places i was not expecting. We were starting to follow new characters from the last book, and Janelle does this to me a lot and makes me feel for these characters i don't want to feel for! But she is a master at it, and its really fantastic writing on her part.

Thoughts on Plot: While in the last book there didn't seem like whole lot of fighting, just building the bridge as it was for this book and the very first one, i thought that - i did love the second one don't get me wrong and i thought it moved really well - this one was more action, more relationship building and for certain characters- building them some more. I think that is one of the great things about this series is that while Aiden started the journey isn't only him we get to see grow in each book, its all these amazing characters that i have personally fallen in love with. Anyhoops this part isn't about characters.... the action, so much action, so many secrest being unveiled and new mysteries were emerging. As always this book moved perfectly, i could have been reading for 20% (e-book edition sorry i don't have page numbers) and i wouldn't even realize it. And i would only surface because i love doing GIF status updates. anyways oh and that ending...goddammit! sneaked up on me! more about that later.

Thoughts on Characters:

Well in my second review i did pictures for most of the characters but there were two other characters added in a more major role that i might do some for...

(ALSO if you have seen my review for the second one Moose and Wolf have changed ;) )

Aiden: Well i still love him, he is still growing even in this book, honestly in this book he felt a little bit pushed into the background but i knew that other stories needed to be told and i was okay with that, but wow he has come such a long way! <3 Aiden so much!

Elisa: now this book felt more like her story than anyone else's well besides maybe Rain's. But i will get to that soon. Elisa does a lot of growing in this book as well. She learns what is to lose love, to gain it, to be broken by it, and to be utterly lost, and confused. which as i imagine love to be. While there were times i was like come on sweetie get with the program I understood. I really did things were not easy for her, and i could see her side to the story even when the story was blurred with Wolf's side as well. But she was amazing, loved her.

Wolf: Oh Wolf. This boy, let me tell you when I started the first book i was a little iffy about him. I was like i like you as a character, I think you are well written, sweet, and a good friend but you are getting in my way of Aiden and Elisa being together, so i automatically wanted to put him in the "evil" pile as i like to call it. Not that he was an "evil" character like a villain just a problem that needed to be solved. God how wrong was I. Not only was i falling for him by the end of the first book but i had completely, head over heels fallen for him in the last book, now i am so far gone with him worlds can't even describe. WOW. just holy WOW. loved him! LOVED HIM LOVED HIM LOVED HIM. and he understands that he made a mistake and he is trying to make up for it. UGH LOVED THIS MAN!

Awkward moment for like a split second i thought Moose and Logan were going to be well love interests ;) hehe IT was for SECOND and i can see a major bro-mance developing between them and that is why i am going to do to write about them together. They are the comic relief, with Logan still being as insightful and observant as always and Moose being the wise one that keeps it a secret. loved them both :D

So say hi to the "newer"/more emerging characters!

Rain:

Elex:

Rain: While in the last book i decided to write her off and say goodbye i didn't want anything to do with her, and imagine my shock when we get her POV as like one of the first chapters as well! GASP! Janelle, Janelle, Janelle....stop making me feel for characters i don't want to feel things for! GRRR! (BUT on all serious levels right now, this is one thing i have found that seems very unique to Janelle's writing - from what i have come across and i love it, i absolutely love it, its masterful, deceitful - in a good way - type of writing that sneaks up on you). Anyways so yes i do feel for Rain but a lot of times i am on the fence with her. I still cannot give you a definite on how i really feel about her.

Elex: Interesting character. Very interesting, i can't and won't say much about him. But INTERESTING.

The ending: :| JANELLE. JANELLE. Janelle. aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i am freaking out. freaking out seriously. seriously? SERIOUSLY? WOMAN! GGGGGRRRRRRRRRR AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Aiden has been through his second battle in the magical world of Eden. The victory is short lived and Aiden is sent racing toward his friends in the Capital. After being back in Eden with the Riders, he is eager to reunite with Wolf, Elisa and Logan, although he doesn't realize just what he’s returning to. Surprises await him when he arrives in the Capital; his close-knit group of friends is slowly falling apart. On top of it all, another battle is just around the corner, one that will change everything.

I was giving a copy of this book to review by the author, and words can honestly not describe how in love I now am with Eden and all its characters, I totally inhaled this episode of Eden South and now like everyone else I have to wait wait wait for Eden East, 5 stars from me this round Janelle.

All answers to previous questions brought to light from Eden and Eden West are answered in this exciting tale of beyond the realm.

The Castles are all in an uproar at the impending battles and scheme are being cast from up above to down below, who will be the capture victim in this story line, you'll have to wait and see if its from the past or the present.

The story line definitely keeps your interest peaked through this instalment, and just as the story gets good, it finishes with a huge cliff hanger leaving you anxiously waiting for the 4Th instalment to Eden, Eden East.

Awesome Janelle just loving it to bits.

This book was a really good read and I finished it in just a few days. There wasn't really anything I didn't like in it. I enjoyed the relationship growth between Elisa and Wolf, the continuing closeness between Rose and Callum, and Callum and Jameson finally meet in combat. Much of the book keeps the tension between Markus, Wolf, and Elisa. Rain studies under Aziz, and Aziz continues his general evilness. Aiden gets a few new cool abilities. Plus we get a new character introduced in the employ of Aziz. There is a ton of character growth here on almost every character (even Markus), and the action is just non-stop. I think this is a great third chapter in the Eden series and I'm really looking forward to the conclusion in Eden-East.

I thought this was a great book. The story line was well written and kept me wanting more! Im excited for eden east! Im really interested to see what happens between Elex and Rain! I feel like there is some kind of spark between those two (i know they are supposed to be bad.. for some reason i am rooting for them to fall in love haha) even though Aziz says Elex has no feelings! And i am LOVING Wolf and Elisa!
