Jacob Dobson, suffering from total memory loss and immobility, quickly identifies the patterns of the world. The sun rising and setting. The coming and going of nurses. But when the one positive thing in his life -- a woman named Olivia -- suddenly disappears, he begins to doubt those patterns. Now he must fight to regain mobility, and uncover the secrets of his previous life.
David Michael Sullivan spent much of his childhood exploring his imagination. In third grade, he co-wrote a parody of The Stinky Cheese Man, itself a parody of fairy tales and stories. His inquisitive mind led him to computers and technology, and to spending countless hours tinkering with web design, software development and various other technology throughout his teenage years.
He now spends his days writing software for a Toronto-based animation studio, and his nights and weekends writing fiction. He enjoys technothrillers -- the likes of Robert Ludlum and Michael Crichton -- as well as Science Fiction/Adventure and Space Opera, and has a soft spot for apocalypse stories.
