started slow then picked up. Would have liked a little more story, everything seemed to be skimmed over.
Some questions I was left with:
Why was Evandra locked where she was?
Why did she not attempt to leave/escape?
How did she get her child out?
Who was the whispering guy?
and why didn't he help her escape?
How did the Marines develop a relationship with Juliette?
WTF happened in the woods with the Asteriosians?
...and why wasn't Tor pissed, excited, something?
I am sure I could go on but, am willing to start here...

Not bad but I'm not a fan of quads
It also was t fleshed out enough so I'm curious about the other books but probably won't buy them
