Let's be clear. I'm a fan of Mr. Evans. So I may be a little biased in this review. I didn't feel good when I read this book. I was unease with Erica because I did not fully comprehend what is happening from her. She is this young woman enthralled by a dominant man and his sexy wife. I feel like I missed an entire back story. With a contemporary setting, this kind of crossed my lines with what they did with Erica in public. This kind of exposure not cool for me.
What I did like was the BDSM. The scenes are erotic and well written. I just couldn't get over the uneasy feeling because of Erica's limits being pushed and ignored. I also felt like history between Kathryn and Erica was missing. My anxiety got the better of me. I kept thinking the other shoe would drop or something bad would happen. It never did, but I was always in the "what bad thing will happen mode" which made this an odd read. Still, it is a lovely erotic piece involving exhibition, menage and total power exchange.

Every once in a while I run across a story that I keep thinking about for weeks and I am pretty confident this is going to be one of those. I got sucked right in from the first moment. Watching Erica struggle as she worked through her emotions and Blaine and Kathryn balance their eagerness with the realization that this is going to have a profound effect on their marriage made this seem so very real. This is one of those stories I just think everyone interested in BDSM should read.
Now that being said - I don't usually go for public humiliation but this didn't bother me quite as much because Erica wasn't risking any more than the other two. I wasn't happy with her leaving college early or cutting off contact with her family, either - I don't think either of those things work out very well personally. I also think she has a lot to learn before they can achieve what the three of them want.
I hope we get to see a lot more of their relationship as it develops further.

I was attracted to this story largely because of the MFf menage situation. However, the second F rarely participated, which was disappointing. Also, I hoped that a male author could do a solid and perhaps unique job. Unfortunately, there isn't much positive. It's too short to have a real plot, and the little-f is too clueless to be in this BDSM relationship. She knows she likes to submit, but doesn't understand what it means, and is continually caught off-guard by the simplest commands. Good thing she enjoys spankings.

Slave BDSM is just not for me which made it hard for me to read this book. Some of things which they made her do just seen cruel. They only allowed her bread and water for nourishment. This book wasn't for me. I question bdsm when the person takes pleasure in hurting their sub. It's part where the sub wasn't comfortable with something but she was still made to do it and received a punishment for not. There was no safe word given to use. The tone of the doms was you do as I say when I say. This bdsm could quickly become abusive with the sub being none the wiser because she doesn't get a say or choice.

Erica is drawn to submission and is introduced to Blaine and Kathryn. She meets with them and does as told. She longs to be with them as their slave. Didn't like her dropping out of college or diconnecting with family. Also as new as she is to the lifestyle, I did not like them pushing her in public. Just wished the ending went a little farther in them all committing to each other. Hope to see this trio go farther.

It was well written and the sex scenes (which to be honest was pretty much the whole book) were hot, but I just couldn't help feeling that I'd jumped into a 5 book series at book 5. It just felt incomplete and needed far more back story than what was given.

Raw, rough and deliciously dark
A great short story that pushed my buttons in an uncomfortable way, yet I read it in one sitting and found myself squirming at the turn on feelings at the degradation and humiliation. My fantasies are great, not sure how I would handle some of them in real life, but love to explore them in the writings of Trent Evans.

This may not be everyone's cup of tea...but it hit all of my kink buttons so 5 stars. If your looking for smut, Trent provides every time. Some degradation, voyeurism, sprinkle in a few name-calling "sluts" during sex and you got me! Oh, and add a mean Dom mistress in, and I'm on my way to book two. 👋

I enjoy BDSM stories, but in this case, I felt that Erica was pushed beyond her limits. I didn’t like her being a “slave,” as if her pleasure, although noted, wasn’t as important. I thought the doms were more cruel than likable.

*2019 more books to read out of 2021 books* I wrote quite a long ass review on kindle and it disappeared damn you kindle!! let's try this again. This book was quite shockingly great for an erotic bdsm. It involves mff (my fav theme) where the 2 doms who are husband and wife (aaa!!) are vampires (again,my fav). It was detailed but no too extreme, and pleasant to read. it was quite short so i'm hoping there's a second book to it?? I want to see more Erica. #goawaycovid19

First and foremost before I write this review I will say that I liked this book A LOT until the end and I am still confused by the end of this book. I do not believe at all that it was a Cliffhanger I just feel that the end of the book was written in some kind of secret code that I could not even figure out. There are several things that bothered me in the book.
How did Erica become the submissive to both Kathryn and Blaine? I know they saw her walking but, where and how in the world do you approach a girl to do that. Erica wasn't really a submissive she questioned her authority a lot. I liked that Erica was defiant but, I would have really liked it had I understood the ending. All of a sudden other people were referenced and I was confused. Maybe this is part of a series and not referenced as so if someone can explain the ending to me please do so..

This was a re read for me. This was a short quick read that I think I liked better the second time I read it and the name change fit. Erica is a college student looking for that something which speaks to her deep down submission. Blaine and his wife Kathryn are in a D/s relationship and Blaine feels that Kathryn is ready for a sub of her own. The sex scenes were hot this all took place in one day. The book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This was the first book in the series I am looking forward to reading the next book.

The book is about one night when three people decide to move in together.
Not about how they met or how they started to live together or some great threeway. One night with some exhibicionism which sub seems detest, which is supposed to be a test before moving together - but I didn´t see it there. We knows how they met, we were told, which gives me a feeling I skipped a few volumes or somebody cheated me and concealed the most important parts.
I enjoy some exhibitionism, but not here.
So three stars for spanking and punishment part and theme to think about before bed.

That first chapter was more than half of the book. I normally read 400 pages within 2 days and it took me almost 2 days to read this one. I think I would have liked it more if it was a full size novel. I guess I needed a better background story to draw me in.

I was hesitant to read because I don't really like short novella length. But I really liked other books from this author, and it's so hard to find really good writing, so I decided short is better than nothing! Glad I did! Of course I wish it was longer, but it was great writing and a good story. Will definitely read the next in the series.

I really enjoyed this short novella, however I had some questions about Erica. How did she end up with Sir and Mistress and how did Sir and Mistress come to that point in their relationship that they needed another party. The sex scenes were cherry popping and the description of what Erica is going through at the time is well thought out.

This could have been a great book if you hadn't felt as if it started in the middle. There was really no background or build up to what was going on. For the one night that was written about, it was not bad.

This was not what I expected. In this book the Dom/Mistress are all about inflicting pain. I guess I prefer a lighter side of the BDSM.
