I started this book yesterday and I was half done within 45 minutes. I didn't put the book down until I had read the last word on the very last page! I've been seeing reviews and posts about this book on Facebook, and OMG talking about TWISTED! This dang Stalker is crazy as hell! He's got a sick fetish children and killing that is out of this world. Tatiana and Juicy had a messed up childhood and they are working hard to make their lives as adults a little better. What they don't know, is that they are still living a twisted lifestyle, and that someone from their past still hunts them. Tatiana is the more dominate one who is not afraid to use what she has to get what her and her sister needs. She's the bread winner of the sisters, while Juicy is the opposite trying to treat her body as a temple. Not wanting to get down like Tatiana. Will Tatiana be able to convince her sister to come over to the other side and quit her 9-5? Oh and let's not forget their roommate, Kandy-Kola. Kandy-Kola has a secret of her own. Is she really who she says she is? Will all her secrets be exposed for the world to see? Can't wait to see how everything turns out. Fetish is a must read. If you hadn't picked up your copy, then you are missing out!!

I usually enjoy works by Shameek Speight, and Fetish is no exception. This story of a group of friends, living together and finding ways to get money from men, is one that kept my attention page to page. Learning the history that led to Tatiana and Juicy, a couple of beautiful & very different sisters, being so close to one another and so fiercely protective of one another helps tie in pieces that would otherwise not make much sense in the concluding chapters. When Kandy-Cola meets that ONE man who changes her approach to hustling, everything that the ladies held on to suddenly became questionable. When the mysterious person Juicy was certain she could feel/sense behind them when she and her sister were on money making dates was revealed, so many old wounds were unearthed.
Mr Speight left no stone unturned in this story. Sex, murder, friendship, love, and mystery, it's ALL here. It's well written, there are few editing errors, and the story easily maintains readers interest. Well done...

This book, to me, is definitely deserving of a 5-star rating. I LOVED this book. Everything was so detailed in it, and like some of the other reviewers have already stated, it played out like a movie at times. I like when I read a book and can visually picture the scene from a book playing out in my head. All while reading the book, I really thought I knew what was going on, then in the end, I got thrown for a loop and realized I didn't have a clue!! LOL.....it was such an adrenaline rush watching the pieces come together. You will learn to have a love/hate relationship with the characters in the book. I didn't want it to end. I would absolutely recommend this book. Job well done Mr. Speight. I'm ready for book 2 now. :)

ok so this story is off the hook. at first I was like what the heck is going on with these sisters, but after getting into their background I guess they were doing what they have been forced to do for years. I figured Dustin was shaky and Marvin too cause it was too much of a coincidence. this story had me on the edge and it was playing like a movie in my mind. Great read

It's been months since I've read this book, and this quote still makes me laugh until I cry! This has to be one of the most memorable quotes I've ever read, and not for good reasons.

Real Life Strife
A well written sex driven tale providing this authors view of cultural realism. Not what I am acquainted with in my own life but I try to understand the family situations identifying varying sub-cultures within. A black representation of some lives including incest and lowdown on the down-low as filthy as sex can be with dark humanity. I recommend only mature discerning adults Age 21+ (Age 18 is not prepared for this much naked truth). Ugly Picture! AGE 21+

Interesting
Book was different but ok & very interesting. All the grammar errors & mis-wordings are very annoying. I would read book 2 just to see how the Dustin situation unfolds & who really is behind all of the killings. Also how the hel did the Stalker always find them? Did he bug their vehicle with a tracking device? They always left while he stayed behind to kill so it didn't make much since how he always found their next location.

wish I would have read the reviews before reading this book. The incest didn’t bother me too much more so than the graphic unnecessary lesbian sex. I say unnecessary because the sex scenes didn’t make any sense or rather the situations leading up to the sex was bizarre and unrealistic such as four women sitting at the table talking about rent then all of a sudden they are licking their lips and engaging in an orgy. The sister sex was unorthodox I agree but I could appreciate the author’s convey of child abuse: mental, sexual and physical that would warrant such trauma to cause grown women to take part in such behavior. While it’s uncomfortable, I believe it is reality that there are damaged individuals that have been abused to these depths. Other than that, the editing needed work. The tenses are inconsistent and confusing. From what I read so far in the book, there was no clear plot. Every other page was sex which I can appreciate when written tastefully and appropriately. Overall I couldn’t finish it. I was highly uncomfortable.

I was so not expecting the story to go the way it did. With the things Juicy and Tatiana were doing had me saying wtf! Learning everything they had to go through as kids finally helped me understand. As for Cola I think if she was honest with the dudes she dealt with things wouldn't have gone the way they did. Alonzo ain't worth a damn! Instead of telling Casino what was going on, he wanted Cola even though he knew her secret. Marvin kinda gave himself away even though Juicy was too naive to see it. As for their mother, I wish she would've gotten locked up too! The stalker should havelearned his lesson while being locked up. He went completely overboard when it came to dealing with the girls dates. It just makes you wonder how Marvin is really involved and why he would betray the friendship he shares with Juicy.

I will say that if "kinky sex" bothers you, this might not be the book for you. I've read a little bit of everything so that aspect didn't bother me at all. I love murder mysteries so I was looking forward to reading this one. I actually had really high hopes about this book but it was just too far fetched for me to enjoy. This wasn't my first read by Shameek and it won't be my last but this one was just ridiculous. There were some events in the story line that just weren't believable at all. I don't want to give examples because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who is planning to read the book. Didn't like it, sorry Shameek. Still a fan though.

Before reading this book I read reviews. Though there are some typos and editing issues as other reader stated, it's not a bad book. If you are a person who reads a lot you won't be bothered by the flashbacks, which happen less than five times. I also was not bothered by the relationship between the sisters, because if you read past the first chapter you get better understanding. I have read better from this author , however I am interested in seeing how he will continue the story.

Omg this was a crazy book. First of all how could a mother no believe there child. I have 3 girls and if they were to tell me that someone was hurting them I'm going to believe them. So that mf is sol in my life. A man don't make me,my girls will always come first. But I don't let men around my girls like that anyway. You must be careful who you let around your girls or boys. Good crazy book. Must read part 2.

I like Shameek Speight for one, originality, two the turns and twists in his books, and three, the vividness he portrays in his book. What i didn't like about it was it was slow. A lot slower than most of his books. It was like he was trying to bring 50 shades of grey to the hood. Not sure if I will be getting part 2 when it comes out.

By the time I started reading it I wasnt able to post that I started the book and before I knew it I finshed in one day, but wow.. It was a real live , full colored thriller on the edge of my sit type of book. So sick and twisted damn this was a great read. shameek has truly become a favorite of mine's.. Damn is all I can say.

Fetishes was definitely a page turner. I would have given it a higher rating but with all the misused words, spelling errors and inconsistencies in the story, kept killing my flow. The story line kept me enticed. Captivating story line none the less. I definitely wanted to know how the story ended. Curious as what part will hold, but I hope they changed editors.

The only good thing I liked about this story was the two plot twist, however I saw it coming a mile away. I knew Kandy was a man and Dustin was the Stalker. There is a part 2 but I am sure I could guess the outcome, Marvin is Tati and Juicys brother. The mother and brother want payback, story wasn't worth my time.

I'm a true fan of this author and just bought another book by him, but this one was like a bad scary movie. The characters were truly unbelievable in every way and I don't know if it was a horror, a drama, or a comedy, but whatever it was I'm not reading book 2.

this story would have received five stars but due to all the errors in grammar and punctuation I found I had to only give four stars. I really liked the storyline and characters and cant wait for the sequel.

This was a suspenseful, hood, murder mystery; nothing I have read in the past comes close to this author or the story. I was expecting the same old,same but......the twist at the end was GREAT!!!!
