ovo bi, kao, trebalo biti erotika s elementima pustolovine i intrige, ali zapravo je bućkuriš u kojem se evie blake ničega nije ozbiljnije primila. valentina, glavna akterica u ovom zbrčkanom romanu totalno je zbunjena, neodređena, glupava i beskrajno dosadna (a predstavljena je kao samosvjesna, atraktivna i slobodoumna), a ni ostali likovi nisu ništa manje iritantni. od erotske ponude kao da se autorica nije mogla odlučiti kome je roman namijenjen pa je htjela zadovoljiti ukus najširih masa... tako se na svakih tridesetak stranica nađe soft porn po principu "za svakoga ponešto" - poneki threesome, lezbijska istraživanja, soft s/m, seks na brodu, seks u vlaku, voajerizam bla.

jasno je da je okosnica ovog djela seks, sve oko toga samo su situacije koje bi trebale rezultirati nekim oblikom seksualnog odnosa, ali kao da e. blake nije imala hrabrosti napisati ono što je zamislila, nego se provlači kroz tekst kao da joj je i samoj neugodno što opisuje te aktivnosti pa je izbor riječi kvrgav, a sam seks je neuvjerljiv i banalan. klišeizirano, neinspirativno i zamorno sa čudnovatim likovima koji su, nevjerojatno, konstantno iznenađeni kako su se našli u situaciji u kojoj su se već našli.

dajem dvije zvjezdice iz jedinog razloga što sam uspjela knjigu pročitati do kraja.

This book has 0 story. The characters are always thinking about sex or doing it.
The plot could be good if only there were some development. And the finale was so dumb.
And this is a series? Hell no, I’m good thanks.

Hahaha jaooo, koji fail od knjige. Ne znam sta sam očekivala. Đumbus. Likovi su ili iznimno idealizirani ili pretrpani manama. Autorica ne zna sta je napisala na prethodnoj stanici pa se pobije na slijedecoj. Seksa ima na bacanje i vecinom su prilicno smijesne scene, uz par ok. I ocito ne mozes dotaknuti nekoga da se odmah ne napalis. Jbte.
Mommy and daddy issues all the way. Bojim se uopće provjeriti, ali sve mi vuce na to da ima i nastavak (ili da je bio u planu).
P. S. Usprkos svim scenama seksa i nerealnim događanjima, činjenica da glavni lik ide spavati u grudnjaku mi je najnerealnija.

The year is 2012 and Valentina, a photographer, is living in Milan with her lover Theo. Although she and Theo have been together for a year now, Valentina can’t commit to the relationship. While Theo clearly wants to take things with Valentina further and would like to introduce her to his parents, she retreats into herself, behind carefully constructed walls as soon as he suggests it. Valentina doesn’t believe in relationships. Having never known her father, who left her mother when she was still small and having witnessed her mother work her way through one affair after another, she has no faith in love and can’t imagine spending her life with anyone. When Theo, shortly after making his shocking suggestion, has to leave on one of his mystery trips he is clearly frustrated with the woman he would like to be able to call his girlfriend. He does leave her with a present though; an album and a collection of old negatives. He doesn’t give her an explanation about this gift, just tells her to have fun and leaves.

In Venice in 1924 Louise Brzezinska is deeply unhappy in her marriage to a cruel and violent husband. When she accidentally discovers that she has the power to charm men she creates a new and secret life for herself. As Bella she sets out on a path that will make her a celebrated courtesan. A path that will also lead her to the love of her life and the delights of passion.

Soon after Theo has left, Valentina is offered an intriguing photographic opportunity. She will be taking erotic pictures in a club catering for people who enjoy the less conventional side of sex. And as she starts her assignment Valentina slowly discovers new needs and feelings in herself. Slowly the photographer is opening herself up to the possibility that maybe a relationship with Theo is possible. If only she knew where he is, what the meaning behind the album and the old negatives is and why a policeman is looking for him. And will these newly emerging emotions come in time to save her relationship with this wonderful man, or will she find a way to alienate him forever? And what exactly is the connection between Valentina and Bella, apart from photography and their hairstyle?

I’ve been reading a lot of erotic fiction lately and I have to say this book came as a very pleasant surprise. Yes, it is definitely another erotic work, but it is so much more. The writing in this book is excellent, the characters are well developed and their story-lines are fascinating. This story is unrushed. Often in erotic fiction I have the feeling that the author feels obliged to put in a sex scene at regular intervals and ends up manipulating the story in order to fit them in. Not in this book. The more explicit scenes all make sense in the context of the story and Valentina’s development. There are no sudden and drastic revelations for Valentina; lead by opportunity and curiosity she is discovering a world and feelings she wasn’t aware off. But this takes time and, thankfully, the author takes all the necessary time.

That is not to say that there weren’t one or two things I was less crazy about. For starters, I can’t help feeling that the story didn’t need the added story-line about the stolen art. I won’t go so far as to say that it interfered with the rest of the story, but at the same time, I don’t think the story would have lacked anything if it had been left out either.

I also found Valentina a hard character to warm to. She is very self-contained and reluctant to admit to emotions, never mind give in to them. At times she seemed so determined to undermine herself and her chance at happiness that I felt like slapping her. I found Bella much easier to like. She has as many reasons to distrust relationships as Valentina has and yet she is more than happy to give her heart to a man who loves her. I can’t help wondering if that may because Valentina was an established character when the author agreed to write this trilogy, whereas Bella is (as far as I know) a completely original creation?

The character Valentina Rosselli was originally created by Italian Guido Crepax in an iconic graphic novel in the 1960 and has cult status in Italy to this day. Evie Blake is the pen name of author Noelle Harrison (Beatrice, A Small Part of Me, I Remember and The Adulteress) who was invited to write this trilogy about Valentina. From her earlier books it is clear that Noelle enjoys writing erotic scenes and I can’t help feeling that she was more than happy to embrace this opportunity to indulge in that aspect of her writing.

Overall I have to say that I was very impressed with this book and happily surprised when I discovered it was actually written by one of my favourite authors. I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book, if only to discover if Valentina will ever come to her senses.

I love discovering new authors so when I discovered Valentina by Evie Blake at my local library I was enthusiastic to give this book ago. Valentina is the first book in The Desires Unlocked Trilogy and is about Photographer Valentina Rosselli who’s living with her lover of one year, Theo Steen in Milan, 2012. Although she’s happy in her relationship, she gets drawn into the dark world of underground photography of those who like to engage in the darker side of desire…
On the other hand, its’ Venice, 1929. Belle (aka Louise) is a socialite, trapped in an unhappy marriage and controlled by her husband. Belle enjoys living out her fantasies by leading a secret life as a prostitute and holds tight to her dream that she’ll find true happiness when the right man comes to set her free.
How are these women’s lives intertwined?
I enjoyed this book because it is different from all the other erotic fiction books I have read. Please note that the character of Valentina in this book is inspired by the iconic character created in the 1960’s by celebrated Italian illustrator and master of the comic art form, Guido Crepax.
I liked the way the book moves between past and present. The book is set in Italy, a country I’ve visited many times and through the novel I learnt some things about Milan and Venice that I didn’t know before.
I also enjoyed the historical context of the novel. Belle story is set in 1929 Milan. Evie Blake (real name Noelle Harrison) spent a lot of time in Milan and Venice to write and research this novel and I think the author has done a great job.
If you are looking for something different from an erotic fiction novel then this book is for you. It’s good mix between contemporary and historical. This book is mildly erotic so if you’re looking for graphic descriptions of sex, you’ll be disappointed.
I was pleasantly surprised at the ending of how Belle and Valentina’s lives are connected. I’ve already book 2 in the trilogy, Valentina on the Edge.

Nessa review não me vou alongar muito, até porque não quero influenciar ninguém.
Um livro que prometia ser interessante, acabou por se revelar, pelo menos para mim, de leitura lenta e "penosa".. tem poucos diálogos e os que tem não são assim muito interessantes. Acho que a junção do passado com o presente está bem conseguida, mas só a partir de mais de meio do livro é que se começam a juntar as peças. Além disso, acho a personagem principal, uma personagem desprovida de personalidade. Sempre se deixou levar pelo que a mãe pensava e achava dela e dos homens, e nunca se deu conta de que tinha o homem da sua vida já a morar com ela. Foi preciso ele armar uma cena mirabolante para ela se dar conta de que afinal ele a amava de verdade e ela a ele. Muito fraca nível psicológico.
As cenas de S&M são fraquinhas, pelo menos por aquilo que já ouvi dizer. Acho que a questão de ele ser um "investigador" de arte perdida era irrelevante para o enredo e acho que no final de tudo Valentina é uma mulher "devassa" disfarçada, que não gosta nem de si nem de ninguém, por conta de um mau relacionamento. Nunca se abriu verdadeiramente como a sua avó Belle fez com Santos Devine, o qual amou desde o primeiro momento que o viu.
No entanto, para quem gostar do género, acho que pode ser uma leitura agradável, mas não tenham grandes expectativas.

This book was a whole experience to read.
I didn't like everything I read in this book, but the way everything was written I was drawn into the story. I loved the combination of history and erotica. It was so well written I couldn't stop reading it.
The best part was that it wasn't just sex, but there was a story in it. Belle's part was my favorite. I loved how the writer wrote about the 20's en Venice. I really learned about the counties in the book. I am looking forward to read part two.

Ai Valentina, Valentina...
Esta mulher é como uma noite calma mas carregada de energia, que de um momento para o outro e sem contarmos, cai sobre nós. Valentina é uma tempestade!
Uma mulher independente, determinada, bem sucedida e com um muro de fachada bem alto à volta dos seus sentimentos que emparedou aos longo dos anos, por a sucessiva desilusão com a mãe e um amor que a fez sofrer aos 19 anos.

Vive em Milão (cidade que quero visitar!), terra natal e famoso palco da área em que trabalha, Valentina é uma fotografa de Moda de sucesso, com particularidades únicas. Embora o sucesso tenha sido alcançado por mérito próprio, é indiscutivelmente associada à mãe, fotografa de renome na indústria. Pior que viver na sombra profissional da mãe, é saber o quanto são parecidas, ou o quanto a mãe teima em dizer que elas são "farinha do mesmo saco", emocionalmente desapegadas ao conceito romântico do amor, família e uma relação com um único homem.

E o que faz Valentina, vai exactamente contra aquilo que a mãe diz que ela é, ao convidar Theo (um romance que começou com um olhar no metro) a viver com ela ao fim de 6 meses de....romance?....não, aventuras absolutamente eróticas e esporádicas em hotéis espalhados pelo norte de Itália.

Quando este pede para que sejam algo mais que apenas duas pessoas que vivem e dormem juntas, pede que seja sua namorada, o sistema de autodefesa de Valentina fica em modo de alerta. Teme pela sua independência, teme que as palavras da mãe seja verdade e teme que realmente ame Theo e que acabe por ceder.

Em jeito de despedida para mais uma das ausências enigmáticas de Theo, este oferece um álbum com negativos a Valentina que vai alterar o rumo da sua história e leva-la a conhecer uma parte de si que estava adormecida, leva-a a conhecer um pedaço do passado que explica tanta coisa.

Ai ficamos a conhecer a parte de todo o livro que mais me cativou, a história que é contada em simultâneo à de Valentina, ficamos a conhecer Louise, mulher de respeito durante o dia e que à noite (ou quando consegue fugir às garras do marido) é prostituta em Veneza.
Quer uma história, quer outra, começam com a luta contra o desejo mas rapidamente sucumbem à tentação, ao prazer e à entrega total, ao seu lado mais obscuro.

Quer o passado, quer o presente está marcado por momentos de carácter erótico forte, por cenas de nos cortar a respiração e deixar com um sorriso nos lábios (um laranja com algumas tonalidades de vermelho na nossa classificação de romances eróticos).

Um livro que termina e me faz perguntar, "onde está o próximo?". Valentina - O lado Obscuro do desejo é um livro erótico capaz de cativar um número elevado de público, quer feminino ou masculino, quase baseado na clássica expressão "women want to be her, men want to have her". Quem é que não desejava, a certo ponto da sua vida, ter ou ser uma Valentina?

Eu adoro o título original - Valentina e la camera oscura, visto que remete para mais do que um significado.

Ao longo da leitura dei por mim a pensar, é interessante como se encontra pequenos pedaços de muitas mulheres que conheço (incluindo eu própria) em Valentina. Quem é que por despeito não fez exactamente aquilo que disseram que não combina connosco ou que não devíamos fazer?
Quem é que não foi mais longe do que devia ter ido?

Questão é, quem é que se arrepende disso?

Vamos esperar que a Editorial Presença traga até nós a continuação da excitante história de Valentina.

Valentina e la camera oscura è un libro, magico, misterioso, erotico. E se ve lo state chiedendo, no! Non ha nulla a che fare con le sfumature della James.
Valentina e la camera oscura è un romanzo di riflessione e di crescita personale: racconta la storia dell'evoluzione di due donne che avviene attraverso la scoperta degli angoli più bui della loro sessualità.
Abbiamo due donne, molto simili tra loro ma che affrontano la vita in modo estremamente diverso. Valentina è una fotografa di moda, vive a Milano nel suo appartamento che condivide con il suo non fidanzato. Non fidanzato perchè Valentina ha paura delle relazioni, dei legami, ha paura dell'amore. Un giorno Theo le chiede di essere la sua fidanzata ma lei risponde negativamente tenendo fede al personaggio che si è costruita per proteggersi e che ormai confonde con la vera se stessa. Così Theo parte per uno dei suoi viaggi, lasciandola con dei negativi misteriosi, un'ispettore di polizia che la pedina ovunque, una nuova, intrigante proposta di lavoro e un tizio misterioso che compare quando meno se lo aspetta, spaventandola.
Belle, o Louise, è una donna sposata intrappolata in un matrimonio combinato che non ha voluto e legata al terribile marito da una promessa fatta al padre morente. Louise si reinventa cercando di scappare alla routine che minaccia di soffocarla creandosi un altrego: Louise è Belle di Venezia, la cortigiana più bella e ricercata della laguna. Belle aspetta invano il vero amore finchè lui non va da lei nei panni di un affascinante marinaio che le ruberà il cuore.
Cos'hanno in comune Valentina e Belle? Sono entrambe prigioniere: la prima di una maschera che si è costruita per proteggere se stessa, la seconda dell'abitudine e delle brutture della sua vita matrimoniale. Ma sono anche estremamente diverse: mentre una fugge in ogni modo l'amore, l'ostacola, si racconta bugie, l'altra lo cerca con desiderio e quando lo trova cerca di godere appieno di tutta la forza di quel sentimento così forte e struggente.
In tutto questo si inserisce la crescita delle due protagoniste: Valentina riesce a comprendere cosa vuole in realtà, getta la maschera e cerca di conoscere se stessa e la persona che ha al suo fianco, chiedendosi se può fidarsi di lui e lasciarsi andare. Parte della sua evoluzione avviene anche grazie alla scoperta dei suoi desideri più oscuri che passano da stanze che richiamano l'Atlantico o il mistero e l'attrazione del velluto o ancora l'oscurità più profonda. Belle capisce che tutto quello che ha sempre cercato non è altro che un amore che la travolga ma che al tempo la lasci libera di essere ciò che è e di esprimersi, cosa che il marito le ha sempre negato.
E' un libro che vi consiglio caldamente: i personaggi sono ben caratterizzati e immagino che lo abbiate capito anche dalla descrizione che io sono riuscita a farvi. Valentina e Belle sono le due eroine del romanzo, due donne assolutamente fortissime in grado di rivoluzionare la propria vita. Tra Valentina e Belle comunque io scelgo Belle, la sua storia mi ha coinvolta molto più.
Milano e Venezia i luoghi chiave: il lettore ha l'impressione di essere, ora nella frenetica e veloce Milano, ora nella Venezia degli anni venti, con la sua opulenza e la sua magia.
Uno stile coinvolgente, intrigante e lineare che di certo vi lascerà soddisfatti e che porta il lettore dritto verso un finale che non ci racconta tutto ma che ci lascia intuire.

Niet gedacht dat dit boek me zo zou boeien 🤭
Je wordt heen en weer geslingerd tussen 2 tijdperken, zo'n 100 jaar uit elkaar, wel beide in Italië afspelend. Achteraf bleek dat de 2 hoofdrolspeelsters eigenlijk een heel directe link hadden en toch beide vrijgevochten en zeer sensueel waren.
Een aanrader als je eens wat anders tussendoor wilt.
Ben blij dat ik dit boek niet in een hoek geslingerd heb, wat ik na 2hoofdstukken bijna wilde doen 🤭 t is goed geschreven al moest ik soms aan de schrijfstijl wennen.
Ook apart, mijn boek telde 383 pagina's, even 100 meer als deze hier op goodreads.

"Valentina e la camera oscura" è uno dei romanzi più erotici e appassionanti che abbia letto nel 2012, nato dalla penna della scrittrice norvegese Noelle Harrison (in arte Evie Blake) ed edito dalla Casa Editrice Giunti nella collana A.

Il 2012 ha visto sfornare un'enorme quantità di romanzi erotici da tutte le Case Editrici, fenomeno che si è accentuato moltissimo soprattutto dopo la pubblicazione della trilogia delle Cinquanta sfumature, accendendo in tante lettrici la curiosità verso questo genere di letture, il sadomasochismo ed il bondage.
Purtroppo però in mezzo a tutti questi romanzi, fino ad oggi, non avevo trovato nulla degno del nome e di veramente originale: mi è capitato invece spesso di trovare romanzi mielosi e scontati che gratuitamente ed ingannevolmente si son pregiati di questo titolo.
Ad oggi la svolta. "Valentina e la camera oscura" è veramente un romanzo in grado di trasmettere al lettore una forte tensione erotica e portarlo negli oscuri meandri di un piacere diverso comunicato fin dalla cover che al tatto appare vellutata.

Nessuna storia costruita artificialmente. Nessuna forzatura di troppo. Niente di irreale. Ma una storia che riesce, in un crescendo di emozioni, a mischiare e confondere dolore e piacere per portare al culmine dell'amore.

Due donne di due epoche diverse, e di due diverse città, vivono nelle pagine di questo romanzo: Valentina e Belle.
La prima ci porta nella Milano dei giorni nostri e la seconda ci fa viaggiare nella Venezia di Mussolini.
Valentina è una donna sulla trentina e molto sexy: corta frangetta, caschetto nero e modi provocanti. Vi ricorda niente?
La Valentina Rosselli di questo romanzo altro non è che la celebre Valentina di Guido Crepax. Proprio lei: la carismatica, conturbante, e sensuale fotografa dal caschetto nero e somigliate all'attrice del cinema muto Louise Brooks.
Belle, il cui vero nome è Louise Ludwika Brzezinska, come Luoise Brooks, è "uno strumento d'amore" e la moglie di un uomo d'affari polacco.

Le vite delle due protagoniste si intrecciano, si fondono e si confondono portando il lettore nel loro mondo fatto di sesso, seduzione, amore, violenza e mistero.

Perché consigliare e leggere questo libro?
Semplicemente perché è un romanzo ricco e sfaccettato. Possiamo lasciarci sedurre dall'erotismo che si libera da queste pagine per scoprire che in ognuna di noi si nasconde una donna come Valentina, oppure possiamo lasciarci cullare dai ricordi della Venezia degli anni '20 e appassionarci alla camaleontica Belle, oppure ancora possiamo essere incuriositi ed invogliati a scoprire quale mistero si celi nei negativi che Theo regala a Valentina e quale segreto nasconda questo ragazzo...
Una lettura che coinvolge e appassiona fino all'ultima riga.

Questo romanzo è come ghiaccio che brucia e fuoco che raffredda e presenta un amore dalle molte facce: passione, saggezza, generosità, desiderio e devozione.

Erotismo e passione all'ennesima potenza in quello che è uno dei romanzi più caldi ed indimenticabili dell'inverno, il primo di una trilogia che verrà ricordata nel tempo.
Assolutamente consigliato, fidatevi di me.

Das Cover & der Schreibstil:

Das Cover gefällt mir gut. Die silbernen Perlen passen definitiv zum Inhalt und strahlen etwas sehr Sinnliches aus. Den Schreibstil von Evie Blake empfand ich zum Teil als richtig anstrengend zu lesen, ansonsten war er recht flüssig.

Zum Inhalt:

Die Fotografin Valentina lebt gemeinsam mit ihrem Mitbewohner und Liebhaber Thomas in ihrer Wohnung. Thomas möchte gerne mehr als nur eine Affäre und bittet sie kurzerhand, seine Freundin zu werden. Valentina hingegen möchte nichts an ihrer derzeitigen Situation verändern und sich erst recht nicht an einen Mann binden. Sie möchte unabhängig bleiben und da passt ein fester Freund einfach nicht dazu. Während Thomas auf Geschäftsreise ist, lernt sie den geheimnisvollen Leonardo kennen. Für diesen soll sie erotische Aufnahmen in seinem Club machen, doch dabei bleibt es nicht. Die Lust, die sie für Leonardo empfindet verwirrt sie und als Thomas dann auch noch von der Polizei gesucht wird, ist sie vollends verunsichert. Begleitet wird ihre Geschichte von Belle, die uns ebenfalls von ihrem Leben erzählt.

Meine Meinung:

Tja, wo soll ich nur beginnen… Mir hat dieses Buch leider überhaupt nicht gefallen. Die ständigen Szenenwechsel zwischen Valentina und Belle fand ich anfangs noch recht interessant und abwechslungsreich, auf Dauer waren sie leider einfach nur störend. Mir wurde zu viel von dieser „Belle“ berichtet, die Geschichte von Valentina ging dabei etwas unter. Zwar war ich durchaus neugierig, welches Geheimnis Thomas vor Valentina verbirgt, jedoch war die Auflösung recht unspektakulär. Und auch die erotischen Szenen, die im Buch beschrieben wurden, haben mich nicht angesprochen. Sie waren langweilig und wiederholten sich mit der Zeit einfach nur noch. Auch gefiel mir der Partnertausch nicht. Ich halte nichts von offenen Beziehungen und verstehe Thomas Intention dabei ehrlich gesagt auch nicht, so wünscht er sich Valentina doch als seine feste Freundin. Am schlimmsten fand ich allerdings das Ende. Mal ehrlich, was sollte das? Zuerst versucht Thomas alles, um Valentina von sich zu überzeugen und sie für sich zu gewinnen und dann so was? Tut mir leid, aber der Schluss war unglaubwürdig und wirkte abgehackt.

Fazit:

Eine langweilige Geschichte und unglaubwürdige Handlungen. Schade, ich hatte wirklich mehr erwartet. Die nächsten Teile werde ich mir sparen.
Von mir gibt es leider keine Empfehlung.

I loved Valentina.
It wasn't a typical erotic literature.
The characters were both intriguing and deep and interwove with other characters well. There were a few twists in the plot which were quite riveting; I had such a strong urge to not put the book down. I'm very excited for the next installment and see how Valentina learns and progresses in life, love and self.

o início do livro foi difícil, mas depois dei por mim a querer saber mais.

Gostei muito deste livro. Existem duas histórias que no final acabam por se entrelaçar, duas mulheres que vivem o erotismo de formas e intensidade diferentes.
É uma pena que a editora não publique os dois livros restantes da trilogia.

The second thread runs parallel almost a hundred years previously in 1924 in Venice, where Louise Brzezinska is an unhappy married woman trapped with a boring and violent husband. Frustrated, Louise decides to pursue a secret life as a courtesan, inventing her as Belle, trying to escape her monotonous life in her alter ego, Belle of Venice, the most beautiful and sought after courtesan of the lagoon.
At first I didn’t get why the story of Belle is intertwined with Valentina, but a little way through the book everything falls into place. Think. What do Valentina and Belle have in common? Both of them are prisoners: the first of a mask that she has wore to protect herself, the second of habits and the ugliness of her married life.
The story evolves with the growth of two protagonists: Valentina can understand what she wants. In fact, she is able to throw off the mask and tries to know herself and the person who is by her side, wondering if she can trust him and let go. Belle understands that everything she has always sought is nothing more than a love that overwhelms her life – something her husband has always denied to her.
The book shifts in mood between the guilty pleasure of dark sexy lives and intriguing emotional complexities. Sex scenes help to move the story along leaving you swooning, drooling and panting at the same time. The level of craft here is just dazzling and complex characters look simple in engrossing writing. the inter-dimensional mechanics between the sheets is orgasmic that persistently subverts your expectations to almost hypnotic levels. The delicate balance of sensitivity and emotional quotient is commandable. It makes shivers run up and down my spine. The language is solid and polished, the twists and turns are not so many but at the same the writing is terrific. With the astounding (and mysterious) success of Fifty Shades of Grey, the genre is seeing more limelight than it ever has before, and books like Valentina are getting a chance to get published.
Its hard to get over Valentina, but when finished you will be relieved. Blake has managed to keep that thin line between vulgarity and tameness, keeping Valentina extremely sensual, classy and also emotional, making it one of the best books I have read this year.

A autora descreve-nos a história de 2 personagens, separadas por décadas, no entanto com tanto em comum e sem saberem as suas histórias vão estar ligadas ☺️
Duas histórias sobre o poder do amor e a sexualidade.

Numa das histórias, a autora mostra-nos, a necessidade de liberdade através do sexo, num tempo onde isso era algo impossível e a mulher era vista apenas como acompanhante do marido. E também como o amor pode salvar uma alma perdida e desamparada 🥹.
A outra numa época mais moderna, mostra-nos, a mesma necessidade de liberdade, no entanto, por medo de não conseguir mostrar os seus sentimentos e desejos mais secretos e sombrios 😬.

Para concluir não foi dos melhores livros eróticos que li, e a conclusão de uma das histórias fica a desejar mais 🤣 pois segundo o goodreads este livro pertence a uma trilogia 🤷🏻‍♀️ que não foi traduzida.
