Is it simply a case of mistaken identity or is there something more sinister going? For four long years, Senator Robert Montgomery diligently searched for his missing wife. Presumed dead by local authorities from a suspicious boating accident, Robert refused to believe she’d drowned. When he finally thinks he’s found her, he sets out to bring her home, only is she really his wife? If so, why is she pretending to be someone else? What happened four years ago to cause her disappearance? The answer to these questions and many more are cloaked in the mystery surrounding the beautiful woman called CeBreeze.
“Somewhere in a city, on a cool evening you’ll find a cozy corner just for reading.”
Ce-Breeze Taylor, named for a favorite resort in St. Lucia, worked for her aunt Donna in a boutique in the District of Columbia. Ce-Breeze’s aunt and uncle raised her since the age of five after her parents were violently killed during the tour of duty. One evening as Ce-Breeze was leaving work a limousine practically runs her down and takes her to the estate of Senator Robert Montgomery where she is assumed to be Senator Montgomery’s missing wife of four years. Leah Montgomery mysteriously fell off their yacht and left only her sandals while Senator Montgomery was fast asleep. Senator Montgomery lived with the suspicion of four years that it was his fault that Leah could never be found. The political implications rocked him to his core. He would turn over every stone until his wife was found. Robert Montgomery realizes suddenly that Ce-Breeze could not possibly be his former wife but fails to tell anyone.
Dawn Walker’s “Ce-Breeze” was refreshingly unique and different. The story line and plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I read it in one night. It was excellent until the last gasp…I rated this book five (5) stars.
