Riverbreeze Part 2

Rate this book
In the unstable colony of 1643 Virginia, two brothers marry twin sisters and together face life's challenges, family betrayal and the torment of Indian attack and war.

Part 2 continues the saga of the Bassett brothers and their twin wives as they return to Riverbreeze and begin their married lives. All is not well at the Bassett home though. A pair of misfortunes set the stage for this action-packed sequel. Robert must also face the consequences of his reckless behavior in Part 1; and Elizabeth and Evelyn discover a strange phenomenon about themselves that threatens to destroy their young relationships with their husbands; and finally Robert makes the one dreaded mistake that almost drives a wedge between the two brothers.

Full of drama, excitement, humor, romance and details of early American life, Riverbreeze, the series will appeal to a wide range of readers.

Decent continuation of book number one. Lots of information about immigrants coming from England to the pre-USA. Anxious to read book 3.

In 1643 in the Virginia colony, the Bassett brothers are now grown men, they marry identical twin sisters. As they are riding back to Riverbreeze the two sisters discover the two families will have to live together, but they are happy about it. Never in their lives have they been separated. Robert faces consequences for his behavior at a family gathering and the twins discover a phenomenal about themselves that they were not aware of, they had to share with their husbands.

This series n is full of humor, adventure, excitement, and romance. After the couples are married there is a small amount of sex in the story about their wedding night but it does not take away from the story. This is a well written, wonderful story, I enjoyed all three parts.

Part two of the Riverbreeze saga is well written and captured my interest even more than part one. It seems to be historically accurate and gives insight into how life during the early colonial era must have been. Descriptions are well done; long enough to give a good image yet not too long to become boring. The book ends at a mild conclusion with the major plot lines wrapped up. But there just enough to make me want to read the continuing story of the Bassett brothers and their twin wives. Definitely an adult book with some sex scenes but I did not find them offensive or overly erotic and they did not detract from the story. I give this one five stars.

Very good

Part two of a three book series. I have enjoyed this story and anxious to start book three. Anyone that likes a little romance with some early American history would love this series.

Moves fast. Also, makes life in that time and place very real.

This author makes living in this time and era very real. Her no-nonsense descriptions are direct and not too flowery. The characters are well-balanced unbelievable.
