3 Stars! OMG...what the hell! Now I'm even more confused than before. I love them both!!
Honestly if I had to rate this series overall at this point, it would be 4 stars, but I hold back a star, because of how much each book costs for the short length. That being said the author, packs a bunch for so few pages. You can lend the books, now the first books have dropped in price and if you are a Prime member you can borrow for free, so I might have to go back and re-think my rating. I have to give the author props for all that! Also, I see that she is treating us to a full length book for the finale.
It's a good series, with great characters, some wild times, and a woman who is as confused as I am. The author definitely knows how to weave a tale and it's been fun reading about this wonderful, sassy, plump girl!
She's also offering a boxed set of the first 4 books for $3.99 on Amazon-with extended sex scenes!! Boy did I miss out. Oh, well the sale ends today-11/23/12

Well, Big Girls Do It On Top is a pleasant surprise after Big Girls Do It Wilder. Perhaps because of the characters. Book 3 was mainly about Chase, and I don’t like him. On the contrary,Jeff is awesome: loyal, understanding, honest, loving, caring, and simply perfect.
So, Anna is back in Detroit. She considers herself a slut for leaving Jeff and running to Chase without a thought. She knows that she has to face Jeff soon, but now she just isn’t tough enough to do it. She is confused, angry, sad, and truly, deeply regrets what she has done.
She tries to analyze her feelings and motivations, and decode Chase’s motives too.
But is she right?
I think Anna is well on her way to getting over Chase with her reasoning about what their relationship has given her.
She realizes that her connection with Jeff is soul-deep, and finally shows backbone in facing and apologizing to him. Jeff’s reaction is amazing, and they start to rebuild what was ruined.
Weeks pass, and Anna vows to herself not to mess up it this time. She seems to be sure in her feelings, but she still has doubts if she had been right about Chase. Jeff is desperate to keep Anna this time, and makes a hasty move.
But hell, Chase is back, making a scene meant to be romantic, but he only embarrasses and enrages Anna. I really appreciate Anna’s reaction, as I also hate these things in romances ().
The erotica is totally different now than it was in the previous book: intimate, meaningful, substantial, and deeply romantic.
Big Girls Do It On Top is a great part of the serial, I really enjoyed it.

THIS IS FOR BOOKS 1-4
Holy hotness, the books follow the story of Anna a plus size girl who takes the eye of Chase a rock God in waiting, and her business partner Jeff.
You really must read these, Jasinda Wilder is fast becoming one of my favourite authors, the story line is pretty basic, but the sex makes up for that in buckets! It's as hot as hell.
The 4 books follow Anna and her relationship with two men, who it's obvious to the reader, are both in deep with Anna, and the fourth book ends on a which one will she choose cliffhanger ! Honestly I'd struggle to choose too!
Great set of books bought as the box set as a freebie.

Wow. Just, wow. The books in this series were supposed to be quick, fun reads. They were not supposed to suck me in and make me buy this book at one in the morning because I just had to find out what happened next. It's usually not very difficult to figure out which guy the girl should choose but this, this is impossible. For me, anyway. I almost screamed at the cliff-hanger ending even as I could barely contemplate the heart-wrenching decision to be made in the next book. Great character development, steaming sex scenes, and an intriguing plot. What more could you want? Besides the NEXT BOOK?!? ;-D

Another great installment in the Big Girls series! I'm so happy I decided to try these and that I've found a great author I wasn't familiar with before in Jasinda Wilder. I've been eating up this series all week and can't wait to read the rest of her books. Anna is one of my favorite female characters since I can really relate to her. I LOVE Jeff and Chase, although I'm Team Jeff all the way. I hope this series continues for awhile. Can't wait to get to the Rock Star series too!
This one was a little less steamy than the others, but more heartfelt and had more romance/storyline driven. I love when Anna and Jeff sing together...my favorite scene in the book.

One word review = disappointing!
Okay, just when I start to like Anna again, she becomes more selfish. This series is killing me, first we like Chase, then Jeff, then back and forth! I hate the cliffhangers and I hate how she can't decide. And why is poor Jeff acting like a doormat? Ridiculous. I wouldn't have read past book two if I didn't get the four book bundle free!! I thought she had her feelings all sorted until the cliffhanger at the end of this book. So now there is another "Big Girls Do it" book and then a "rock Stars Do It" spin off series? No thanks, I'm out.

It was a bit awkward jumping back into this after years of being away but I caught up quickly. This series has been the ultimate love triangle so far and it doesn’t seem to want to stop.

This is the book where all of my concerns and fears really came to a head. Overall, Anna has put herself in a pretty cruddy position. She has feelings for two men who also appear to have feelings for her. At the end of Big Girls Do It Wilder I couldn't help but think that, considering the position she's in, I really hope she doesn't go running back to Jeff while things are still unclear with Chase (as she obviously still has feelings for him). While that's not exactly what happens and her feelings for Jeff are real and strong, it is never a smart idea to go into a relationship with one person when you still have feelings for another. This book doesn't have as much sex in it as books 2 and 3 but more than book 1. I think this book was the one that housed the most emotions, both good and bad. The cliffhanger at the end of this book is huge. Personally, I am dying to know what happens next in book 5, Big Girls Do It Married.

By the time I got to this story I REALLY disliked Anna.
I can understand being confused but she played each guy for sex & it made me not care what would happen next. I saw at the end of this that she ends up married. Whatta joke!!!

At the very end, I finally caught a peek of the end of the tunnel! FINALLY, the story is getting some depth, and the J Wilder I know and love well hopefully be showing her true talent very soon. Guess I can’t give up now!!!

WARNING! This review if for book #1-#5.5 in the series
Anna DJs and sings at local bars with her friend Jeff, she loves her job and although her family are dysfunctional she has some great close friends, but she is also plus sized with serious body image issues. So when gorgeous budding rock star Chase starts pursuing her she doesn't know what to think, guys like him don't go for girls like her right? But as Chase shows her how beautiful she is, she also starts to notice her best friend Jeff, she can't imagine a life without him in it. Chase and Jeff are both such different men, but who is she meant to have forever with?
This review is a little bit of a cheat as it is for the books 1 - 5.5 in the Big Girls do it series (series order at the bottom of the review). Each book is a small installment in Anna's journey to find her happily ever after, a very HOT journey as she decides between two delicious but completely opposite men.
I read the first book in the series just because I loved the title and the cover, but I found once I started reading it, I just kept going to the next book and the next to see what would happen then BAM before I knew it, I had gone through all of them! And, although the sex in these books was hot and had me drooling over Jeff and Chase, I found I carried on reading as I needed to know which man she would pick, and I liked that Wilder kept you guessing; at the beginning of this series it wasn't that obvious who she would pick.
I really enjoyed this series, it was quick but really sexy and sometimes sweet read and I will definitely be looking for more Jasinda Wilder books in the future.

Again I made notes going with my gut reaction when I read this part of the book...
Jamie ( Anna's best friend ) is a serial dater who goes from guy to guy...I never understood how and not form emotional attachments - ummmmm hypocrite much!!
Far fetched deep back story to explain their slutty behaviours - Jamie is a tart with a heart, with an emotional back story of how her 'brian' wanted to make it work and she ran away only to track him down and for him to say 'too late babe'.... she's a wise old thing is Jamie... apparantly. Boinking two guys is 48 hours, whilst unprotected, whilst one has been boinking, who knows what, who knows how many times 'DOESNT MEAN YOUR A SLUT'
Before anyone dives as me with daggers... I am not slut shaming! Men, women... aliens can boink who they want, how they want...just keep the banana in is skin guys and girls ( and aliens )...no one wants to have a swim in a bacteria ridden cesspit ( if ya catch my drift )

I suppose it was my own fault for perhaps not reading the description or other reviews before getting the book, but I wasn't expecting it to be so heavily on the erotic side, which is normally not my cup of tea. There is some story behind this series of books, but the unabashed love triangle really didn't appeal to me.
I also had some trouble getting past the fact that several words are missing in the text - especially in the first book in the series there's various instances of "in, on, at" etc. missing from the sentences. I was also surprised at seeing mistakes like "palette" being used instead of "palate", and the word "gentility", which means essentially to be of good breeding, being used to describe having a gentle behaviour in bed. I was expecting a funny rendition of the life of a big girl to give hope to us all, but won't make it past this book.

Finally we get a glimpse into who Anna really is. Still a scorchingly hot read, but infused with good character development and LOTS of drama. And the ending? Talk about a cliffhanger!! I'm glad I have the day off because if I didn't I would be calling in sick. I've got to know who she chooses!!! I love both guys and can't decide myself. Menage anyone?!?!

Of the four, this was probably the best of them, but overall, I just didn't enjoy this story. I felt that Anna was lost and never really someone I could connect with. I've heard good things about Jasinda Wilder and I'll try to read something else from her, but this was just not a good read for me.

I suppose I shouldn't be so hard on this book series considering I got to read it for free...but all tell and no show seems to be a series problem. I actually really like the author's tone and voice it's clear, clever, a little snarky. All good things for a chic lit, but in the end I still had a hard time getting pulled into the story.

This is the most emotional of the previous three. Anna is one lucky girl...DAMN! It has a major cliffhanger and I suggest you should get book 5 ready. I love the chemistry between Anna and Jeff, but Chase is trying to prove that he's serious with Anna too...uh oh, like I said, one lucky girl :D

Meh, reading the box set and got bored. After the first book, I didn't like Anne anymore. Then the fact that Jeff took her back, and Jamie when fucking Chase and they ended up together. Yea, no fuck that.
