The problem with 3D Modeling software...is that you just cannot learn it from a book...and while this one is a pretty good book...it just doesn't feel right...also...the examples seems to me...are pretty complex...also the explanations seem to be aimed to beginners.

It's a good book...but I wouldn't recommend it...

A lot to absorb if you are new to blender. Focused on blender's 3D modeling, with a brief overview on rigging and animation. Good as a reference of techniques. Shows comparison of 3 completely different projects and the various issues involved with each one. Would have been much better if there was a 4th practice project involving the reader.

If you're a rookie, you won't like this book. If you're very advanced in 3D modeling, you might not like it either. But if you're not interested in 'clicking here and there', but want to learn how to design a complex project in Blender from modeling to texturing it, this is the book for you. And frankly, this is exactly what I needed.
