The Wrong Pet

Rate this book
(From inside cover)
Billy longed for a dog to go exploring with him. One day Dad came home, carrying a sack. Something moved, and Billy's heart began to beat fast for he thought it surely must be a puppy. But it wasn't!
When he untied the string and looked inside, there, gazing up at him, was a different animal altogether. For a while Billy was disappointed, but soon he grew fond of his pet, Sam, and it wasn't long before he proved a more exciting pet that could ever have been imagined.

My son (8 yrs old) read this book. The book had some exciting parts that he liked. The book is about a boy with a lamb for a pet, but he really wanted a dog.
