About the author

I was born and raised in the small town of Klamath Falls. It is there that I met my husband and had my first two children. In 1999 we left Klamath Falls, headed towards Portland. I have since had one more child and have settled in Newberg. I worked as a waitress in a French Bistro for nearly five years before quitting to help care for my ill grandmother. It was during my care of her that I decided to go to school for Medical Assisting. I had planned on continuing onto nursing, but landed a job with a Dr. I highly admire in a practice that I love, that has trained me beyond my schooling. In the nearly five years that I have been employed there, I have spent a large amount of time commuting. During those times I would spin many stories in my mind with the intention of writing them down. I have always loved to write, but have ventured away from it due to lack of time and life. The story of Neveah and Lilly stuck with me and I decided to write it down. I never intended for it to go this far, or become a full fledged story that I would be so proud of. I look forward to seeing where this journey leads me!

OMGosh, an amazing second story for the Neveah series!

Lilly is determined to make a life for herself while her little bun-in-the-oven grows. She achieves more in those few months than most people achieve in years. She's one strong cookie!

Shep...oh poor sweet Shep! I don't want to say anything about Shep because I really don't want to give away any spoilers! Too many things I could spill that are well worth the wait to find out on your own!

Put it this way though, this story kept me going non-stop! I couldn't put it down and I just loved it. Again, just like the first book, quite a few twists that you swear you see coming and many other you don't.

Love, love, love it! This book was far better than the first one! It picked up right where the first left off. I won this novel in a contest that the author was having and I was thrilled! Lilly and Shep's love is amazing. The land of Neveah is enchanting. Even though Kelsha and Jax are evil, I can't get enough of them either. The characters pull you in and keep you there throughout the whole story. There is a little bit of it all in this novel too. Lily's strength is a wonderful thing to witness instead of the weak and docile women a lot of stories have as the heroine. I was very happy with the ending. I won't post any spoilers, but if you read this book, you won't be disappointed! Especially if you love fantasy and romance. This series is my new favorite read of this year!

Another great read ! Angie writes the story with much description and makes you feel everything the characters feel! The Land of Neveah is so intriguing with all of its beauty and evil ! This story just keeps getting better! I Lilly grows up fast and I was heartbroken for her! And Shep dear god I wanted to smack him! This trilogy is just one big adventure and I cannot wait to see how it ends !!!

It has it all

Continued from book 1, A Broken Forever, this book made me feel all kinds of emotions. I felt hate, love, hurt and happy. I am off to purchase book 3. Yes I need more of the story. BTW I just found a box set of this series after I purchased the 3rd lol Happy Reading

'Standing Broken' Neveah Book 2 by Angie Merriam is wonderful read! This is a excellent follow up to 'A Broken Forever'. This is a emotional, fast paced story. There are characters in this series that you'll absolutely love and other you will despise! I'm anxious to read what happens next in this series!
