I am a die-hard Rush fan since 1976 and I found something interesting things here but it was almost pushing too many boundaries. Neil Peart is a complex man who reflects upon what he reads but it seems there is a market out there trying to prove a point on his writings.

A good book but it's a little academic. Well-researched and, of course, I love the subject matter

A goid companion to the early Rush discography. Thoughtful interpretations helped me see old songs from different philosophical angles. Occasionally too much emphasis of Biblical dogma was cited which I find largely absent in Rush lyrics, yet the author does string together plausible insights I had not seen before connecting a variety of philosophical fundamentals. For me Rush's music itself is the core inspiration that stands towering on its own.
