Simple story, put together in an implausible way. The erotic parts are a bit overdone. I don't really connect with the characters. It is too positive—everything is great, everyone is great. A very special woman who is fine with having sex on command, anytime and anywhere.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
Alexis has a successful business but then she witnesses something that makes her leave everything behind and go into witness protection. But it can't be all that bad when she has two hot retired marines protecting her.
The minute that Max and Kane saw Lexi they knew what they wanted and they were not shy to go after it. But will they be able to find their happily ever after what with the danger that is following right behind her. Will they be able to protect the women that they want to make theirs?
This author is awesome at MMF books. And this one was no different. I loved Max and Kane. Hot sexy alpha males that will have your heart melting...

The author has done such a great job with this book its so much fun exciting yet thrilling and I love the characters Max and Kane are two very hot brothers who know what they want and will have it. Know they think they may have found it in Lexi there forever love but some danger is coming there way can they protect the women they love?

Amazing!
I absolutely loved this book! The story hooked me from the first page! The absolute love between Kane, Lexi and Max, was written absolutely wonderful! I especially liked the steamy scenes! This was my first book from Erika Reed, but it will definitely not be the last!!!

I just couldn't get into this book. First off, in my opinion – my very amateur opinion – writers need to use contraction words more often. There aren’t many people that speak using each individual word. We even use contractions when we write our reviews. So how can we relate to people who speak with absolute perfect (almost foreign) English?
Another thing that bothered me, which seems to be a common issue with newer writers, is repetitiveness. There isn’t much progression going on when you’re constantly repeating the same thing. I would get to the bottom of a paragraph and realize that the entire thing consisted of saying the same phrase with a couple different words or just said by a different character. That is very frustrating. I wanted to yell out, “you just said that!”
My last issue was that the plot just didn’t feel real. It’s hard to immerse yourself in a story when you just can’t see it happening that way. It wasn’t just the excessive proper English, but the things the characters said just don’t feel like the way real people speak to each other.
I will say that my opinion may not be thorough because I didn’t get even half way through the story before I quit reading it. I don’t like to criticize a writer and I feel like this one does have potential to fix a few things and create great stories. But I purchased this one from Amazon and I felt like I wasted my money, so I figured it was only fair that I give my honest opinion for others. Sorry Ms. Reed. Keep working on it.
