As Jennet searches for the collie she thinks she struck with her car during an ice storm, she discovers a charming antique shop where all is not as it seems. On subsequent searches she loses her heart-shaped locket but discovers a body. Who is the killer and what is the secret of the white collies of Lost Lake?
I like all of Dorothy Bodoin's books in the Foxglove Corners series that I have read so far. This one had mystery and intrigue with collies appearing and the heroine not knowing if they were real or not. As I reader, I did not either and thus suspense was kept throughout the book. Thumbs up for another good read!
As corny as these books are, I am enjoying reading them. The plots are interesting. I wish they were available at my library, though. Will have to suggest the other titles I want to read.
