I was recommended this book as I am a military wife.
The book is written with humour about many situations of being a military wife but unfortunately I didn’t feel as connected as I was hoping with it as it was very focused around military officers!
That said the parts I did connect with had me giggling and nodding and agreeing!

I read this when it first came out from the author at an Army Wives conference. As an army wife married to a NCO rather than an Officer I laughed so much as the officers wives were really like this!
I am an Officer's wife now and I have my set of pearls too - 2 strands for a Major's Wife! (Given to me for my 30th Anniversary). I am glad to say I don't have the other officer wife 'uniform'!
