The artstyle is a tad odd and something you need to get used to. Usually this style makes the zombies look silly, but with this bride-zombie it worked really well. Not sure why.
Also, apparently with these zombies they are sprouting some sort of branches. Still, this looks more interesting than I suspected.
But some oddities started to creep up to you while progressing through the story. For instance, tjat fence is enough to keep out the zombies from the train station? And I can understand why one of the two protagonists wants some normalcy back and to make a newspaper. But that train does not look as if it could withstand any zombies, it could maybe outrun them, but what if some are on the raillines? That is a normal compartment train we have today.
And the moment the train stops somewhere, they leave the train immediately? That is dumb and if that "snail" is on the railroad, did that cause the train to stop? And why are most zombies in the villages? A zombie is down in the hole and can spit the blood that far? Is this randomn "gardener" some half-zombie or something? She looks like it, half her face looks like a zombie. And what is it with her talk about where the plague started and as to why Jena and Weimar had so much electric fence? And one of the protagonists three year old daughter managed to run away that far? From the zombie horde? Or was the memory false? No idea. Towards the end, zombies got through that fence... big surprise.... and why come there were zombies left and right before and yet now for the rest of her journey until now there were none until she is in Jena? And that cliffhanger is dumb. Does she want to fight all of those zombies with just that gardening tool?
