They feel badly Kayehalau’s presence on board makes her nervous, but orders are orders.

Emi knows Kayehalau is up to no good. She just has to prove it. It’s soon apparent he wants to use her for a nefarious purpose. The Romance Review

Is this the end of the Deep Space Mission Corps Series? I certainly hope not. According to Ms. Dalton, there are more planned. Now we can all celebrate! This latest installment, OUT OF BIGHT, OUT OF MIND is incredible. This fourth book captures the reader's emotion and takes us for a wild rollercoaster ride. For those who have not read the first three in this series, it is best to read them in order. There are references to the other stories which will enhance a reader's enjoyment.

In this one, Emi and her three husbands are back. Aaron, Caph and Ford are just as doting and loving in the previous three stories. Emi takes the lead again as the one facing extreme hardship. As a high level trained empath, she can sense people's intent and feelings. This also applies to other life forms. Kayehalau is a nonhuman who needs to catch a ride on the Tamora Bight. On paper, Kayehalau is a highly decorated scientist with an impeccable reputation. Yet the vibes Emi senses are menacing and dangerous. Isn't there some saying about listening to a woman's intuition?

Ms. Dalton crafts a fast paced tale of paranoid delusions which manifest in the worst case scenario. It brings to mind "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you". The depth of the sorrow in this novel bleeds from the pages. My heart aches as the men experience the loss of yet another woman they love. The broken bond shatters Aaron, Caph and Ford. Ms. Dalton exquisitely twists a dagger into the reader's chest as the men represent the various early stages of grief. It's almost to the point where the reader can just refer to each male by their main grief names: shock & denial, pain & guilt, and anger & bargaining.

This kind of character development is what makes Ms. Dalton such a great writer. Readers can feel the emotion as it permeates their being. The trials she forces her characters through are at the limit of most people's ability to cope. Just when it hits rock bottom, it takes a turn for the worse. It isn't all doom and gloom overwhelming with angst though. There is always a balance. While Aaron, Cap and Ford are suffering, Emi is walking the frightening yet exciting path of unknowns. She's making new connections and relationships which will bind her even tighter to her husbands if they reunite.

With Emi's narrative, Ms. Dalton injects more world building. The reader learns of two more alien races and how they integrate into the existing world. This provides a richer universe. The latest twist provides a set up for hopefully the next installment perhaps brimming with more gut wrenching emotions. This book is highly recommended to ménage lovers who also love angsty stories with a sci-fi twist.

Book #4 in an excellent series. I would have given it 5 stars if our heroine had tattooed "I F*CKING told you so!!!" on all of her husband's foreheads. Seriously. I can't believe after what all the MCs went through in the first 3 books that this could happen. So, I spent the second half of the book shouting "See, you should have listened, but NOOOOOO!" And there went the 5th star.

Would I read more? Definitely. Although, if the rampant stupidity continues, I may have to reconsider. Excellent Author, writing is solid, hysterical, and hot.

Note to AaronCaphFord - Don't EVER doubt Emi again or I'll come shoot you myself!

I have liked this series a lot, and I think this one is the best one yet. Aaron, Calph, and Ford's love, devotion, and tenderness really is front and center in this story. I shed more than a few tears before I reached the end, and would like my very own aaroncalphford.

Out of Bight Out of Mind the fourth book in the Deep Space Mission Corps series has to be my favorite in the series so far. It is also the one that made me the most nervous. I literally read it in one sitting without lifting my head for much.

The Tamora Bight is assigned a temporary nonhuman crew member, but from the moment that Emi meets him her empath training tells her that he is no-good! The longer he is on board the worse she feels around him, but can she convince Aaron, Caph, and Ford that he is as bad as he seems to her?

When she finally gets her proof, but has to completely take herself out of the equation. But will she put herself at a greater risk with her escape??

This is the hardest review of the series to write!! It is so hard not to give away the great plot twist that come up!! I will say this book had me on the edge of my seat, and crying a couple times! I think Tymber likes to keep Kleenex on the market.. LOL!! I can’t wait to see what happens next with this great crew!! I hope y’all love this series and book as much as I have!!

Ok. I usually don't give written reviews, but this one kinda required it in my mind. I have read all four of the Deep Space books and I have to say I was kinda disappointed with this one. Without giving too much away, I had problems with the plot. In all of the books, memories were forged and created the dynamic of the 4 love birds, but in this book, the author ripped all that to shreds and kinda destroyed what each characters purpose or character significance was to the heroine. I had a problem with that in the end. I was going to say 3 stars only cause it was creative, but I've changed my mind. I was really not happy with this book. I hope she doesn't destroy the other love dynamics in her other books. I'm kinda scared to read the last book because of this series.

This is the forth installment of this series and it is the best one yet! Emi, Aaron, Caph and Ford have been on some great adventures but are now finally doing the deep space exploration they signed up for. When they are ordered to help an alien scientist with his experiments, Emi's empathic senses go on high alert. Although her husbands are sympathetic, orders are orders. They're sure things will be get better once the mission is underway. What happens is an emotional journey that I did not expect! A fantastic read! Keep them coming Tymber!

*1959 more books to read out of 2021* The end of the whole series. One of the first menage sci fi books i've read and quite glad that I pick this series up. One of the thing that irks me is that the first book was bad, like bad for the whole series since I'm pretty sure readers would stop at book 1 since they would've thought the whole series suck ass eventhough IT'S NOT! so thanks book 1 *roll eyes*. Can't wait to read more of Tymber's other books \(^.^)/

A great story about how love can be found in many places. How home is wherever your family is and how resilient family who love each other are strong.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind continues the story of Emilia, Aaron, Caph and Ford. They’re once again off into deep space. This time they pick up a new crew member. Emilia does not like this crew member. He creeps her out and she wants nothing to do with him. Unfortunately Aaron, Caph and Ford don’t have the creepy vibe from him. Could be the whole empathy thing!

Sure enough, Emilia is right and they end up in a REALLY bad situation (again). This time Emilia if fighting for her life. Aaron, Caph and Ford are racing to try to save her. They can’t lose another person they love. It would destroy them all.

The tension in this one was intense. I felt for Emilia the entire time. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t believe what was going on. I was horrified for Emilia and really wanted to smack Aaron upside the head with a two-by-four!

By the end of the story I was heartbroken for the crew while at the same time I was rejoicing for them. It’s an interesting dynamic. I loved the new species we met. They were probably the most interesting of all we’ve met so far (IMHO).

This series is definitely worth reading! I’m also thrilled to find out that Tymber Dalton is planning at least one more for this series. It’s been great fun following the same characters throughout the series. Watching them grow as a family and individually has been fun. Bring on the next one!

For what it is, it's a good series. Interesting characters. i like that erotic scenes were secondary to the actual story. The plotlines were a bit... "romance novel-y" but can't really fault it for that.

I think of all the characters Emi was my least favorite. For an alpha ranked scientist/doctor/empath, she's unrealistically inarticulate and irrational. But if you ignore those personality traits, she's ok. She honestly comes across like more of a holistic medical practitioner and instead of a hardcore scientist. I feel in love with the guys. They're so sweet and doting. Though they fell for her hard and fast but it's a romance novel.

All in all. I look forward to the next book in the series.

What an exciting conclusion to an amazing series, I have read this series many times and can never get enough. Emi and her guys are really out through the ringer in this dramatic and steamy series finale

Merged review:

The last book in the series and the most exciting! Finally getting to do the job they are supposed to do Emi and her men get to explore and secondary research a new planet. It’s made even better by her best friend and her husbands also assisting. Life is good, until orders get overridden! Packed full of drama and excitement, steam and romance, a stunning conclusion to an awesome series

This was my favorite of the series...I hope Tymber Dalton will continue with these awesome characters. They just need another crazy mission to go on. I'm sure some kind of adventure will find them.

All I'm going to say about that creepy alien is that he's, well, very creepy (enough said!).

I think Ford was my hero in this installment. He kept the other guys going when there seemed to be no hope and he really saved the day.

I love you all...my sexy guys.

Really great story. I was wondering how Dalton was going to add to the 3 great stories about Emi and her boys, but she wend beyond adding to and outdid herself. An amazing and very emotional journey for the whole crew that I couldn't stop readying. I look forward to more from the Bight crew. Great job Tymber!!

This could have been 5star for me of the guys had listen to Emi. Really enjoyed story but struggled when guys didn't listen to to Emi more. Love the relationship between the guys. It's perfect mixture of love emotion but not too overboard which can happen with mm books because they are after all tuff manly men. Will definitely read more of this series.
