I devoured this book in one sitting. It belongs to one of my students and I never got the chance to read it until this evening. Most of the facts stated in this book will most likely blow your mind off. They sounded unbelievable but they're facts hence I just have to believe them. Fantastic read, I hope that I'll be ready to be tested by my students after sharing with them that I have finally read the book.

A pocket sized, 200 page, book with weird facts about animals, phobias, numbers, food and humans.

A fun read.
Recommended for MG 7+ particularly children reluctant to read stories.

I loved the bit about phobias and silly laws like all bathtubs in Virginia must be kept outside

"Bibliophobia is the fear of books."

While I’m fortunate enough not to suffer from bibliophobia, I am stuck with ornithophobia.

This little book of fascinating facts not only left me feeling a bit smarter, but also sparked a curiosity about the "whys" behind some of them and made me wonder how many have changed or been updated with new discoveries over time.
