The Future Visible

Rate this book
Paul Carrington left one morning to go hunting. What he found was an alien ship that had been buried for a millennium waiting for the human race to become advanced enough to understand the technology for what it is. He was given a choice, remain on Earth and forget about what he had found, or go with the ship to an alien world and help save not only that world from possible annihilation but Earth as well. The task given to Paul was to build a force capable of defeating a race of beings who's greatest joy in life was to wipe out other civilizations. Paul must learn about the race of people behind the ship, and the ones who would see them all dead and their world destroyed. Follow him as he puts together a military might the likes of which this world has never seen.

Poorly formatted, whole sections only filling 2/3rds of the page. With a font which cannot be changed, the occasional spelling error and poor grammar. A guy finds a spaceship and then builds a defense force of thousands of people with major bases around the world and on the moon, without any governments knowing. The dialog is extremely wooden and simplistic with no character development, would be nice if there was an actual character. Be warned this is only a teaser the story ends just as news reaches them that the aliens are on their way.
