If you want to be muscular, lean, and strong as quickly as possible without steroids, good genetics, or wasting ridiculous amounts of time in the gym and money on supplements…then you want to read this book.
This book reveals things like…
•The 6 biggest myths& mistakes of building muscle that stunt 99% of guys’ muscle gains. (These BS lies are pushed by all the big magazines and even by many trainers.)
•The 4 laws of muscle growth that, when applied, turn your body into an anabolic, muscle-building machine. You’ll be shocked at how easy it really is to get big once you know what you’re doing…
•How to develop a lightning-fast metabolism that burns up fat quickly and leaves you feeling full of energy all day long.
•The real science of healthy fat loss that makes losing 1 – 2 lbs of fat per week not only easy, but guaranteed. All successful weight loss programs work thanks to these 3 simple laws, and you can put them to work right away.
•And more!
The bottom line is you CAN achieve that “Hollywood hunk” body without having your life revolve around it—no long hours in the gym, no starving yourself, no grueling cardio that turns your stomach.

I’m Mike and I’ve been training for nearly a decade now.
I believe that every person can achieve the body of his or her dreams, and I work hard to give everyone that chance by providing workable, proven advice grounded in science, not a desire to sell phony magazines, workout products, or supplements.
I’ve helped quite a few people achieve their health and fitness goals, and at their urging, I am sharing what I’ve learned and know works here in this website, and in my books.
So if you’re looking to get in shape and look great, then I think I can help you. I hope you enjoy my website and books, and feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions and I’ll do my best to help.
I would call it a good crisp read with more meaningful information than we often get out of such books or for that matter fitness magazines. Fitness magazines are more like a supplement sale catalogue these days, to that point you may want to just ignore the recommendations in the last chapter (which is btw a link to the author's products) but other than that some good advice that you can trust.
Loved the book for its precise, to the point approach. The author appears very confident about his recommendations...no beating around the bush. But as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating thereof. So, let me see how well these suggestions actually work!!
Great read. Solid information worth considering. No nonsense approach that you can believe in. Been using the lifting strategy for a couple months and it definitely works.
I mostly read this for the calorie ratio breakdown, and how to find the grams of protein to fat, to carbs that would work best for my body and workout routine. It's surprising how much is in here, and how much isn't--I'm constantly finding contradicting information or at least large gaps in information when it comes to diet.
This is a decent starting place, I recommend The Secret Life of Fat for some surprising, and helpful data about fat and what it does in your body. Few people truly understand the best way to eat, and fewer can stick to a healthy plan, even if they know it. I've learned a ton lately, and I'm still included in those who don't truly understand--I don't think we have enough data, and I think physiology varies person to person, making this a fascinating, and infuriating topic.
(I say this, having lost over 100 lbs, while eating *more* fat, and fewer vegetables--seems insane, but my bloodwork shows that I'm better for it).
Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap. Enough said, right? Basic info. Contradictory. Stupid. Common sense. Negative reinforcement, no helpful insights. Probably written by an out of shape nerd.
This book was very informative! Learned couple things that I did not know. It makes a lot of sense! Proper techniques on how to properly work out...effectively with out wasting your time. Good read for those that are starting out in the weight lifting arena.
Knew 95% of the information already. Good for newbies looking into weightlifting/losing fat. However, this book is really just a gateway book to his book that actually costs money :)
Everything is bad but him and his products. Instead of a sound quality information you get a lot of advertising of unknown products. And YOU pay for it.
