This is a masterfully crafted, no magic, slow burn spanning several years and yet somehow manages to never lag during its 180k+ word count. It’s hilarious and heart-wrenching and so thoughtfully constructed. I had an absolute blast reading it. I read it in one sitting (as it was more important than sleep...obviously).

The only thing this has in common with Harry Potter books is the character names and personalities, mostly (there are some parallels, of course cuz it's inspired by HP but that's what i think of it it'sinspired by not a copy of events or anything).

This is brilliant, to me. I love it. Gives me the warm fuzzies. Beautiful writing.

Omg, this was such a sweet, wholesome book. I thoroughly enjoyed the front portion of the fic detailing the start of Draco and Harry’s friendship and the thing about the river stone was simply beautiful. I absolutely adored the Snape and Narcissa depictions in this one, really really lovely. The author absolutely outdid themselves. Also I love a lot of the scenes in the book—some of them which are more vivid to me are Harry and Draco feasting over chocolate chip pancakes from Narcissa, botany classes, afternoons in the horse stables, the greenhouse scene where Snape and Harry talk while they cut the plants etc etc. Totally worth a reread, and superbly executed. Also it’s worth noting that while there are some smut scenes, they are easily skimmable for someone who doesn’t like smut that much. Otherwise absolutely wonderful Drarry fic :)) I love how Harry is portrayed as a child and the character development as well!!

On my Fave list. Very good plot, with nearly all the original characters of the HP world. Always adored Narcissa and Sev in it :))

This fan fiction has a very special place in my heart, as it is the first fan fiction I ever read. To this day it is my favourite, followed closely by HPMOR. The story is very sweet, and I enjoy re reading it every so often.
