Part 2

I was so heartbroken with Summer and Ben’s story - More With You - so when I found out that the next part would be released, I was very excited to read it.
I was certain that Erin Spencer would blow me away once more, yet I was sceptical for another heartache - and tbh for the grief.
Because, Ben was The One.
But, there are always second chances and it depends on us if we will take them and choose to move on...

Summer, ostensibly, was trying to move on with her life while her heartache was deep and agonising.
So many memories, so much grief and guilt, ate away at her peace of mind and soul.
Then, she met Rowan through her family environment. He was a wonderful character but Summer’s grief was holding her back. Furthermore, Rowan’s few issues along with Summer’s contributed to my not being able to continue reading.

I tried but I just couldn’t t process the enduring grief and sorrow.

Despite that I couldn’t finish it, it was a highly emotional story and beautifully written.

im sorry, this H is too eccentric for my liking. 😬 he wears bandana and mismatched shoes with cliché inspirational motto like “live, love, laugh” (or something, i forget the exact saying). hes awkward and has a way of putting his foot in his mouth. he also JOURNALS! but instead of writing his thoughts down, he does video logs or voice recordings. 🤭

i did enjoy seeing him totally simp and constantly fret over the h even though she kept pushing him away and treated him as nothing but her emotional crutch and human vibrator. 🤣 it was somewhat refreshing to have a H as the h’s second best for once...cause, often, its always the h being the Hs consolation prize.

this book isnt bad. however, i didnt favor it as much as the first one because this second one was too grief heavy. the first book ends in tragedy, but the romance leading up to that is mostly heartwarming. meanwhile, this book has a happy ending, but i couldnt bring myself to root for the romance because the h wallows in self pity too much imo and clearly hasnt moved on .

i didnt rate these books higher because i was not emotionally invested. i picked them up on a whim. wouldnt say im “glad” to have read this duet, but at least im two books down from finishing my GR Challenge. 🙃 the angst didnt get to me, but i would recommend the duet if youre looking for a heartbreaking story and finding love after immense loss.

Oh wow.

I have been anxiously awaiting the sequel to "More With You" since it broke me last fall. While "Evermore With You" CAN be a stand alone, it is much richer when you understand the context of the grief inside the story based on the author's real life.

*Second Chance Romance
*Life after losing someone
*Healing and grief
*HOPE
*He falls first
*SO SWEET!!!

This book picks up 2 years after the end of "More With You," and Summer is still deep in her grief from losing Daniel. She meets Rowan, and while he falls hard and fast, she isn't yet ready to begin a new relationship.

This story is deep in hearing about someone's grief and healing, moving on and letting go, and what it looks like for someone on the outside to love the one grieving.

It beautiful, heartwarming, charming and with the HEA we all want (although I still teared up several times).

I listened to the audiobook, performed by Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke. Ava is one of my FAVORITE female narrators and her tone and emotion were absolute perfection. Jason is also a top tier favorite and he brought the slightly awkward, anxious, overthinking, and SUPER SWEET Rowan to life.

HOPE is the biggest message I heard throughout this story. Hope that we all need.

All the feels! Evermore with You by Erin Spencer was a beautiful and emotional romance that tugged at my heartstrings in all the best places. Ever since finishing More with You, I’ve longed for Summer to finally get her second chance to find her own forever HEA. Rowan and Summer find something extraordinary and unique, and I loved every bit of their journey to true happiness.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook, and these two both gave heartfelt, moving performances. Ava embodied all things Summer, once again showcasing her vulnerabilities, ambitions, and passions as she learned to let go and love again. (squeeze my heart!) Jason gave a dreamy and admirable performance of Rowan conveying his awkward tendencies and charismatic demeanor. These qualities made me fall hard for Rowan. Plus, the budding attraction and steamy chemistry between these two was the perfect audio treat!

Overall, I LOVED this book! If you are a fan of a second-chance romance with an endearing hopeful heroine, a dedicated trusting hero, a loyal best friend, video diary therapy, a pin the tail on the donkey meet cute, coffee shop advice, art galleries in New Orleans, taking a second chance on love, returning to the beach cottage, taking a new chance on love, slow burn steamy times, starting a new family, a meddling Ms. T, and a HEA that will last evermore in your heart, then you will love Summer and Rowan’s story. I always look forward to more from Erin Spencer.

I was so excited when I heard we were getting a follow up to More With You! And I'm so happy to report that this lived up to every single expectation I had of it.

Summer tragically lost the love of her life two years ago. The last thing she is looking for is another. She is reintroduced to Rowan at her step-daughter's birthday party and they are drawn to each other. Both Summer and Rowan are hesitant for their own reasons, but sudden events push the two of them together and they quickly realize they are meant to be.

If there was ever a book to perfectly describe the found family trope, this is it. There's also a lot of emotion going on in Summer's mind, due to her losing her husband two years ago. This book is so incredibly written. I could picture every scene perfectly in my mind like I was watching it all unfold before me. I loved how Rowan kept his thoughts recorded, which was similar to what we saw with Ben in book one. I am so glad most of the characters from More With You were back in this one, especially the magical Mrs. T! I'm so glad Summer has her in her life.

Since we're being honest here, I'll admit I wasn't sure what I thought when I heard Jason Clarke was narrating this book. I knew it had to be different than the first, obviously, but I was just used to hearing Jason Clarke narrate darker or suspenseful romances. Hearing him narrate this book was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. Ava Erickson perfectly performs as Summer and all the emotions that come with her character.

You don't have to read the first book to read this one, but I strongly encourage it.

A big thank you to Home Cooked Books for this audiobook in exchange for my honest review 😊

How much more can an already shattered heart take? Is getting a second chance at love worth the risk? For Summer, grief is a constant reminder that happiness continually slips past her and that her heart has healed from so much loss. That is until Rowan comes into her life, and she is savoring and basking in the light that he brings. For the first time, in a long while everything about him begins to chase away her darkness and pain. She finds herself falling fast for him despite the grief that continues to hang over head. Will her grief continue to drown her, or will she find the courage to let go of the past and finally get her happily ever after?

As the second installment of the "More with You" duet, Evermore with You is based on real life events from the author's own life. Erin Spencer’s hopes, dreams, and vulnerabilities seep from the pages of this book. Her story of second chances at love is breathtakingly beautiful, it leaves her readers and listeners’ hearts full. Just like Summer, my heart went through all the emotions, happiness and sadness, joy, and sorrow. It truly was an honor to be able to go on Summer’s journey of letting go of the past and get the happily ever after she deserved with Rowan.

Evermore with You was brought to life by narrators Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson. To say that these two actors were perfect for these characters would be an understatement. They are the embodiments of this couple. Ava Erickson reprised her role as Summer, bringing all her vulnerabilities, passions, and emotions to light during this unbelievable journey. Every emotion can be felt by listeners through Erickson’s performance. Jason Clarke as Rowan was perfect. While he is naturally swoon-worthy, he brings out a different aspect to charisma that I can’t put into words. I couldn’t have asked for better leading man to help bring happiness to Summer’s life.

Finally! Summer gets her HEA!! ❤️

(Audio Review)
Evermore With You is the continuation of More With You by Erin Spencer, although it can be read as a standalone. It gives Summer the HEA that I’ve wanted for her since More With You!

This was such and emotional story but worth it! After More With You, Summer’s heart is shattered and she’s still dealing with grief and the darkness and pain that it brings. Can she heal and finally give love a second chance? I loved the journey we were taken on with this book. Rowan and Summer find happiness, and it was a pleasure to see finally! This book is loosely based on the author’s own real life story.

This was narrated by Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke. And both narrators were perfect in their roles as Summer and Rowan respectively. I felt the emotions that Ava Erickson brought to her reprised role as Summer; the passions, the vulnerabilities, it could all be heard through her voice and narration. Jason Clarke’s performance as Rowan was swoon-worthy and perfect! I definitely enjoyed my listening experience!

Another emotional and beautifully written story by Erin Spencer. I simply adored More with You when I listened to it and couldn’t wait for Evermore with you to come out. This book can be read as a standalone as well. Poor Summer has gone through so much. She thought she was destined to be alone. When she least expected it, Roman helped her learn to live again. Was so happy when they finally got their happy ever after. I really loved this story so much. It’s loosely asked on the author’s real life story. Ava Erikson and Jason Clarke were the perfect Summer & Roman. Their narration was amazing!

I really enjoyed this book!!! The first book - More With You ripped my heart out…this book put it back together.

This second chance at love is so beautifully told…both Rowan and Summer are dealing with things they are preventing them from moving on with their lives and finding peace. As they begin to spend time together they develop a beautiful friendship, sharing fears and past experiences in order to support one another.

You emotions will be take on a rollercoaster as there is sadness, fear, determination, love and hope with this story. Such a fantastic follow-up to the first book.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke deliver a phenomenal performance. Their voices are perfection for these characters. They give them fantastic emotion and personalities which bring this story to life.

When a second chance becomes a soulmate…

Story: 4 ⭐️s
Narration: 5 ⭐️s

Book 2 in Spencer’s More With You Duet was an improvement on Book 1, with the same strong emotions and likable characters, as well as an expanded and wonderful found family element; however, like it’s predecessor, there are similar flaws in structure and pacing. Though there is more from Rowan’s p.o.v. in book 2 than there was of Ben in book 1, and I enjoyed the similar technique of R’s therapy video diary entries to B’s written journal entries, I wish there had been more traditional story scenes for Rowan, or that at least that such moments had been more clearly separated from what was a journal entry. This is another very internal book, and we’re often in the MCs heads, which is fine and works given the subjects of healing and grief; however I wanted more plot and story moments from Rowan’s perspective without the interspersion of his recordings. The interiority hindered the pacing and the development of the central relationship on page, as the characters spent more time in their heads than with each other.

For me, Spencer’s execution of the found family trope was the stand out here. The connection between Summer and the family she gained from her relationship with Ben, but also with those who were already in her life, were really beautiful. There is a joy and a comfort in the idea that one can choose (and be chosen) by a family and doesn’t necessarily have to be born into one or put up with one that has hurt or failed you. Another well-executed element was the physical connection between the the MCs; Summer and Rowan’s chemistry was palpable. Even so, I do wish there had been more everyday moments with them as a couple before the third act upheaval, as it would have provided an added balance to see them as a compatible pair outside the bedroom.

Once again, for me, the audio production outstripped the story itself. Ava Erickson returns as Summer and this time she is joined by Jason Clarke as Rowan. Both performers handle the emotional journey of their characters with skill and precision. Each added depth to the MCs’ interiority, which was key since this was a story that spends so much time inside their thoughts; so having narrators like Erickson and Clarke who are so capable of believably portraying that self-reflection and vulnerability is a necessity.

Overall, despite some pacing and structural flaws, EWY is an emotional and enjoyable listening experience that I recommend.

I received an ALC copy of the audiobook via Home Cooked Books. All opinions are my own.

Cathartic for my soul

Oh my heart!! I wasn’t sure how my heart was going to take this story continuing. But Erin Spencer delivered a second chance that I think we all needed.

After the total and utter heartbreak that ended More With You, Summer DuCate had a hard time moving forward. Rightfully so, because after a love so great is lost how does one pick up & where do they go from there. Summer fulfilled her promises made to Ben and moved on to create the life they were supposed to create together. Little did she know the depth of his family mingling with her own life.

Rowan Lauder was a force when it came to getting the job done. But after a difficult time on a job assignment in Malaysia, he came home to figuratively nurse his wounds. He and Summer had met previously not long after tragedy consumed her life. Though she didn’t remember much from the meeting, she was someone that he could never forget. He was entranced by her beauty & her strength she didn’t even know she possessed.

Rowan is adorably awkward in the best of situations, & he is so sensitive and absolutely perfect to handle Summer with the gentleness that her heart needs & deserves. Though Summer feels a pang of guilt with her attraction to Rowan, it is also something she fights to overcome. My heart broke when she finally got to the point where she could let go of that guilt & pain. It took so much more of her heart & soul to move forward than you could imagine. If it wasn’t for her stellar support system she found in friends & Ben’s family, I’m not sure how she would have survived.

This book took my gutted form from More With You and slowly put it back together. Tears were still shed & early on, and every time Summer reminisced or heard Ben’s voice, my heart broke a little more. But the love shown to her by her chosen family of Lindsay, Grace, Oscar, Cybil, Miss T, Georgie, and certainly Rowan…they showed her that love can come in many forms. And just when you think you are beyond repair, that love can pick up those broken pieces & mend every part.

Rowan was a perfect second chance for Summer to find happiness. It was a battle well fought & it definitely had its ups & downs. But sometimes, the universe & fate have other plans, we just have to let go & let things happen.

Full disclosure…I have cried the entire time I’ve written this review. This book & the one that proceeded it has touched my soul, & it’s not even anything I can be mad about.

Oh my heart! Ever since I listened to More With You, I had been waiting for Summer to finally find happiness in life. She had found love, but it was taken away too soon.
It's poignant to walk with her in journey through loss and grief and to see her find her forever with Rowan. I loved how their romance developed, how important it was for Summer to live through her loss to finally be able to open her heart again. It was touching to get to know Rowan through his videos for his therapist, where he completely bares his soul and we get to see him figuring out that Summer is indeed the love of his life.
We go back to the cottage, we see the wonderful Mrs T again and even an evil character comes back from the past. Their tentative steps toward each other make us root for them from the start. All it took was a donkey and its tail...
Erin does put us through the wringer a bit close to the end, but rest assured that you'll have the warm and fuzzies. Since this is a fictionalized version of Erin's life, we also get to cheer for the "real" summer and smile knowing that she found her happy place.
Narration: Beautifully narrated by Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke in heartfelt performances. Ava reprises her role as Summer, showing us all her vulnerabilities, insecurities, her grief, but also her grit and and her will to "live" again. Jason is swoony and adorable with the somewhat dorky (the sneakers are cute!) and awkward but nonetheless irresistible Rowan. Perfection!

Possible triggers: grief, mentions of deathly vehicular accidents and hospitalization with life threatening injuries

I really loved this poignant and steamy love story! After reading the first book in this duet, More With You, I couldn't wait to find out where Summer's journey would take her. Her new life, while still experiencing moments of grief and loss, had even more moments of healing, joy and love. Summer is still heartbroken after two years from the loss of her husband. When she meets Rowan, she is attracted to his awkward charm, but isn't sure she can let go of the past, and risk her heart again. Rowan can't stop thinking about Summer, but she is the widow of his sister's ex, and also her best friend. With these complications, and secrets of his own, he holds back from pursuing her. He gives Summer space and time, with some super sweet and awkward encounters in between. But soon neither can deny the magnetic pull between them. But are they strong enough to overcome their pasts and fight for a second chance at forever love? This is an emotional love story that will break your heart and mend it at the same time. Summer was a great heroine who was strong, and resilient, and cared for everyone. Her struggle with overcoming her pain from loss, and guilt for wanting someone new, felt real and genuine. Rowan was so sweet, adorably awkward, and thoughtful. I loved peaking into what he struggled with through his earnest recordings. I loved both Rowan and Summer, and kept cheering for their HEA. Spencer’s writing is spectacular. I love her style, her characters, and the way she develops a world full of deep, heartfelt emotions that I eagerly get lost in.
Ava Erickson, and Jason Clarke's narration was fantastic. Erickson did a great job evolving Summer from heartbroken widow to a woman filled with hope, joy and passion. Clarke was phenomenal showing the many facets of Rowan, from his awkward, sweet side, to his struggles with his demons, to his loving, passionate, alpha swooniness. Both narrators embodied these characters perfectly making my heart race from beginning to end.
This beautiful, passionate and poignant love story takes you on an exhilarating journey that will leave you raw and breathless and totally satisfied!

“All I know of love is whirlwinds and tragedies.”

Eargasms, swooning spells, and ugly crying pretty much sum up my emotional rollercoaster while listening to Evermore With You by Erin Spencer. And I mean that in the most glowing, reverent, on the verge of tears just thinking about it way possible. I loved it, even when I was in a state and cursing Erin Spencer, I loved every second. After reading More With You this fall, my heart ached for Summer. Evermore With You was the healing readers have hoped for and more. Your favorite quirky, small-town faves are back and at their best in Evermore With You. Ms. T gets up to her meddling, matchmaking ways and has the Best advice! Rowan Lauder is just the swooniest cinnamon roll, hands down. Summer is a complex heroine whose HEA was ripped away, but fate wasn’t done with her. Two years after she was widowed, can she heal enough to make room to let love in again? If you like a he-falls-first, love after loss, emotional small-town romance, Evermore With You is a must-listen (after you listen to More With You). Based on her own life story, Erin Spencer has once again poured her heart and soul onto the page in the incredible conclusion to the More With You Duet.

Jason Clarke was sublimely cast as Rowan; he plays the awkward, vulnerable, sweet as sugar, passionate character perfectly. He brings a natural, adorkable charm to Rowan that is a delight to listen to. Ava Erickson gives an outstanding performance as Summer. Her passionate and heartbreaking portrayal of Summer draws you into every moment of the story. Jason and Ava are pure magic together and make Evermore With You a completely engaging, soul-marking aural experience.

My heart is so filled with love for this book.

Two years after Ben was tragically taken from the world, Summer is still struggling day by day with his loss and the grief and loneliness that are ever present shadows clinging to her in his absence. She meets Rowan at Grace’s birthday party. When the two start to spend time together, she starts to heal from the past and look to the future. It’s not an easy road for her emotionally, but Rowan gives her patience and understanding while helping her on that road to healing.

It has been a few days since I’ve listened to this book, and I still can’t come up with the words to do it justice or to express just how much I loved it. Though this book can be listened to or read as a standalone Summer’s love story started in “More With You” and that book destroyed me yet captured my heart completely and I just felt invested in Summer. So when I say I was thrilled for the opportunity to listen to Evermore With You I’m not overstating even a little. I wanted a HEA for Summer so badly, and getting to hear the next chapter in her journey to that HEA has just made me so happy. This story made me laugh, made me cry, and made me think. It deals with such powerful emotions like grief, fear, love, and hope in a beautiful heartfelt real and raw way. I loved Rowan. He was the perfect fit to help Summer heal, and I’m so glad she opened her heart to him.

I have read and listened to a lot of romance novels, and a lot of stories of other genre’s and I can honestly say “More With You” and “Evermore With You” will be amongst my all-time favorite books of all time. It was just so wonderfully written and a beautiful story. I can not recommend it enough. I wish I could give it all the stars.

And all the stars would go to Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke too. They deserve such high praise for their work voicing these characters and this story.  They were remarkable and delivered the type of performance that had me cling to every word. Just outstanding 👏

This lady can write! I loved More with You and this is the perfect addition to that story. It still has all the feels and addictive characters. At first I was hesitant about her finding a new guy…but who am I to say its too soon and I ended up crying a few tears as I went along on this journey with Summer. So I got over it and embraced Rowan and his video chats. They both are amazing and really pulled on my ol’ heartstrings multiple times. It was wonderful seeing all the old characters from the first book (especially Mrs T). This time we got a little more indepth look into a few of them.

While listening to this I went through a lot of emotions. I was overjoyed, saddened, surprised, shocked and tearful. There are a couple moments in here that would be SO hard to push through and if they are true I commend the author for coming out the other side. I was just shaking my head the whole time those situations were going on.

I listened to this on audio. Ava Erickson and Jason Clark are the narrators. I LOVED them both! Each one embodied their characters and I really could envision them. This story I was so excited to see but I also knew it would be hard on my heart. Guess what? I was right! A good strong story with wonderful characters trying to find their way.

Evermore With You is the emotional and poignant second chance romance follow up to Erin Spencer's More With You. While this book could be a standalone, it is so much more meaningful if you've read or listened to the first book. Our hearts broke with More With You, but they were put back together with Evermore With You.

This book takes place two years later and we find that Summer, while still grieving the loss of Ben, is ready to move on. She meets Rowan, who she unexpectedly feels a connection worth exploring with. In doing this, she needs to close the chapter on Ben which, as a listener who cannot relate, was truly heartbreaking. Rowan is patient and understanding about where Summer is at and is ready to share space in her heart with the memory of Ben.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke narrate as Summer and Rowan. I don't know what it is about listening to Ava, but she brings out the beauty and emotion in every story. Jason is so good as Rowan and brings out his awkwardness with such charm. They were so good together and I highly recommend listening to the book!

You know, some books you need to reread again to remind you of what happened when you are about to dive into book two. That wasn’t the case with this book. More with You was engraved on my heart, and I was able to dive right in and remember everything…including how I felt.

I sit here having just finished listening to Evermore with You with the biggest smile on my face. It was such a beautiful story about grief, living with it, and carrying on with your life. If you read/ listened to More With You, you will know that book tore at the heart. And this one does too, in a different way. But this one gives us the happy ever after we were craving. Although, there was a moment there when I thought Erin Spencer was seriously trying to destroy my heart. Thankfully, she pulled me through, as I knew she would. Erin’s writing is raw, beautiful, and captivating, and to know it is based of her real life makes it that much more special.

Ava Erickson is back and joined by Jason Clarke. I don’t think I could have picked two better voice actors for this story if I tried. They were both fantastic but Ava steals the show. The way she conveyed the grief the character was feeling, especially the scene in the water, was enough to have me crying in public. But they also brought a smile to my face.

What I found most interesting about this book was how the two characters ended up meeting. I've never read anything like it. This book was an emotional read with some humor. I adored the main character. She had been going through a lot and really needed to work through her past and I thought the author gave us a very good progression of that. I think the two main characters really helped each other through what each of them was going through. The ending hit me with a twist I was not expecting and it broke my heart a little but then put it all back together at the end.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke made the audiobook enjoyable. I loved how Jason voiced the "diary entries" and I thought especially at the end when everything began to unravel Ava did such a great job voicing the heartache.

I’m evermore with all the feels with this duet. I was 100% in love with Summer’s love story in “More with You” and I could not hold in my excitement when this story was announced. “Evermore with You” is a sweet, emotion filled and heartfelt second chance romance after losing your first love.

It’s been two years since Summer lost Ben and she’s living day to day as best as she can. Still very much involved in Ben’s daughter’s life, Grace, and she meets Lindsey’s brother, Rowan. When her heart starts to beat again and she finds herself attracted to him, she feels like she’s betraying Ben. But as the two spend time together, her soul starts to heal and she realizes it’s okay to move on and be happy.

Oh my heart, I have been so invested in this story and I’m so happy that Summer got her happy ending. Erin Spencer wrote such a beautiful story based on her actual life and her hope and vulnerabilities shined through with her writing. The story has happy moments, sad moments and moments that made my heart feel so full. I loved going on this journey with Summer and Rowan was the second chance she needed and deserved. Rowan’s POV chapters were so beautiful and brought so much insight to their love story.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke narrated this story and brought the story to life so beautifully. Ava was perfect as Summer and I could listen to her all day bringing such amazing stories to life. Jason was swoony and made me love Rowan so much. They embodied Summer and Rowan perfectly and this duet will be a relisten for me for many years to come.

Elegant words and poignant touching moments describe this book by the talented Erin Spencer perfectly. This book mended my heart after it shattered for Summer’s grief and loss in book 1. I listened to this book with a smile on my face and an unshed tear in my eye as Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke masterfully delivered heartfelt and vulnerable narrations of Summer and Rowan’s characters. Evermore with You by Erin Spencer is a beautifully written book! All the feels with living with grief yet still moving forward in life having hope and finding love. A story that captured my attention and you could feel the love and pain pouring through the words as the author shares her story. This story and characters will forever have a place in my heart. Summer and Rowan were meant to be and their connection was special.

Narrated by Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke .... The Narration was perfect and had me feeling all the things!

Holy crap this author is amazing. This book is just as good as More With You, if not better. I really liked the conversation Summer had with Sybil. Be prepared to ugly cry, I sure did. I love Erin Spencer's writing, I need to look at her other books. I like Summer and Rowan so much, I hope I there's another book with them but I am doubting it. The narrators did such a good job with these characters. Ok now when are the movies for these books coming out?

Evermore With you is the second book in this duology, though it can be read as a standalone. This is the first book of Erin's i have read, and i really liked this story.

Summer is still heartbroken after two years
from the loss of her husband. When she meets Rowan. She is attracted to him, but isn't sure she can let go of her past and risk her heart again.

This is an emotional love story that will break your heart and mend it at the same time.

This the second installment in The More With You Duet, a sequel to the emotional, and unforgettable More With You story. This second chance romance is beautifully written, emotional, and engaging. I liked the friendship in this story. Ava Erickson, and Jason Clarke are perfect as Summer and Rowan. They brilliantly bring this story to life. I HIGHLY recommend it. #HumanVoice #Audibook #HomeCookedBooks #ContemporaryRomance

I absolutely adored this story. My heart shattered for Summer after More with You. This story put my heart back together again.

I loved that Summer was able to have the unique extended family with her stepdaughter and Ben’s ex. The whole situation was complex but they made it work without it being awkward. They all lost someone when they lost Ben and could definitely relate to each other.

Seeing Summer be able to move on and find something special again just touched my heart. Rowan opened up her heart and mind to the possibility of love again. He also understood her loss and that he wasn’t competing against Ben. Loved these two so much.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke’s performances were outstanding as always. I loved the way they brought Summer and Rowan to life.

My heart was full after devouring this story.

I absolutely loved this book just as much, if not more than the first one. You will definitely need tissues for this one because your shirt sleeve/collar won’t be enough! Just like with book one, you will be immersed in this dual first person POV story feeling all the heartbreak, grief, fear, healing, love and so many other emotions.

I thought I loved Summer in the first book, but this second one? Man she stole my heart. I was breaking right alongside her the whole entire time. I loved the relationship she had with Ben’s family and how sweet and caring she was, even through her pain. I am so proud of her for overcoming all of her challenges and still being the loving and caring person she is.

I loved Ben and their whirlwind love, but Rowan completely stole my heart just like he did with Summer’s. I loved his quirky personality and his fashion sense. I want a pair of those shoes! I loved his “ramblings of a mad man” videos. I love how he accepted Summer’s issues and gave her the space and pushes she needed.

Ms. T was by far my favorite side character, with Grace a close tie for the first! Ms. T had me laughing and crying, all while giving me a few life lessons too. I know this story is based off the author’s, Erin Spenser, real life and not all things that happened in these two stories were exactly what happened to her. But I must say, if she experienced what Summer experienced with BOTH, Ben and Rowan, there are no words to describe how strong she was to handle those situations. I am so glad that both Erin and Summer were able to get their HEA that they absolutely deserved. I really hope that Erin had/has a Ms. T in her life. I’m envious if she does because that one scene with her and Ms. T in this book near the end, when you read you’ll know, was so heartbreaking and healing all at the same time and my favorite one.

I’m definitely going to be thinking about that scene and these books for days, months and years to come. When I find myself in a situation I don’t think will get better, I know I will be looking back to these two books and reminding myself if they can, I can!

I received an advanced readers copy via NextStep PR. These thoughts and opinions are my own and left voluntarily after reading for my own enjoyment.

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke’s incredible narration transported me into this place filled with loss and hope. Can you listen to this book on its own? Yes, but I promise you it’s so much better if you’ve listened to More With You first. This story is everything. It’s raw and real and just when I think my heart will forever be lodged in my throat it takes a turn and I can exhale. “Live big, love bigger.”

This is the follow up to the first book and is a second chance story. I had thought maybe this book with grab me more than the first but it simply just comes down to lack of chemistry and an OK storyline.

Wish I had had this book sooner!
**I received an ALC of this book and wrote this review voluntarily.

This is book 2 in the More With You duet. Although both books are fiction, they are both based off the author’s real life love story. The first book, More With You, was a heartbreakingly, beautifully written book about finding the love of your life and then having him tragically ripped from it.
Evermore With You mended my heart with another beautifully well written story by Erin Spencer.

This book gripped me from page one. Everyone grieves on their own time and in their own way and this book shows that it’s not always easy to move on. I had tears, laughter and a swooning heart with this one. There was even a little bit of suspense. I love all the side characters too.

The narrators are 2 that are on the top of my list:

Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke deliver a powerful, heartfelt and vulnerable performance of the characters, Rowan and Summer. As well as the quirkiness from the side characters.

This small town, second chance at love story will bring tears to your eyes and put a smile on your face. It’s one that will stay with me for a long time.

Thank you for putting your heart on the pages for us to enjoy Erin Spencer.
