Watched a Smithsonian documentary on the Polar Bears at Churchill, Manitoba which reminded me of my dozen visits to this arctic town beginning back in 1969. Great memories! So my natural response was to go back and read one of my books on the wildlife and memories of this unique place which made this read even more enjoyable. Had the opportunity years ago to meet the author and her husband and their predecessor, Blanche Smith.
