Lilly has always been plagued by dreams; she dreams of another place and time, a place of pure beauty and light that suddenly erupts into fire and destruction.

Then, there is a man with the haunting blue eyes that seem to look through to her very soul. In one fateful afternoon Lilly learns that the dreams are more real than she could've ever imagined. They are a link to who she really is; the Gatekeeper to the realms. Born from both light and dark, with her memories bound, she learns that it is her destiny to gather the relics of the flower of life. Lilly must do this in order to close the gates before the under realm destroys them all, but there are those who will stop at nothing to keep her from fulfilling her destiny.

There are those who will try to sway her into the dark. She is torn between the love of two brothers; one, her loyal warrior, who has loved her since the beginning, and the other with the enthralling blue eyes that speak to her soul. One brother fights for the light, while the other fell into the darkness. Will she choose the brother that her soul longs for, or the brother that her heart calls out to?

I see pictures and images that come alive in my mind. That's where my stories come from. I have the innate ability to be able to hit the pause button and then continue on when I want to see what happens.
I have been a storyteller my entire life. In the times when I was in need of an escape, I was able to create a world of my own to hide for a while.
I have dealt with many traumatic life events in recent years, and I believe that my way of coping with it all has been to sit down and write. I pour every emotion that I am feeling at that moment into the words on the screen. The stories just take on a life of their own. So, now I want to share with the rest of the world, the world in which I create, and hope that it helps the reader to escape into a fantasy of their own.

I have wanted to read Destined for quite a while, the cover alone is intriguing and after reading it I know what it stands for. I could tell Jenna Pizzi put a lot of thought and creativity in this story, I mean I would never come up with relics, mayan ruins and The Flower of Life all coming together. Each time Lilly was revealed something from her past or destined future, I felt like there was a new twist, I loved reading each new dilemma unfold and all the drama that surrounded each new chapter. I loved the characters each one brought something different to the table. Samil I despised, I loved Seth, my heart went out for Keith and I wanted to pummel Usha and Tangela, never the less they each played a part and did so perfectly. There were several different characters in this story and sometimes that can become confusing however, that wasn't so with Destined. I wouldn't mind reading a prequel of the love triangle between Samil, Seth and Lily or even Ezikiel and DreDerdekea. I really liked this series very captivating, I can't wait to see what comes next especially with the way it ended. I hope Lilly will be able to win Caleb over, I can see him having so much potential.

My first comment after reading the first chapter of this book was “Who the crap is Jenna Pizzi?”Ok Ok Truthfully I called her Jenny Pizza or something like that. LOL! I go to Jodie and ask her to get me some info on this little Author. I will however tell you now, I will never forget her name now! Impact will always leave traces!!! From start to finish I am in the middle of action, love, friendship, decisions, impending battle till the very end! Then the Author smacks me with a giant cliffhanger!

When you first open the book, you are forced to look at dark cloaked creature out the window.
Heaven forbid, you have to take out the trash to the dumpster. You will literally have to jump into the dumpster to get away from the freakin growling boogie man!

Lilly has tremendous choices to make! For such a young girl she has a heavy load on her to carry around. Her dreams refuse to let her sleep without waking up screaming, unless she is getting flashes of her soul mate. Lilly has human boyfriend Keith, who really loves her, however she is missing a certain connection. Lilly soon meets her Seth, who saves her life from a car almost running her over. Seth is a warrior. He will protect Lilly with his own life. So now we have Keith, we have Seth.....hold on a minute people, please let me introduce Mr. Soul mate. Yes, she finds herself tangle in a triangle of emotions! The only thing these three guys have in common is their love for Lilly! One is secretly in love with her, one is her current boyfriend, oh and the one who is her soulmate, he is ******** not telling you sorry!!!
Lilly is hoping that she will be able to save one of them. Amy her best friend, who is like a sister. My question for you is...With Lilly’s life tumbling out of control, what do you think Amy will choose? To stand beside Lilly? Run as far away as she can? I refuse to give always spoilers. Oh wait I forgot to throw in Caleb, try to figure out how he plays into all this!

Once secrets start coming unraveled, she will start to question is she a tool for the war. Allies will be forged together, We also have enemies that will start going in different directions when back against the wall to choose good or evil!

This Author has certainly built a world, that all of us need to read about! I have looked around myself about this author and I am only finding this one book! If this is her actual first book!!! Good grief, the rest will definitely be awesome!

I had such mixed feelings while reading this book! Too be honest I don't know whether I loved it or liked it! There were times while I was reading it where I was dying to read on and then there were times when I just wanted to put it down! I was a little up and down with the plot as well too be honest! I really enjoyed it to start with and then by the end it had me slightly confused and it took me a while to wrap my head around it! Also, this book had my pet hate in it! The dreaded, "I am" instead of "I'm" and other worlds not abbreviated! This is a complete personal thing! I just prefer books that's words are abbreviated and I sometimes find it distracting when a book isn't abbreviated! The plot was great, but strange! it took me a while to get used to it and to completely understand it! I enjoyed it though! It was quite original and had a lot of potential, even though it was a bit confusing! The characters were also great! Lilly was the main character and I liked her! Sometimes her attitude in this book kind of annoyed me, but she redeemed herself by the end of the book! Lilly took me a while to connect with, but I enjoyed her character as I connected with her more! I found Lilly to be a genuine person and I loved how determined she was! Seth was the love interest of Lilly and he was hot! I loved how from the moment they met how protective he was of Lilly and how much he was prepared to give up for her! I was really happy that Seth was the main male character as well! There was a love triangle in this book between Lilly, Seth and Samil! I was Team Seth, but at certain points of the book I had a severe soft spot for Samil! It was so weird reading this book from about five different point of views! I found it better as I could understand the plot more, but also it was hard for me to sometimes know who's point of view I was reading from! It would have been better if it had said at the top who's point of view it was! I will continue reading this series, but I probably won't add the next book to the top of my to be read list! It will be on there though! The cover initially made me want to read this book! It's stunning! Big thank you to Jenna for a copy of Destined and to Amber for having me on the Blog Tour!

No No No, I kept pressing the buttons on my kindle and there were no more pages left but there has to be, it just can't end like that. Talk about one doozy of a cliff hanger ending, I couldn't quite believe it happened, where did they go? I was captivated by Lilly from Chapter 1 and found myself on a roller coaster ride of tumultuous emotions. She is a gatekeeper, a mix of dark and light destined to seal the gates and save the realms or if she chooses the dark then she will destroy them. No pressure right as it is not everyday someone tries to kill you twice and then magically Seth appears, her own warrior guardian informing her that she must find the relics and seal the gate as it is her destiny. She was reborn a blank slate and when she came of age, her powers were revealed and the race was on, the battle would begin again. Lilly had a life before all the craziness started, Keith her cute human boyfriend whom she just did not feel that spark with but he made her feel loved and then there was Amy her BFF who was like a sister to her and would stand by her regardless of the outcome. Lilly's dreams had her waking up screaming yet also dreaming about a man who made her soul ache to be with him but having no recollection of their past. Lilly's memories are coming back in flashes and with Seth's help she begins to understand the journey ahead of her. Torn between three men who are so different yet united in their love for her, it is an impossible task to even begin to sort out how she really feels and even if she could choose, would it make a difference? Caleb is on the warpath determined to change the outcome of this fight, he is playing to win and planning to stack the deck in his favour yet his truth has Lilly wishing she could save him. Secrets will be revealed that will cause her to question whether she is just a pawn in this age old war. Alliances will be forged, enemies will change sides and all bets are off in the battle of good versus evil.

“Kill them. I don’t get it. Aren’t they immortal?” She asked him “Nothing is truly immortal, Lily. We don’t have time like the Earth realm dose, so we age slower.”

Romantic and action packed.

Destined will leave you breathless and wanting more, Jenna really knows how to pull you into a story and then kill you with a cliffhanger! I can’t wait for the 2nd book. I love the strong characters and the challenges they come to face. The story was wonderful I did not even realize I was at the end of the book and when I did I still kept looking for more. It’s amazing how much emotion you feel while reading Destined, I laughed, cried and sometimes I even yelled at my e-reader. I’ll defiantly be reading more books by Jenna.

Lilly has been though a lot, she lost her parents at the age of 12 and her best friend Amy has been there for her every step of the way. Her boyfriend Keith is a complete sweetheart and will do anything for Lily he loves her to death. But things are changing and changing fast and soon things will not be what they use to be.

A trip to the local coffee place turns into a disaster, as Lily is walking over there she is almost run down by a car. Out of nowhere this guy grabs her out of the way, He introduces himself as Seth and he’s here for a security job and he will be around town till his job is complete.

Lily starts to slowly remember past lives and finds out what she really is, as she journeys to save the world from the forces of Hell. But will she live to find all the relics? And what about the 3 men who love her, who will she pick she soul mate, the human or the man who’s always been secretly in love with her?

I received this book from the author to give an honest review.

This is one of those books, that will have you from the very beginning. You will want to stay up all night to finish this book, and then be a bit sad when it ends.

Destined is about a girl name Lilly who never knew she was different or had a destiny in life. All she knows is that she has crazy dreams that she normally can not remember until now. All of a sudden she is thrown into a whole new world of daemons, and fighting for good against evil. While all this is going on she has the love of three guys who she does not want to hurt at all. They all three play a part in her life along with her best friend Amy. Lilly has powers that she is just finding out about and developing new ones along the way.

Between the male characters of Keith, Seth, and Samil it was really hard to pick who I liked more. Keith is very very sweet and caring. Seth is her protector and will give his life for her. Samil is her soul-mate but he is evil. The position she is in, is not a good position to be in.

Torn between the light and darkness she embarks on a journey to end the darkness with her friends. Will she be able to conquer it?

The only thing I found that was a wrote wrong was when Lilly met the fisherman Enrique, and then a page or two later called him Carlos. I had to go back and re-read a few times to see if it was a different character and it was not.

I can not wait to read book 2 because I definitely wanted more when Destined ended. If you enjoy reading action-packed, the paranormal, good vs. evil then please pick up this book. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Jenna did an amazing job with this book. After I finished, I sat there and stared at the cover. Once you read it, you will understand what it all means. Everything was so well thought out and even her past/future was explained where you didn’t get lost. Lots of characters, but they all play a major part in this series and it’s so easy to tell who is who.

Lilly, her best friend Amy, her human boyfriend Keith, a healer Tangela (who I wanted to punch a few times), and Seth a warrior set to protect Lilly at all costs, sets out on a journey to collect relics that only she knows where they are. When she finds all she needs, she has to face the Tree of Life, which will tell if she stays pure light, or turn dark. She knows Seth from her past life, along with his brother, her soul mate, Samil. Who doesn’t like a love/hate triangle? WOW!
Caleb is her doppelganger, and is pure dark taunts her at every turn. A few I wanted to punch, Ezekil, Usha and Caleb and Lilly’s soul mate. There are a few things he said in the book that has me questioning his place in the realms, but all will be revealed later (I hope)…

This whole book brought up a wave of emotions from beginning to end. Friendships form, love emerges, decisions are made, and lets not forget the whole reason why Lilly is a part of this. To save the world from turning to darkness and having hell rise. I am not much for a cliffhanger, but this one was great! I can’t wait to read the next book (Which a little birdie told me December, so cross your fingers) and see what happens next. I want so many things to happen in this series, but I know the story will be amazing no matter what!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

What a fantastic new look into the realms of Heaven, Hell, Angels and the Underworld. This book explores myths and legends that come alive right on the page. A new twist on creation and the past battles for world domination on Angelic levels, the Author has left nothing to chance. A doomsday thriller that is unique and different. The Author's rich writing style and character development make this a well rounded story that will have you pulled in right from the start. Action, romance, magic, parallel universe travel... you will experience it all.

With the bed of activity focused in a small college town in Massachusetts, Lilly is about to find out that she is literally the key to the survival of humankind. Since the mysterious death of her parents, Lilly has had to go to therapy to come to grips with it and her vivid dreams that seem so real like they could shred the shirt right off your back! But what she uncovers after a near death experience is something that no one will believe! She has a knight to rescue her, a soul mate that has waited eternity for her, and a man who would die for her. She is a pawn playing in a game that she has no chance of winning unless she can come up with someway to make a change. Pulling on her past lives experience she is one woman bound and determined to get what she wants in the end this time. But Caleb, her doppelganger, may just have his own version of happy endings...

A great story and I can't wait to see what happens next!

this is a VERY good book this book captivated me from the beginning!!!
Lilly has had dreams for as long as she can remember, they have haunted her. Lilly was raised by humans though she is born from Light and Dark..she has a major journey ahead of her. She finds out more about her dreams and why she keeps having them. Lilly is the Gatekeeper of all the Realms... Maidstone (heaven) and Hyvania (hell) have been having battles to see who would take over all the realms. Lilly must use her magic and abilities to fight the forces of evil and locate all of the relics of the Flower Of Life. Once Lilly finds all the relics, all realms will remain in order. In another life, Lilly has fallen in love with 2 brothers; Samil and Seth. Samil left Lilly to be with the darkness; Samil chose evil over good and left Lilly heartbroken because Samil is her soulmate. Seth is of good; he was the one that rescued Lilly from Samil's pain. Seth has Lilly's heart. Samil can only be with Lilly in her dreams. Seth is her warrior and helping her along her journey. Caleb is also of light and dark, but he is more of the dark. Will Caleb stop Lilly from finding the relics? Will Caleb get to the relics first so that way Hell can finally rule over all the realms and evil can finally win the battle? Who does Lilly choose, Samil whom is her soulmate or Seth whom her heart longs for???
You will have to read it.. I loived this book.. I want book 2 so badly

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lily has always been plagued by dreams; she dreams of another place and time, a place of pure beauty and light that suddenly erupts into fire and destruction. Then, there is a man with the haunting blue eyes that seem to look right through her very soul.

Having lost her parents in a tragic house fire, her parents best friends took Lily in. Her dreams have been put down to her traumatic past, and over the years Lily, with the help of her counsellor, has pushed them into the background and accepted them as her imagination. When a gorgeous man saves her from being run down, she can’t help but feel the connection with him – and that’s when things start getting crazy. Lily realises she is a gatekeeper, and is destined to save the world.

With plenty of action, romance, love, friendship and adventure, you’ll follow the characters through a roller coaster of a ride. You’ll fall in love with each of the main male characters for different reasons, and the females can all hold their own.

The book ends in a cliff hanger, and will leave you wanting the next instalment to see what’s in store for all the characters.

Wow, I could not put this book done! Three men and I can't decide if I love Samil, Seth or Keith. Argh... decisions decisions!! Their is also the dark doppleganger Caleb that is bad boy mysterious. What can I say about Lily? She is an awesome female lead in this book which is left at a cliffhanger. Darn those but love them since I am antsy for the next one. This is a great paranormal romance adventure! I love it! I can't wait to see what will happen next!

The book is about an adopted girl named Lily who is in college with her roommate/ best friend Amy. Lily starts experiencing some weird crap and is fighting for her sanity. Lily dreams of a tall dark man named Samil in her dreams that her body and soul long to be with. One day, she meets a handsome stranger named Seth when he rescues her and their is instant chemistry and familiarity to him. Keith is jealous. hee hee Lily then learns from Seth what her true identity and destiny are. Will she be strong enough for the journey? Will Caleb beat her and plunge the world to darkness? I give this book a 5 STARS!!! Must read!

“Destined” by Jenna Pizzi
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Even though I have read Heaven vs. Hell and Angels vs. Demons style books before, I found “Destined” to be unique in its own way. I liked the way Author Jenna Pizzi wrote this story and created ideas and twists to make it an original angel vs. demon story. Overall, I give “Destined” 4.5 STARS and recommend it to all Paranormal Romance readers.
Lilly is just a normal college girl, with her biggest issue being to get to class on time – or so she thought. One day, everything she knew about life was turned upside down…but at the same time, things began making more sense. Lilly had vivid dreams her entire life that was based on who she really was; problem is…she never remembered them when she woke up. Armed with her best friend, boyfriend, and stranger she just met but feels like she knew forever, Lilly sets out to find the puzzle pieces. The pieces begin to fall together and you will never believe the complete picture – Lilly sure is having a hard time with it at least. Danger. Destiny. Love Triangles. Read the 4.5 STAR book “Destined” by Jenna Pizzi to uncover the past and learn all the secrets involving Lilly’s life. Also, find out if she will follow her heart or her soul when it comes to love.
I really enjoyed “Destined.” I immediately loved the characters from the very beginning. Lilly was a great girl, and I felt bad for her at times. I can’t imagine having no idea who I really was when there were people around that knew the truth. It would be so frustrating! I thought Lilly had great friends also. They were there for her no matter what, even though it wasn’t really directly their battle. They showed such strong loyalty that it made me want friends like that. As for the love interests in her life…that was a mess! I don’t even think I can call it a love triangle since there were three guys after Lilly’s heart. The normalcy of her human life wanted one man, her soul craved one, and her heart ached for another. It was very complicated. I personally want Lilly to end up with the man her heart is after…Seth. He has always been there for her in good times and bad, he protects her as a warrior, and he is on the side of Light. I want Lilly to be happy with whoever she chooses, but I also don’t want Seth to get his heart broken.
“Destined” is one of those books that I read quickly because I was so into the story that I didn’t want to stop reading for long. I only stopped when it was necessary. I love when a book is so good that I begin to care for the characters as if they were real people and not fictional characters in a book. I cannot wait until the second book in this series. I would want to read it anyways, but with the major cliffhanger ending "Destined," book two is now a definite MUST. Jenna Pizzi is a talented author and I suggest you add her work to your To Be Read List. Paranormal Romance /Fantasy fans will really enjoy this 4.5 STAR book!

After Lilly gets saved by a stranger she finds out the dreams that have always plagued her may not just be dreams. The places she dreams of that are so beautiful that always end up bad are real. She is the key to finding relics and closing the gate to keep both places from destruction. She also has to deal with two brothers who both love her and have known her forever. One is for the light and one is for the dark both love and want her. Her life has become very complicated.

This is one book you won't want to put down. So much goes on and happens you never want it to end. From the start you begin the journey along with Lilly to get her memories back and relive her past as she searches to figure things out. Her regular friends are not to be forgotten and I will say I loved them as well. Amy even when she has bad things going on was still there for Lilly. Keith is the human boy Lilly dated for years. He is so sweet and always wants what is best for her. Samil and Seth both want Lilly as well. Yeah I know most of us are tired of the love triangle thing but this is different than others. There is a lot of past to take into consideration. I admit I at times I was torn of who I wanted her with. Of course there is lots of action in the book as the struggle between good and evil heat up. I won't give spoilers but a lot happens in this book. Most of the time you never see what is going to happen and a few times I was shocked. The ending left me begging to know what is going to happen next. If you love a story with angels, demons and more be sure to give this one a try. You won't want to put it down.

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
When I first started reading this book I was drawn in by the mystery of it all, and the concept was really cool. I feel like I have read a lot of books about the end of the world and the fight of good vs evil and I don't want to fault the author for that cause that really isn't her fault and I will say this story had a different spin to it and a few things that set it apart. The pace started off good and I was trucking along but after a while it hit a bit of a wall for me, I think the biggest thing was Lily and all her suitors, I mean I get that she has had past lives and it creates a history but it made for a lot of complaining and hurt feelings all around and I got a little annoyed with the whole thing.
I liked how the battle of good and evil was not just fought on a global scale but Lily also fought an internal battle to prove she was good. Seth was by far my favorite I always have a soft spot for the guardian/warrior and Samil made me very very suspicious. It was nice to see Lily had such a great support group around her and I was NOT happy with her decision...never go off alone I have read enough books to know that it never ends well.
Overall this was a good book but it had something missing for me and like I said a bit to much love drama. The concept was neat and I am curious about what could be next. The ending was very mysterious and leaves the reader wondering.

Lilly is haunted by her dreams. She finds herself lost in a world that seems familiar, yet so distant. Then there is the familiar stranger with the spellbinding blue eyes. She can forget herself in those eyes. When he touches her, she can feel him as he caresses her skin. When she wakes up, she feels as though a piece of her soul is missing.
On one fateful afternoon, while on her way to meet her best friend Amy, and her boyfriend Keith, she is nearly killed when a car tries to run her down. From that moment on, her life as she has known it is instantly changed. She learns that she is from the place in her dreams. A place of light named Maidstone.
She is then told the story of the age old battle between light and dark, and that it is her destiny to protect the realms.
When she begins to regain her memories, she recalls the man from her dreams is real. His name is Samil and they had given their souls to one another. When their fate tears them apart she finds comfort in the arms of his brother Seth, her warrior.
Her destiny sets her on a journey to locate the relics of the flower of life. She must bring them together in order to seal the gates between the realms, and save the realms. Along the journey her will is tested, as is her heart. This is book one in the Destined series.

I was given this book in return for an honest review. Lily has dreams, dreams that start out in a beautiful world and end up a nightmare of burning and ruin and blue eyes searing into her. Lily finds out she has a destiny to fulfill. She finds that she is from the dark and the light, she is the gatekeeper to the realms. Her destiny is to find the relics of the Flower of life so she can close the gates before the underrealm destroys everything and everyone. She has those working against her and those helping her, but some she isn't sure about. Things are a bit compicated by the fact that she has to choose between 3 boys, her human boyfriend (Keith) and 2 brothers(Samil and Seth). Then there is Caleb who is the dark badboy and she has to figure out where he fits into everything. I liked this book it has great characters, a really neat story and a cliffhanger ending. So now the wait is on for the next book so we can see what happens next. This book does have religious undertones but they are really a part of the story that makes it the great book that it is.

Destined by Jenna Pizzi was about a girl (Lily) who finds out that she is the Gatekeeper to the realms. Lily must find the Flower of Life relics so that she can close the gateway before the under realm takes over and destroys the other realms. Lily’s love life is a bit complicated because you have her human boyfriend Keith, her warrior, Seth and her soul mate Samil who she has feelings for. (Seth and Samil are brothers who have always vied for Lily’s love) You also have Caleb who could also become someone she will develop and nurture a relationship with during the series. You can tell that this book is going to be intriguing and full of entanglements. Jenna Pizzi writes a different and unique story with her impressive writing style and the fabulous development of her characters. Her writing sucks you in and makes you feel for these characters. I can not wait to find out where this series goes. Great read! 4.5 stars

WOW!!! This was an excellent book. From start to finish the author has drawn into the book along with the character's I hadn't read the blurb for this before reading and was actually quite shocked as two of the main character's are called Lilly and Caleb (which happen's to be 2 of my own children's names) Also one of the places they go to is called Maidstone which isn't far from where I live lol
This book ends onn a cliff hanger and definitely leaves you wanting to read the next installment.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. This review may contain spoilers. Lily is in college and meets a few people she is sure she knows. As the story continues you find out she is the gate keeper and has to save the world from darkness. Lily has three boyfriends, one is her soul mate, one her warrior and then there is the human. The book does end on a cliff hanger! I hope she figures out which boyfriend she wants and is able to save the day ;) WaAR

The aspect of this book is unlike your average paranormal book. It's the balance between good and evil and the one person who can help keep it. Lilly has a huge destiny ahead of her. The story captures you from the beginning and holds your interest. Angels, Demons, Fate, much much more. It was a great read.

*I received this book via Lady Amber’s Tours in exchange for an Honest Review*

This book has potential.. The story has a great concept behind it.. But… It needs a lot of work to bring out the full potential of the story…
One thing in this book that irked the hell out of me was after the reader is told Lilly has to get the Flower of Life… it is forever deemed FoL after that.. NO ONE would say FoL in a conversation especially not some immortal beings, nor would it be deemed as such in the narration, yet it is constantly in this story. They’d call it by it’s proper name. This small slight made me twitch every single time I came across it.
Another bigger thing that irritated me is the lack of research done. If someone is going to use demons, or daemons in a story, at least have the knowledge behind the ones you’re going to use. I saw the same person first referred to as a daemon and then as a demon. They are not the same thing. Just as a male seduction demon is not a succubus, its an incubus. Yet they come across a male seduction demon and when Lilly asks what it is she’s told it’s a Succubus… No.. It’s an Incubus. Research is a vital key to a books success or downfall. Obviously people who are not aware that Succubi can not be anything other female won’t notice the error, but as an author do you really want to give your readers false information?
Other than those I spied a few errors here and there nothing drastic. The story itself is an interesting one, but it was unable to hold my attention for very long due to the bigger errors and it took me much longer to finish it then it should have. I found the characters speech to be almost mechanical and robotic. I can understand Tangela, Batya, Derdekea, and even Seth and Samil speaking without the use of contractions, but I know not a single teenager or young adult in our modern times that would say “do not in lieu of don’t or they are instead of they’re”.
With this in mind, I believe this story while it has a ton of potential to be amazing, again, the over all story line is definitely amazing.
Please don’t get me wrong, This story has so much potential that even despite the big issues, I still had to finish it. The storyline is well thought out and put together beautifully, and if it wasn’t for the three things I mentioned earlier, I’d have given this book a 5.
However, due to the lack of research on some of the main evil doers and the robotic, almost forced like speech of the main characters, mixed with its inability to hold my attention, I give this book 2 of 5 paws.

Lilly had a life before all the craziness started, Keith her cute human boyfriend and then there was Amy her BFF who was like a sister to her and would stand by her regardless of the outcome.

I was generous with the two stars here because I really liked where this story could have gone.

Lilly is the gatekeeper of the realms and apparently has been keeping them sealed over and over again. All the while she managed to fall in love with two brothers Seth and Samil who are constantly fighting over her.

This one started really strong for me and then went downhill from there. She claimed to "love" three guys but I honestly couldn't believe her connection to any of them. There were also just so many things that made me roll my eyes:

-ok now that the house is warded and we are all safe let's go for a walk outside
-why did it seem like every time she had a thought everyone could "sense" what she was thinking and she was fine with it but then she got pissed when Seth could start officially hearing her thoughts
-there were also a few Scooby doo instances of "ok now that we have everyone together, let's split up"
-it seemed like she had no real feelings for any of the guys it just depended on who was in front of her at the time

I found myself rushing through most of it just so I could finish it.

Destined by Jenna Pizzi is a terrific book. Lilly thinks she is a normal teenage college student who has a couple extra voices in her head and dreams. Turns out she is not normal, nor a teenager. She is the Gatekeeper and is Destined to continue to relive her life to protect humans from evil. This is suspenseful, emotional, mysterious and intriguing. I cannot wait to see where we go next.

This book was so boring. The text even read like a childs book. Wish I could return for a refund, especially since I could not finish it.
