“Lying comes Easily as breathing to Littlefinger. You of all people ought to know that. Every man at court had heard how he took your maidenhead.”
From Ch. 31-33, this storyline focus on the dramatic and mystery tension is incredibly great in fantasy genre and on the comic screen. Tyrion Lannister is captive by Lady Catelyn Stark for his crime, which he didn’t. Arya Stark is training and overhearing the secret conversation in the Red Keep. Ned Stark’s Duty against King Robert’s Power about the plan to assassinate Daenerys Targaryen.
The Cover of Tyrion Lannister and some Arryn’s Bannermen or knight fight against the clansmen such a great detail and looks like the Viking.
Tyrion is captive by Lady Catelyn, Ser Rodrik, And her farther’s Bannermen. They take him to the high road in the way to the Eyrie instead to Winterfell because his men will rescue him. His greatest weapon is his mind to convinces Catelyn of his innocence, but she doesn’t believe him particularly Littlefinger’s lying action. Then turn interrupted and attacked by the Vale Clansmen. During the fight, Tyrion save Catelyn. -Catelyn Believes an assassin’s dagger belong to suspect Tyrion. But when Tyrion saved her life from Clansmen’s Ambush, she feels uncertain and realizes her almost mistakes of him.

She runs and find herself in the Red Keep dungeon which is very dark. Then she discover a huge dragon skull and overhears two men secret talking about killing her father and others. In the Council meeting, Lord Med and King Robert arguing a plan to kill Daenerys Targaryen with unborn child. When the council agrees and side with Robert, Ned resigns the role of the Hand of the King and prepare t return to Winterfell. Then Littlefinger tells him with the news at the brothel where Jon Arryn And Stannis Baratheon visited. - Planing of Daenerys’s Assassination is the immoral act by the King and the small councilor. Ned represent Moral and Honor and Robert represent Power and Leader.
Tyrion really the blame on Lord Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish for put the blame on him. Arya’s training is great and the secret conversation is foreshadow. Ned’s Role is resign because Robert is stranger to him than a friend he knows.
Like the previous GN volume 9, really well to follow the storyline from the novel, not the tv series. The artwork is absolutely great to see characters, setting, and situation with color and ink remain the highlight. Every Pages I See is much like the every scenes from the pages, and it is very charming. Arya’s arc is I favorite, the Small Council Meeting is Memorable that this is Martin’s true version, and Clansmen Ambush is Much better and More Atmosphere.
George R.R. Martin, “A Game of Thrones: The Graphic Novel” (NY: Bantam, 2013) Issue#10 carries the story along with heightened dramatic tension: Tyrion's capture by Catelyn at the Crossroads Inn, the Eastern Road, Tyrion's wit and straightforwardness, attacked by clansmen; Arya's training, lost in the caverns of the Red Keep, overhearing the secret conversation: “Quiet as a shadow. Light as a feather. Quick as a snake. Calm as still water. Smooth as summer silk. Swift as a deer. Slippery as an eel. … A water dancer sees with all her senses, she reminded herself. … Fear cuts deeper than swords” - Arya Her desperate attempt at conveying to her father what she heard, the frustrating council meeting whereby Ned and Selmy try to dissuade Robert's intention to murder Daenerys: “You will dishonor yourself forever if you do this. What did we rise against Aerys Targaryen for if not to put an end to the murder of children?” - Ned. “To put an end to Targaryens.” - Robert. “Your Grace, I never knew you to fear Rhaegar. Have the years so unmanned you that you tremble at the shadow of an unborn child?” - Ned …. “You send hired knives to kill a girl and quibble about honor? I will not be part of murder. Robert. Do as you will, but do not ask me to fix my seal to it.” - Ned. - - -
Wow, An actual good comic. Sadly it took 10 issues just to get to this point but it's most welcomed. I like how it actually explained the story when it got to Arya's and Ned's part (which merged perfectly together). This issue proves that the comics can still be turned around and made into a good thing. I just hope it stays that way.
The plot thickens in King's Landing, and the Hand of the King, manages to piss off the King. There is talk of sending an assassin, while Lady Stark and her prisoner get attacked in the Vale.
