Daniel Abraham's adaptation of George R. R. Martin's acclaimed epic fantasy A Game of Thrones continues to cast its gripping spell.
In the savage north, Jon Snow finds new friends-and enemies-among the brothers of the Night's Watch, sworn to defend Westeros against the horrors that lie beyond the Wall. In the more civilized savagery of King's Landing, Eddard Stark learns from Catelyn of the Lannisters' involvement in the attack on Bran . . . and the murder of Jon Arryn, the previous Hand of the King. While across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys-newly wed to Khal Drogo-learns what it means to be a khaleesi of the Dothraki.

High-level story seems fine. In most cases, it seems logical. Far too graphic. Descriptions of brutal killings and rapes carry more detail than is warranted. It seems as if Martin wanted a murder or rape every three pages. Shows women in a poor light - seems women had no status except as objects. Story jumps from character to character making it hard to follow unless one draws a family tree spanning several sheets. I have heard of rich storylines but this is going too far. Overall, seems to be a cheap porn book.
Boooooo! This is the end of volume 1. I'm so glad I'm reading these, It's Game of Thrones... but with beautiful art, how could I not love it right? And yes, I'm really loving this. It has the right amount of information, doesn't drag and is full of action. I am especially digging the transition to different scenes and the art is just phenomenal.
I have to admit I found this series over long. there were times I thought, Get on with it! But with so many characters to follow, I can't see any other way to get in all the info of what happened to who. And Martin does create characters wh hold your interest whether you find them likable or not.
“When I have Proof, I will take it to Robert” -Ned
From Ch. 19-20, 23 of the literary pages, high-level story to put the important rich Worldbuilding on the graphic color pages focus on three protagonist’s POV to start a new chapter of life role. Surround a Many Characters That must prepare to learn and must do on different role in medieval time.
The Cover of Daenerys’s dream of her with atmosphere surround the fire and the dragon remain her house’s family: Fire And Blood. It is actually quite good and at least cover the nude.

The new chapter of Life of the Black isn’t easy than what Jon thought. Ned doesn’t want to be the role to serve the King’s Landing, But he must become the Hand to solve the crime for Justice. Daenerys never expect to be happy with her new people, Her Royal, and her lover.
Looking at the comic version of a new location is quite much like the original novel and different from the HBO shows. Castle Black, King’s Landing, And Dothraki Sea is quite remarkable. I praised the focus of storyline of Jon Snow become the Black, Ned Stark become the Hand, and Daenerys Targaryen become Khalessi. Characters appearance including members of Small Council. Ser Allister Thorne, Jeor Mormont, And Ser Jorah Mormont is exactly like in the Book To See From Martin’s Vision. The Flashback is excellent. Although seem to be flaws and criticism, but brilliant to see the length of a storyline.
Yes, despite all the flaws mentioned by the reviewers, which are probably true, the book is a five star read. It's brilliantly written and compels you to keep reading. So what if the books end abruptly and you have to buy the next one. You get plenty of bang for your buck. And yes, there were some predictable moments but there were plenty of surprises too. The writing is fresh and compelling and the characters are interesting and memorable. I'm not sure what readers are looking for exactly when they crack open a book but they need to lighten up. For a nominal fee, you will get hours of entertainment. Buy it. You won't be sorry. Makes a good gift too, as most people like it.
As I said for the previous 2 books, It's progressing much faster then the first 2 books and I like that. You all know how I feel about the poorly designed characters so no need to get into that any more then we need to.
Overall, The comics have went from terrible to alright over the course of the 6 comics but I still think there is improvement to be done. I'd like to see the characters re-designed and for the books to be longer as well. Other then that, It's an ok comic.
Intrigue in King's Landing as the Starks prepare to find proof that the Lannisters have killed Jon Arryn and tried to kill Brandon Stark. The small council convenes, and we find out that the Iron Throne is 6 million stags in debt. Across the Narrow Sea, Viserys is shamed by his sister, as she starts taking her rightful place in the Khalasar.
Me encantan estas revistas! me gustan los dibujos, la historia es obviamente como el libro, nada de libres interpretaciones como en la serie... aunque nunca fui coleccionista de comic ni lei ninguno, esta saga me gusta mucho.
“Common people pray for rain, healthy children, and summer that never ends. It's no matter if the high lords play their game of thrones, so long as they're left in peace... They never are." - Jorah “And what do you pray for Ser Jorah?” - Daenerys “Home" - Jorah
Other than that, this remains just alright. It's not my favorite version of the story by far, but I always remember it can be worse. It can always be way worse than what it is.
I love the books and the TV show, but maybe this was overkill. I couldn't get into the characters in this one and was too bored to bother finishing it.
