Great summary of the author's life moving around and promoting through the California State Parks system. I especially enjoyed the sections on Bodie, Highway 1 fog, and redwood pirates on the Eel River. Seems to suggest staying as close to the field as you can and avoiding management if you want to avoid heart attacks.
